Draco and Hermione find comfort in each other in the safety of a hotel room.

This was truly a beautiful one shot. Hermione and Draco are both pretty fuced up, using sex as distraction and insomnia treatment.

It's beautiful and raw and dark. It is such a shame that this was not a multichap story because these versions of Draco and Hermione have definitely the potential for an epic book.

I wanna explicitly point out how much i like the idea of comparing Draco and Sirius. It was such a great idea that makes me wonder what Sirius would have said about Draco if he had survived the fateful night.

In the dark times of war, you may have to find a coping mechanism that isn't morally correct. For Hermione the only thing that helps her sleep at night isn't her boyfriend Ron but Draco Malfoy. He is the only thing that helps her keep it together and push on. No matter that she knows how wrong it is do this with him whilst she's dating someone else, she can't stop it or else she goes crazy.



Beautiful one shot that managed to caption the angst of the war and the things that people turn to, to push through.
The writing was a bit confusing to me and I would prefere if the ending gave us some closure, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
