Chastity Jones is the real thing. She's beautiful, she's classy, and she's got money to spend. Other people s money. She runs away, and starts stripping at a men's club, and there she catches the eye of Legend, a mysterious and handsome 6-4 hunk with straight black hair that hangs over his shoulders. His brownstone parties are famous attended by celebrities, ballers, and hustlers alike. But the real parties are in his basement; sex parties that include girl-on-girl action, and even kinkier fare. His parties are so successful he easily clears $25,000 to $40,000 a weekend. For Chastity it's love at first sight but, try as she might, Legend only treats her like a little sister and under his tutelage Chastity is soon hanging with the big dawgs. They buy her cars, pay the rent on her condo, buy her expensive jewelry and take her on shopping sprees. But the man she wants most shows her no romantic interest; and that s Legend. And then she meets Hunter he's a drug kingpin with millions of dollars, and also Legend's cousin and he falls for Chastity in a big way. Suddenly Chastity is caught up in a whirlwind of money, sex, drugs and danger and the only way out lies in death.

Hey All! My name is Shay, and I'm 21, a college student (senior), a New Yorker (Harlem! Holla!), and author of the nu book, Raw: An Erotic Street Tale.

Well, to be honest . . . I use the name Shay, but it's actually a psuedonym. Why? Because I'm on the downlow as an author. My family doesn't even kno I wrote a book yet . . . cause if they read the stuff I wrote they'd have me thrown into a padded cell and have me shot up with all kinds of mind-bending drugs in an attempt to clean up my "nasty" mind. And since I don't want to be imprisoned or get needle marks, I assumed a psuedonym! Maybe one day soon I'll let my family kno my alias, but that day hasn't come . . . yet.

Okay, this is my first book, and so will always be a sentimental favorite. The funny thing is that while I'm SO proud of having written it, I can't tell anyone! If yu read my profile info yu'll see that Shay is actually a psuedonym, and my friends and family don't kno I'm an author!

Is Raw based on my life? Naw, but it's based on the life I kno best . . . street life. Many of the situations in the book have happened to me and/or my friends. Some of the craziest things in the book (including that INSANE scene in the basement of Legend's basement....if yu've read the book, yu kno what I mean! LOL), I actually witnessed.

Anway, if yu've already read Raw...I hope yu liked it.

Raw by Shay was a very entertaining read.... A few chapters into the story, my mouth literally dropped open...like, no Shay didn't. In her debut novel, Shay has been able to capture and keep my attention... I genuinely NEEDED to know what would happen next. Although there are many novels with the same type of background, poor girl becomes a stripper after being raped or molested, meets a rich handsome man, falls for him and goes through a lot of crap for her troubles; Shay has found a way to put a new twist on it and made it a refreshing change! Chastity is a female force to be reckoned with.... all-in-all the story flows well and leaves you wishing for a part II.....Not bad for a debut novel,Shay has alot of potential.

there have been four books that i have been waiting to read when i was active on Myspace. one was another woman's husband and the other was this that i have read. the other two i am not going to say because i haven't read them yet. But anyway, this one was worth the wait. This is not your typical street novel as well as your typical erotic novel. this book have been a great storyline that deal with love, betrayal, and revenge. Once again, Chasity have proven my point where killers are not born, they are made. Once you touch that button, you might as well call Geico for life insurance. Legend, i must say, smart and intelligent man, but when it came down to the one he love, he needed to open his mouth, and once he gave a clue, he learned it was too late. Jackie, to me, that was the best character out the whole book. And Hunter, I can't say nothing bad about that character, but i cannot say anything good about him either. This book is definitely a good novel for comedy, drama, as well as erotica. The only thing i would say is that the author should worry more about the punctuation and spelling. It not much error, but its there.

I loved it! Yes it had some typos who cares I could not put that book down and got mad when I had too. That book was pure fire!!!!. And I have read noire nikki turner ashley and jaquvias . I truly loved it because it didn't seem like that was the first book u every wrote. Please keep writing cause I will buy all of your books.

I did not care for this book. The storyline was unimaginative and the typos were ridiculous. This author needs to invest in an editor. Noire is still the Queen of erotic street tales in my book!
