Rate this book
No food. No shelter. No way out but through.

A calamitous pair of storms.

Two women on the run from their past caught in the whirlwind.

They'll either stand and fight - or be consumed in the aftermath.

Tired of the same old boring story? Welcome to the second half of Aftermath - an epically long addiction from #1 best-selling post-apocalyptic author Mike Kraus along with Stephanie Mylchreest and Misty Zaugg.

Twin hurricanes obliterate the eastern coast of the United States, bringing with them a blight that devastates America's breadbasket. As the nation's food supply withers on the vine, the population turns upon itself and millions die from starvation, infighting and disease within days of the storms' passing. In the midst of the devastation left by the storms, two women in the Gulf Coast must fight against the dangers from their past to survive the aftermath of the storms and find a new order in a broken nation.

Hi there. Thanks for stopping by!

Imagine a world where disputes are solved by single combat and a girl's dream is to become a scrapper, earning glory and wealth in the arena doing what she loves to do: fight. Pick up Combat Origin, and you'll fall in love with Kiriai, a kick-butt heroine that doesn't let anything stand in her way, ever.

That's the beginning of my Young Adult Dystopian Series: Combat World. It's a fast-paced series you'll want to curl up with and enjoy.

Book 2 of this series is great .

Survival is hard enough without the government and troops coming g in to confiscate food and other supplies from citizens trying to survive as cold winter is upon them. Citizens in the cities in the FEMA camps are being starved and even killed so the government officials can have the food and supplies. Rebels as they are called eventually take them out and a new Mayor and council take over and they will work together to make sure anarchy doesn't happen again.

a thrilling finale!

There was so much contained within the pages of this box set, it’s hard to choose the most important things. I commend the authors for their attention to the cycle of abuse, the release of anger and hatred, and PTSD. And for the varieties of family structures. I especially enjoyed learning about prepper skills and the positivity to be found throughout one of the best post apocalyptic series!

Excrllent

A story of adversity and recovery. Packed with lots of action and adventure. A story that reminds us that not every family is joined by bloodlines. Good read. Highly recommend.

This was an interesting book to read and I thought that it was just a good idea as how things came together at the end.
