Did you also think that becoming a vampire requires a bloodsucker to bite you, drink your blood, then you have to die? Yeah, that’s what I thought as well. Then one night, I missed the metro home, and now I know that reality from fairy tales sucks more…
Damn, I had such a nice, average life! Then after a one-night stand, I woke up with a bite mark on my neck. First, obvi, I freaked out, but it turned out, that this wasn't the end of the world, this didn’t mean I’m already a vampire, folklores are just folklores, and one tiny bite has never turned anyone into a vampire. Though, the bad news is, I’m on my way to becoming one of the monsters.
And who would want to be a bloodsucker?
I certainly don’t, so when William, the man I’ve become infatuated with, told me that he’s a vampire and he wants to turn me, I told him to go to hell and decided to join the night hunters of Brightmore to kill him. Or at least try. I just need to be strong enough to resist him and avoid the rest of the bites...
I just can't stop wondering, why did he choose me?
