The plot was ok, but the ending sucked. It was too rushed, like the author was developing a story and someone told them they have to finish the story in the next two chapters. And it then just went "wham, bam, thank you ma'am" and done. I've been reading for 665 chapters to see the explanation to his wife about his past, his family, his everything before he was exiled and met her, but we do not see that. We do not find out anything about how he was framed and exiled nor about how he and the actress ended up the way they were in that car. It is just mentioned that the Murong family detective agency found everything out and that it was his cousins. About the explanation to his in-laws, he just orders Chen Qinglu to explain while he rushes in to hold the baby and his wife just takes him back with nothing explained.
The ending disappointed me very much. I suffered through all of that in MTL, because I was intrigued and then the ending deflated me like an untied helium balloon.
Also I hated her mother.
