I never chose to be a writer... Writing chose me. In Romania, we have a popular tradition for when a child's hair it's cut for the first time. Friends and family gather to celebrate the future of the child and the little one is given a tray full of objects. Now, on this tray, you can place anything from money, car keys to food, and pets. Every object is a symbol and it's said that the first three things the child would pick will determine his or her path in life.

My loves, I picked red lipstick, a pencil, and a glass full of whiskey...I picked the romance writer's starting pack.

I was fortunate enough to put my work out into the world, become an author, and share this incredible and uplifting journey with each and every one of you.

Welcome to my universe, and Thank You for being here!

I said it before, I'm saying it again. I love Diane Portman-Ray's sense of humor. I smiled or giggled so many times I lost count. However, the plot and the characters did not deviate from the average. It felt like reading one of the insta novellas about a domineering, crazy possessive billionaire and a "washed-out schoolteacher" who worked as a nanny for him. Only on more pages. The speed they gave each other orgasms after they met for the first time was quite astounding. So even though an amusing story, I'm afraid I'll forget about it in a week...

When you first meet Hunter you wanna slap him for how he treated Ameila and how he was acting towards his baby niece. I csn understand alil why he was that way towards the niece. But the baby was underdeveloped because of his neglect.
The sexual tension between the two was that TENSION!! I love how Amelia did push back but she did give in quick to Hunters demands. Which I gotta say 🥵🥵🥵🥵
Kneeling and feeding him pizza and him feeding her pizza lord idk why but that was hot. And him showing her slowly what he wants showing her how to take a punishment.

And taking her to one of his clubs showing her the lifestyle 😈
But we got serious when dealing with there past. From abandonedment issues to killers. It was a good ride.

Low angst, no ow/om drama, no cheating, slighg secondary characters, Sexy times, no virgins

I liked this but than I didn’t? I think we’ve realized by now, I need my smut. It was good smut but reminded me of a bad porno and I couldn’t get over it

"Did you make yourself come, Amelia?” She sucked in a breath. “Mr. Knox…”

^^ this was just 19% in, her first week there, this whole scenes made me cringe and laugh

This book includes soft BDSM themes, such as collaring, impact play, voyeurism and little more that I didn’t really care to remember. It wasn’t the writing itself even though there were misspelling but more of the chemistry between Hunter and Amelia. I couldn’t feel it, i wanted more from them. Hunter was just a GRADE A with his push and pull behavior got extremely annoying after a while. I loved Amelia and Sofia’s characters so much, I fell hard for them but again when Hunter was in the picture it was meh. But does he make a comeback? Of COURSEEE, his little development was a flip switched but I wasn’t mad. I need something more from his character and I got it towards the end 😪👌🏼

Oh, Hunter at first I hated you. I wanted to use my black belt on you fyi I dont have one but you get the point. Even though I can separate reality from fiction I still felt this book emotionally.

While this book title is Nanny it isn't just based on the title but so much more. Amelia is exposed to a whole new world. This world is for particular tastes and it comes in all different forms. While reading this you will feel for Hunter and the struggles he has with his past and now his present. Amelia had a kind heart and developed a fierce protectiveness for Hunter's niece. I know if I say anymore I will give this book away but it is a must read.

Diane serves smut galore and once again she delivers! Nanny is a standalone read and so good! I mean c’mon we have a pizza scene and a car scene, TWO VERY MEMORABLE SCENES!!!🥵🥵

Hunter is an alpha male we all love and desire, I hate him but love him. Diane always writes the most infuriating but lovable H! Amelia is such a tender hearted and loving h. Truly adore her tender side.

Once again I’m here to publicly plead with Diane to write another story for two characters she shamelessly mentions in the last pages of the book. 🙏🏼👀🙏🏼

Good story with so much potential in being great. The author needed to go more detailing and better excruciating for the struggles in which both characters suffered. More scenes explain how their developed and navigated through their pain. It has a good plot to discuss but needed to be addressed better

I liked the parts with Amelia and the baby but when it came to the hero and the heroine that’s where this book lost me. I didn’t feel the chemistry these two we’re supposed to have and I couldn’t connect with them. Plus I’m not a fan of BDSM anything.

Diane coming in clutch with this fast, hot, and steamy book. Hunter and Amelia couldn't be more different and yet they have something is common. Hunter is cold, very BDSM and rules Sin City. While Amelia is warm, sweet and wants a simple typical life. For someone that has little to no idea of the BDSM world Amelia is very willing whenever Hunter tells her. It's almost like she's two different people. If there's one annoying thing it's the drama that happens, it goes from 0 to 100 so quick, but I guess that's why it's great drama. Great quick read, enjoy.

I enjoyed some parts in the book, but overall it was not really my cup of tea. I could not connect with Hunter and Amy as a couple and the story in general.
