"Fatboy: A Collection" is a collection of poems centered around grieving a parent, specifically my father. After his sudden passing in April 2021, I found myself completely at a loss on how to cope with the emotions I was feeling. The collection is broken up into three parts: the first week after he passed, a look back at my relationship with my father growing up, and learning to live without him.

This is a heartfelt book about a woman’s feelings regarding her Dads death. Sentences reflecting smiles, laughter, pain, anguish and the simple journey of life that is never just simple. The process of her grief is well reflected in her words.
