Bloodmagic is the magic of passion. And I’m stuffed to the gills with it.
So, it turns out there might be a way for me to avoid the dark destiny that awaits me. The only problem is that my bloodmagic is completely out of control, which means that some old friendships are becoming increasingly complicated at the exact time when I need my friends more than ever.
Also, avoiding my destiny might not be quite as simple as I’d have liked, seeing that it involves an irreversible decision, some minor betrayals, and a couple of lies. But it’s my life, right? And I should be free to live it the way I want.
Before I can do anything about my destiny, however, I first need to master my bloodmagic.
And you don’t even WANT to know how someone becomes a bloodmaster.
I’m not good at writing reviews so I just say a couple of things about this book. I love the relationship with zig. The fact that he loves her is just the best. Also to find out gunn’s past was interesting. Can’t say I liked her decision any at all but I have hope because it’s not the last book. What can I say I like a character that has a lot of power. I think that she made the decision out of fear more than anything else.
I just read an article today saying that reality is consciousness. It was an interview with a physicist. It makes me curious about how Ms. Harper had the same concept of a newly published book.
This series is well written fantasy. This volume pushes the series into the realm of excellent. I look forward to the next volume.
Started this series and couldn't stop....so many things i need answers to. Really want to know about the half dragons. Loved Zig from beginning, Daniel was the best, and Chloe forced her way to my heart. No idea what the next book will do to finish, which makes me excited and scared at same time!!
I love all of Harper’s books, and with each one I become more impressed by her ability to weave complex themes like being and power into a delightfully moreish tale. Who doesn’t both love and fear dragons? I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
I have been unable to put this series down! Each book brings you deeper into Jess' life and all you want is her happy. This series is full of surprises and definitely worth reading. Last book isn't even released yet BUT I am soo excited to see how Jess fairs.
