STEAMY AGE GAP ROMANCE!
This was a steamy,quick read by a new to me author and I am glad I tried her work!
The chemistry between Jude Hayes and rain Avocet melts the pages it is so hot!
One kiss causes a black out literally that leads to a dangerous game and this is where the adventure seeker and the artist start their journey to love, patience and lots of sex!

Rain lives her life through her art moving and travelling to where her heart takes her, alone for most of her life she has never really had anywhere to call home or anyone who has ever loved her. The night that she meets Jude she discovers what love at first sight does exist and he shows her a world that she never knew and is so perfect it can’t possibly be true. So, she does the only thing she thinks she can do and runs from the one man who could be hers. Will she realize her mistake before it is too late or has, she lost what she never knew existed?
Jude has been searching for her, his artist so when he discovers Rain outside his museum, he knows that fate has smiled on him, and he has no intention of ever losing sight of her again and challenges her in ways he knows will bind them together. It’s a perfect night until they are interrupted, and she disappears. In one night, he knows he can’t live without her and will do whatever it takes to find her. When he finds his Rain can he convince her that together they are the perfect storm?
This was such a sweet and engaging read, I was emersed in Rain and Jude’s world and loved watching them fall in love. Rain has never known any real kind of love, so Jude takes her by surprise, and Jude is the perfect match for her. Highly recommended 4.2* read.

After Hours is the first installment in the Long Hot Summer series written by Regina Wade. This fabulous insta-love novella is a quick read filled with a swoon-worthy male main character, a sweet innocent female heroine, and lord of spice.
Jude Hayes is a handsome late 30’s successful businessman. He values art at its rawest form. He sets his sights on discovering the artist behind the street art he’s seen that make him feel an immediate connection. He spends 6 months looking for her and one hot summer night stumbles across her working on a piece. Rain Avocet is an artistic soul that doesn’t have much stability in her life. Luckily all she has ever needed is her art. She’s sweet, kind, and innocent. She has never had someone care about her and is surprised Jude is interested in her. She doesn’t fight the connection but does need Jude to take it slow.
Overall this was a super sweet steamy read. It is well written and I devoured the entire book in one sitting.

But Rain never trusted anyone. Does she trust Jude with her heart?

Rain is a street artist with a lot of talent. She is constantly moving around never staying on one place too long. Jude travels the world looking for treasures to both give to the museum to display and some to keep for himself. He fell half in love with Rain from her street art and has been searching for her for a long time. When he stumbles upon her creating a chalk art piece right at the museum he’s thrilled. But Rain’s past causes her to run after they spend an amazing few hours together. Can Jude not only find her again, but convince her they belong together?.

After Hours is book one and a great start to the Long Hot Summer series. In this book we get Jude and Rain's story. When Jude sees graffiti art he is immediately taken by it and is determined to find this mysterious artist. Rain is a loner who uses her art to express herself. I loved the way the author brought them together and the intense and steamy connection these complete opposites had. I enjoyed the storyline, the characters, and the ending. I look forward to reading the rest of this series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Regina Wade has been a must read author for me for some time now. She know how to draw a reader into her stories from the 1st page to the last. Jude and Rain's story is one of finding where you truly belong and learning to believe that you truly do belong there. You will be sorry if you miss this fantastic start to a new series!.

This book was soooo good. Steamy, entertaining and completely OTT. I loved the connection between Jude and Rain and how they saw each other. The descriptions were so poetic and beautiful. Great story from start to finish.

She finds her late at night
After Hours is the first book in the Long Hot Summer series. I did enjoy this story but I will say that at the beginning I was a bit confused as to what the plot was about and it was a bit slow to build. But once things were established I got into the story and the characters, Rain and Jude.

Wow!
Short, emotional and so well written. The insecurity entwined with her artistic abilities make Rain an intriguing character - a puzzle that Jude had already started to put together in his mind. But, after finding her, it turns out that love may not be enough for the adventurer/treasure hunter Jude to secure the best treasure he’s ever sought.

Explosive
I loved this book. Rain and Jude made a great couple. Rain is a dynamic, sweet artist, and Jude is a sexy art Connoisseur. Together they're magic.I would definitely recommend this book. I gave it 5-stars, because it as sexily written and joyfully read. Thank you, Ms. Wade for writing such an enjoyable ook.

Didn't expect that!
This short story/novelette was full of RAW PASSION. Jude Hayes is a subtle book boyfriend. I so wish this could've been a novella or even a full length novel! Like the search for Rain, when Jude first discovered her and stalked her 😉. All of those things would've made perfect for a novella/novel!

Short and steamy
After Hours was the perfect blend of spice and plot. A lot of novellas are lacking in plot, but this one had a nice story with it and didn't fee rushed. Jude and Rain are absolute fire.

This is the first book in the Long Hot Summer series it can be read in about an hour or so and once started it will grab you keeping you in place until the last page has been turned. Jude sexy as all get out businessman who loves art in all its beautiful forms and his favorite form of art is when it is in the rawest which speaks to him like the new street art that has captured his undivided attention now to find the artist is the adventure six months it takes for him to locate his little artist. Rain is sweet, treats others the way she wants to be treated more a loner who has the soul of some of the great artists that came before her but she is always searching for something more stable since she has never really found stability and all she lives for is her art plain and simple so when a sexy man shows interest in her it comes as a surprise. The attraction is instant from the moment he show interest in her art but it is also terrifying for her because no one has ever really cared for her so trusting others doesn’t come easy for her she has one best friend that she trust but others will have to work to earn that trust so the moment Jude kisses her she runs will he let her get away, will she learn to trust him, will he be able to show her his true self and can they find happiness together?.

Jude is famous for being able to find ancient treasures and artifacts, but he has been unsuccessful in finding the street artist whose work haunts him. Rain has only ever had her friend Friday to care for her and she really doesn't trust that. She plasters her art everywhere on her search for something she isn't sure she believes in. One night in front of a museum, Jude finds Rain creating a beautiful mural on the steps and realizes that she is HER, the artist he has been searching for. Rain cannot believe that a man like Jude actually SEES her. When they share a kiss and the city goes dark, they both wonder where their strong attraction will lead. Regina Wade has totally outdone herself with her latest book! The characters are fantastic. The writing is phenomenal!! The way she uses colors, art, and imagery to bring life to this book is beyond anything I’ve read before. Her characters, Jude and Rain, are my new favorite couple!

Perfection. I can't wrap my head around the fact that this was a short story. It was beyond sexy, sassy and silly. It evoked heavy emotions on both sides of the spectrum, yet again it was a SHORT story!!! I loved Jude and Rain's story. They were amazing together and for each other. I'm struggling to put my thoughts into words. It was an absolutely charming story and a delightful ending.
