Has to go down in history as the most stressful delivery day/night ever! Fiona is giving birth during an actual war lol! Loved every bit of this story. Only part I didn’t understand was why Fiona didn’t always use her powers - especially during the accident- at first I thought she may have been burned out from healing but she is an aether witch and is supposed to be able to pull power from everything around her and she used her powers after when facing off the hunter - just didn’t make sense sometimes to me. But other than those times loves these characters so much and hope for a spin-off series (maybe about the twins or about Morgan and Wesley!!!)
I found this series entertaining and fun to read however the author missed several times where the brothers did not share. Like Gabriel was kidnapped and when he was found and brought home there was not one word of his bother being informed or interacting. Again, when the twins were born not any interaction with Wesley the new uncle reactions. I still gave the storyline five stars but Ms. Benner should try to have better interactions with the people she writes about.
The final installation of the series does not disappoint: all the fronts come crashing together and it is explosive! The pages were turning so quickly.
Don't pick up this book if you can only read it one chapter at a time, that is never going to happen. No self-control will work here. It is that good.
War has come to Mountain Shadow, war between the Brotherhood and the supernaturalus who live there. An uneasy, but necessary, truce must exist between the coven, the vampires, and the werewolves. Can Fiona and Gabriel convince them all to work together?
As I was feeling smug for predicting the plot some unexpected twists shocked me. There is a lot of action in this book. I have already read the next series.
