Eutychus Bly: Lawman: Smoky Hills' Justice: A Western Adventure

Rate this book
The second adventure in a tremendous new Western series from Casey Nash!

Eutychus Bly is sent to the Smokey Hills of Kansas by Governor William Hoppe. With little information, he arrives and begins to hear rumors of a vicious man by the name of Gilbert Ames, a retired gunman who is pressuring settlers around him for their land. His sons, Spring and Tillie, are chips off the old block, mean and crooked like their pa. The Ameses plan to expand their horse ranch, and they have made it clear they will not be stopped.

But they haven’t met one of Kansas’ newest commissioned lawmen, Range Detective Eutychus Bly. He’s fast with his gun and sly as a fox. Eutychus knows something about dealing with landgrabbers. Only a year previously, his house and crops were burned, and he and his family were forced to leave their homestead.

As Eutychus arrives in Russell, Kansas, he wastes no time getting a bead on what is going on. Now, he will go to work righting the wrongs that are plaguing the Smokey Hills.

Bly book #2

Good story, liked the first book better. I'll keep reading more once they've been written. Everyone needs to start calling Eutychus by the name Eut like his wife Myra does.

Changes are good

What I loved about this story was that change is good. We grow as individuals if we can except change. It makes us better individuals.

A good short story

Great story but short. Boy first solo job in his family county as a range detective. Another greedy violent man who want to take everyone land.
