Dori Baquet never thought her life was all that remarkable. A single waitress living in New Orleans, she was just trying to make it through the pandemic in one piece until one little brick to the head unexpectedly sucked her into an alternate dimension.
Now, she’s navigating an unfamiliar, medieval-type world called the Outer Realms, where there’s no chocolate…or books, and everyone lives in castles and rides horses while carrying around their own personal sword. If that weren’t strange enough, she learns she’s actually a descendant of the oldest, most cursed family here. Plus, she has magical abilities. But the craziness doesn’t end there.
She only got one of their love mark tattoo thingies to fit in with the locals and avoid being burned at the stake or some such atrocity.
Except the very day she realizes how to get back home, her freaking love mark alerts her to the presence of her soul mate nearby. And Dori can’t seem to resist her insatiable need to see what this dude’s like.
Meeting the King of Lowden, however, changes everything, and Dori soon learns her adventures in this oddball world are just beginning.

I really enjoyed All my love it is book five in the Love Mark series it can be read as a standalone but I recommend that you read them in order and also check out all the greatness that is Linda page she is an author you don't want to miss out on . I was really drawn into the story and what the characters go through and just from start to finish I didn't want to put my reader down . I don't really read much in this genre but there is a few authors I will and Linda Kage is one of those authors .
I can't believe we got to the last book in the series!! Though, honestly, I was dying to have all my questions from the previous books answered! This is the last book from the Love Mark series and tells the story of Dori and Xavier. So, the last book in the series left us on a kind of cliffhanger about Dori and now the story begins from there. I really loved the way the book was structured because it gave me a sense of the development of the story. Dori - she's a curious little thing who just gets acquainted with this crazy new world she just landed when her mark love sign is letting her know that her true love is nearby. And curious that she is, she cannot resist the impulse to go find him. But when that happens, things don't go the way she hoped will go. That's why she must go back to Earth. But what she must do and what really happens are totally two different things. She receives the chance to know her true love better. Enter Xavier, the new king of Lowden, who wants to be a truthful king to his people. He feels attracted to Dori and even possessive of her but he knows where his loyalties lay: with his people. But he knows they will never accept a High Clifter as a queen. But only if Dori was a High Clitfer. No, sir, she is something more terrifying for them. But as much as Xavier tries to do good for his people, he cannot fight the attraction to Dori. Because she is kind and so lovable and fearless and so good for him. And even if the saying "Love conquers all" they have to fight strongly for that to happen. They have to fight a curse that causes the reaping and also that will destroy their world. I also loved how the conclusion of this story included all the characters from the previous books. And even in the last chapter of this book we got to experience the power of the true love kiss again. It's hard to say goodbye to all the characters but it helps to get a glimpse of their lives in the future. I would love a spin-off for the children but I don't know what the plot might be for that to happen.
*I received an ARC of this novel. This is my complete and honest review.*
I love this series so much. The idea of the love mark is intriguing, and I'm always excited to see the new couple it brings together. Dori was an incredibly admirable person. She had such a capacity for love, forgiveness, and tenderness. She reminded me a bit of a Snow White type of character. I did like Xavier as well, but I wasn't a fan of his willingness to put others above Dori. Dori appeared to care more for him than he did for her, which was understandable because of the love mark, but it still was off-putting. Their chemistry also seemed to fizzle out a little around the middle of the story. Nonetheless, they were truly an adorable couple with plenty of sweet and humorous moments.
The entire book was well paced and exciting with surprising twists and turns. The climax and resolution of the book were truly superb. I loved how everything came together and the incorporation of previous main characters. The epilogue was satisfying as well with an enjoyable glimpse into the distant future. I do wish the book as a whole had been a touch happier though. Thankfully, it wasn't as dark as the previous book in the series, but I still didn't leave the novel really happy. It all felt a bit bittersweet.
Overall, this was a romantic, exciting story of adventure and fantasy. I highly recommend it to those who like stories of soulmates and magic.

I wish I could describe in a few words but I can’t.
We met Dori in book 4 and being honest with you all, she was my favorite character from that story so in this one she did not disappoint. Feirce, loyal, powerful and amazing is one of the words that can describe her. Oh, and Queen. But you need to read the book in order to find out what she’s queen of.
It was deliciously slow to read about Dori relationship with Xavier but at the same time, totally worth it! He is caring, honest and fire. In more than one way.
I really want you guys to give this book and series a chance so I hope you do!
Thanks LK for made me a part of your ARC Team, I love and will always love the way you write!!
I loved this book! It was an ending to a series that brought me back to fantasy books. Linda's books have always had the ability to make me laugh, smile, cry, and rage at people that live in another world, and this book was no different. It was written beautifully and made me fall in love with characters that really weren't involved for the whole series and that was amazing that she could do that. It wraps the series up very nicely and gives us peaks into all of the characters lives from all the other books. It answered my all my questions that needed to be answered and gave everyone their perfect ending.
What a whirlwind! This was a well-written and exciting story. Absolutely adored Dori - her spirit and humor were spot on. Likewise, Xavier was intriguing. He'd definitely made mistakes in the past, but was committed to his country and his soul mate. I was worried about how the curse "solution" was going to come about, but that anxiety lessened when I figured out the plot twist several pages before said event. There's a very sweet 20 yr epilogue too.
I quite enjoyed the ending. It was so perfect how things turned out. The whole series was fun to read.(Besides the horrible part in the previous book that will never be spoken of again.) I loved all the couples and it makes me feel better knowing they all get a perfect ending. Almost too perfect with that epilogue. I was kind of just laughing through that. I look forward to Linda's next series. Hopefully less death of children in it.
Amazing Dori sets out to find out who her one true love is. A brilliant magical story that keeps you gripped. Brilliantly thought out full of twists turns shocks and surprises. A cracking good read.
