Brilliantly written! Each story had its own trial and thrilling adventure following an EMP attack. So many scenarios with the same conclusions. Yet I know now more than I knew what I need to survive a catastrophic event like that! My dad's bunker bag doesn't seem so overboard now seriously!

EMP

Very good books. Very vivid and frightening. Too real. Makes things you do not want to think about seem able to happen. I felt I could see the characters clearly and the conditions more clearly.

built to survive: EMP Survival in a powerless world boxset

I enjoyed reading the books. The book build to survive, books one was about surviving in a world that nothing worked and learning how people react when they can not control the situation. Book two was about a bully who needed to have power.

Great stories

I read all three stories. I was hooked from the beginning. I was looking for something different than my regular genres . Each story starts differently and each story told how each of the main characters survived and how they were challenged in different ways. I loved that it felt realistic and also each story came to a relative happy ending.

I will not give a star rating to a book I DNF’d at p13 out of 740. I think it is unrealistic to start off with a late Friday night phone call from a doctor telling someone that they have three months to live. This isn’t the world I live in.

I read the first book in this box set. It was just okay for me. Im not sure I'll read the rest of the set. I really liked the concept but some of the writing seemed a bit childish. It was enough to turn me off of the other books. Will see. I may pick it back up to see how it all comes together.

Over The Top

For the most part these three stories were good but they seemed over the to0 due to the circumstances that the protagonists found themselves in so often. They were just beyond believable several times and that’s the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5.

The story was a little slow but very iinteresrimg.

I am only reviewing the first story since I had already read the last two. The story was good and the characters were real. It just took me a while to read it and remembering where I left off was a challenge.

Separate the good guys from the bad

Wait! Think a bit about what an impact on your life having no electricity. Add to that no Internet, no radio or TV access.
GREAT story.

NOT BAD!

Just thought that too much unnecessary detail was used occasionally.
Also, I don't hang out with bad guys, but their language seemed "fake".

Simple but enjoyable.

While not the writing excellence of the top post-apocalyptic authors, this was an enjoyable read. Enjoy it without thinking too hard.

Built to surVive

All three books were very good! All were different stories. They were what you think things might be like. Tough!
