USA Today Bestselling Author, storyteller and cheeky wench, SUZAN TISDALE lives in the Midwest with her verra handsome carpenter husband. All but one of her children have left the nest. Her pets consist of dust bunnies and a dozen poodle-sized, backyard-dwelling groundhogs – all of which run as free and unrestrained as the voices in her head. And she doesn’t own a single pair of yoga pants, much to the shock and horror of her fellow authors. She prefers to write in her pajamas. Suzan writes Scottish historical romance/fiction, with honorable and perfectly imperfect heroes and strong, feisty heroines. And bad guys she kills off in delightfully wicked ways. She published her first novel, Laiden’s Daughter, in December, 2011, as a gift for her mother. That one book started a journey which has led to more than twenty published titles. To date, she has sold more than 750,000 copies of her books around the world. They have been translated into Italian, French, German, and Spanish. You will find her books in digital, paperback, and audiobook formats.
Muriale The Daughters of Moirra Dundotter #2 Suzan Tisdale
Muriale McCullum has had the love of her life die and somehow her heart still brokenly beats. Her parents are worried that she might never recover from her loss, so they decide to send her to Edinburgh, with her sister Orabillis along for the trip.
Then Muriale meets Rory MacLeod, a knight in the kings service and she starts to realize that life just might be worth living again.
Rory MacLeod has devoted his whole life to being a Knight to King and country, but when he meets the beautiful Muriale McCullum, he begins to question his thoughts on what he wants from life, while falling for the fair Muriale.
But there's a madman on the loose, and he is showing no sign of slowing down on his brutal killing spree. Now it's a race against time to find the courage to give Muriale his heart and also keep her from being the madman's next victim.
Suzan Tisdale is absolutely fabulous. This story sucked me in and didn't let me up for air until it was finished. Muriale is a sweet lass who has known too much pain and finds just what she didn't know she needed when she meets Rory and Rory is a special type of guy you only dream of finding. Orabillis is quite the feirce lass herself and I can't wait for her story. All in all once again I'm impressed that Ms.Tisdale is such a talented writer and I would highly recommend this book.
I love this author, & i did get this book as an advanced review copy. I was disappointed, the overall story line was good, but when it takes until the epilogue to get your h/h together and their scenes are so incredibly few. I perhaps feel like i am missing the point of this series. I loved the heroine, she was a great character, the hero also a great character, however the story does not flow & in reading it, the ending is unbelievable at best. So much time was spent on minor characters & describing them, that it took away from the story for me. Overall, disappointed in the wait for a new book.

MURIALE is a must read in Suzan's "The Daughters of Moirra Dundotter" SERIES!
The calamities that befall Muriale & her hard-headed sister Orabillis was a lively & great read!
One can only hope that Suzan continues onward with whether or not Orabillis can put her sword aside & admit to the womanly feelings she's experiencing for the first time in her life.
It's a great mystery/suspense with some romance. Some scenes were harder ro read, only because of subject manner. But it was so well written and had me on the edge of my seat wanting to know what would happen next. Thank you Mrs Tisdale for a great read. I can't wait for more!!
This book finds three of the most stubborn McCullums away in Edinburgh on a quest to heal Muriale's broken heart, while not losing their minds over Orabilis' habits and shenanigans. A murderer is on the loose and they find themselves enmeshed in the hunt to find him before he strikes again.
This was a great story. I love how Muriale lost the love of her live and is trying to figure out how to move on. The characters were great. The writing style was very good. I hope there will be more books.
Never disappointed! I have read most all her books and have loved all of them. She keeps you on the edge of your seat. I usually will read Suzan's books in less than a week Very difficult to put her books down.
Suzan Tisdale weaves a story full of love, both familial and romantic, fear of the unknown and fear of a madman and you won't be able yo put it down. And you'll be saying with me "Hurry with the next one!!"
