VIVIAN
What does it take for a chubby, socially awkward girl to get all the attention? Easy peasy. Just get kidnapped from Earth and thrown onto an alien planet. Since landing here, I’ve been fought over by every single alien I’ve met. Even the local wildlife want a taste.

The one who has me now is terrifying. He’s huge, red, and looks like a demon—complete with a pointy tail! His touch does strange things to my body, and that’s even worse than being scared.

COAL
All I wanted was to get the human female off my mountain. I'm not interested in having a mate; I’m very happy living alone. But the more time I spend with Vivian, the more I realize I can never let her go.

What starts out as a chore to get back my peace and quiet becomes a race to win my mate. I might not be the warrior I once was, but my mate makes me whole, and I’ll do anything to keep her.

This sweet and steamy novella is set in the Outlaw Planet Mates universe and can be read as a standalone.

Outlaw Planet Mates

This series is super interesting. Mainly because it’s not all written by the same author. Took me a minute to figure that out, lol. By the 3rd book, I was super confused as to why the author changed their writing style so abruptly. Once I realized there were several contributing writers, it made more sense. Duh.

Some of these books are fantastic. Some are downright terrible. Some are included with kindle unlimited, some aren’t.

The baseline for each book is that several women were abducted from Earth by little green aliens. (Although, some books reference these aliens as “grey” instead of green. So to save myself the agony from the contradictions, I’ve been picturing little greenish-grey aliens.) The little green human trafficker shits implanted the females with a translator on their way to an assumed auction house of sorts. During their transit, something went wrong. So all the humans were placed in escape pods and sent to land on the outlaw planet. This planet happens to be an old prisoner planet where the prisoners overtook their captors and the planet, so now it’s just a no-man’s land for escaped fugitives and wanted criminals. And so each human female’s story truly begins.

Ever wanted to get intimate with a devil? Than this is the book for you. I rather enjoyed this story. Written in first person (my favorite format), this book picks up where The Alien’s Stone Heart ended. In that book, the gargoyle-like alien turned to a reclusive friend named Coal for help. This book takes us through Coal’s mating.

Coal tracked himself to an escape pod that crashed in his territory. His initial goal was to locate the pod and take the female out of his territory so he could return to a peaceful existence without all the extra traffic. But of course, fate has other things in mind as he begins to fall in love with the human female. Vivian is the unfortunate girl to crash in the escape pod, having wave after wave of aliens attempt to capture her for the value. Her exotic and rare pink hair has a significantly large bounty on her head. She calls Cole “Red” after her translator malfunctions and she is unable to communicate with him at first. With skin as red as a ruby, a forked tongue, tail and horns, he is the very definition of an Earth defined devil, but without the wings. There’s a story there as well, and you will have to read it for yourself.

Just like the gargoyle version, this story is very well written. I found few, if any, editorial errors, which is an absolute welcomed experience. This was a fairly quick read, taking about 2 hours to read from cover to cover. I was pleased to come along on this adventure.

Great!

Reazus Prime is a former prison planet that now serves as a base for the less than desirable creatures of space. Pretty much anything goes if you have the credits. Coal settled on a mountain in Reazus Prime when he tired of his career as a mercenary. He is very protective of his peace and quiet! When a slave ship crashed on the planet scattering pods containing human females, fortune hunters had been searching the planet for the pods. Coal could care less about a human female, but as soon as a pod was discovered on his mountain it was crawling with the hunters. He figured the only way to get rid of them was to get the female and take her to the main port city where he would leave her with a reputable collector so he knew she would be protected and treated well. But before he got to her she had been taken by someone, who had been killed by two other fortune hunters. He tracks them into the jungle where he frees her.

Vivian s abducted from her bed on earth and put into a stasis pod for transport by alien slavers. When she wakes up she is being taken out of the pod by a green alien, who promptly gets killed by two pig aliens. Her translator is damaged and she can’t understand what they are saying. If that isn’t bad enough, a red demon comes along and kills them and insists she come with him. Can things get any worse? At least he wasn’t being mean to her. Then he gets caught in a trap and another alien grabs her. He gets killed by some huge reptiles with huge fangs. Fortunately the red demon chases them off and rescues her. She figures he is her best option at the moment!

Once Coal touches Vivian, she triggers his pheromones suggesting that she is probably his life mate. While he isn’t pleased at first he is desperate to protect her! The longer they are together the more attracted Vivian is the him. But how long can he keep her safe with a whole planet of outlaws looking for them?

Another great book in the Outlaw Planet Mates series! Don’t miss it!.

I have not read any book from the OUTLAW PLANET MATES series, so the created world was new to me. I liked the fact that at the beginning of reading we have a little introduction that brings us closer to OUTLAW PLANET. The reading pattern is standard. A kidnapped human woman is suddenly on a strange planet, where she meets a hellishly handsome alien male. Even though he is initially not looking for a mate, the almost immediate attraction between them makes him not want to leave her. Although such a scenario can be found in more than one alien romance, the fact that the book is full of action makes it worth reading. Though the book is part of a series and some characters have been presented before, you can read it as standalone. I liked the creation of the heroes. Vivian running in the jungle in rabbit slippers just totally cracked me up. In turn the Coal with horns and a tail is an example of a male that I would like to have by my side. However, one thing about the hero's creation did not feel right - when Coal told Vivian about his past, it felt like he was giving dry facts instead of using this event as a background for creating the character. I don't know if it was a result of the fact that perhaps something was more described in another book in this series or the author's deliberate act.
My only regret is that the reading is so short. I would love to see more of our heroes' adventures, such as how they managed to adopt Chewie. After all, I think the book deserves 4 strong stars. In addition, I was interested in the supporting characters - Xadren and Lily - the heroes of the earlier part od the series, so I will definitely reach for Alien's Stone Heart.

The Outlaw Planets Mates series is fantastic. I’m was SO excited to read a second book by Lynnea Lee in this series. Her previous book, Alien's Stone Heart, has the same setting and a few characters in common with this newly released book. However, this IS a standalone and you don’t need to read the previous book to read this one - guaranteed HEA.

Now to the good stuff, the engaging story of Vivian and Coal aka “Red”. Red is a grumpy alien who likes his solitude; essentially he is a hermit. In crashes the escape pod of pink-haired Vivian in the area near his cabin.

What’s a hermit to do? Well, let’s just say that he aims to fix the problem by shepherding Vivian out of his area. Unfortunately, every alien on the planet has heard about the multiple escape pods of human women, so there are many males seeking her. And her pink hair makes her even more highly sought after.

Can he get to her before other alien males do? What will he do with her once he finds her? As a hermit, is he really impervious to female wiles as he thinks he is?

You’ll have to read this engaging story about a woman and an alien male who have an adventure and find that they really aren’t that different after all. They might even find their soul mate with each other along the way.

Lynnea Lee is an outstanding author and I highly recommend this romantic story which just happens to be on an alien outlaw planet.

Never knew tails could be so useful.

Little green aliens are kidnapping women from Earth. Turns out Earth girls are universal breeders and in high demand around the Galaxy. Score one for Earth girls! Oh… wait.

This series begins with a slaver ship malfunction that causes a bunch of pods with women in stasis being released on the surface of Reazus Prime which happens to be an outlaw planet where survival of the shiftiest is the norm.

Coal (aka Big Red, to Vivian) is a retired mercenary living as a hermit on the mountain he claimed as home. When a pod lands nearby, he decides he needs to remove the occupant from his mountain to keep pesky bounty hunters away from his home.

Once Coal meets Vivian, all his best intentions go away and he gets new intentions. Who knew arrow tipped tails could be so useful? Their adventures together were action-packed. Vivian thought he was devilishly handsome. Coal thought she was his little flower. I thought they made a great couple. Really loved their HEA. Would love to see them in a cameo in future stories.

This is a really fun series. I loved the first story and this one was just as great. Highly recommend it.

Wild Alien Adventure!!

What a wild ride from beginning to end! Vivian is abducted by alien slavers and her pod malfunctions and crash lands on Reazus Prime, an outlaw planet. Vivian is now in the fight of her life as she keeps getting kidnapped by alien bounty hunters who are fighting over and killing each other to get to her. One alien, a red demon-like giant keeps saving her from danger and she's hoping that he's trustworthy.

Coal is on a mission to get the human thats being hunted off his mountain so that all these bounty hunters will leave and he can be alone in peace and quiet again. However, the more time he spends with the human, he can't help but have his mating pheromones becoming triggered. It looks like Vivian is his fated mate and maybe he doesn't want to be all alone on his mountain after all.

Oh, I just loved this story!! The sense of adventure and thrill from the very start. I love that Coal comes across as scary since he resembles a demon, but he's just amazing to Vivian. Really well done and highly recommended!!

Vivian has been kidnapped from Earth and slung into the far reaches of space to be sold as a “universal breeder” when she quite literally crashes into the side of a mountain in a space pod. Vivian is brilliantly hilarious and spunky and manages to hang onto her fighting spirit through her outrageous experiences and is the PERFECT foil for Coal, the grumpy, no nonsense, unfriendly alien that comes to her rescue with the goal of getting her off of his mountain so that he can have his peaceful life back. This is part of the outlaw planet series and seriously have to say it’s a new fave because Vivian is a hoot and Coal is just the right amount of alpha, recluse and resourceful to keep you hooked. Coal has not had an easy time of it himself and considers himself flawed and has never felt worthy of a mate. The bond between Vivian and Coal as they really started to connect and trust one another was so carefully plotted in a way that causes me to myself increasingly drawn to the releases from Lynnea Lee. This one was an absolute gem of an alien species but somewhat mountain man-esque read.

This was another great book about a ship full of abducted human females breaking up and the pods being ejected to a nearby planet. The crazy scavenger hunt begins for females by those looking for a mate or cash in on the large bounty. This is a stand-alone story, however, it is even more enjoyable if you read Alien's Stone Heart first. Main characters and a few supporting characters reappear in the book and I suspect future stories.

Vivian and Coal meet when he decides to help get her off the mountain so he can once again enjoy the solitude. However, as fate would have it Vivian is exactly what he needs in his life.

The adventures and story were very engaging throughout the book. Really didn't want it to end which seems to happen too often with Lynnea Lee's books. I highly recommend this and her other books!

A series but not really a series but I'm hooked and can't wait for the next one. I wish I had found Lynnea Lee sooner as I love her imaginative writing!

Alien’s Fire is another fantastic Sci-Fi Romance novella in the Outlaw Planet Mates series. It was exciting, fast-paced, and action-packed from the start and completely captivated me. Great world building. Main characters had an amazing chemistry from the start with outside forces trying to keep them apart.

Coal is a grumpy "hermit" alien who likes his quiet & privacy on his side of the mountain. When an escape pod crashes in the area near his cabin... it brings all the aliens on the planet to his area in search of the "rare" pink-haired human (Vivian). In hopes to rid his area of them.. Coal decides he needs to find her first in order to rid his area of the pesky bounty hunters. Little did he know this human would make him feel things he doesn't deserve to feel.

Alien’s Fire is another fantastic Sci-Fi Romance novella in the Outlaw Planet Mates series and proved to be a delicious treat for this reader! Short sweet and definitely fiery the story of Vivian who is part of a group of kidnapped human females ejected in stasis pods when the slave ship transporting them explodes over Reazus Prime is an exciting and wonderful adventure.
Former Kadrixan mercenary Coal just wanted to get Vivian off his mountain where her stasis pod crashed before it gets overrun by every miscreant on the planet looking for a rare human female.
But then again on second thought that pink hair of hers is rather attractive!
Humorous moments interspersed with getting to know each other while evading the outlaw denizens of Reazus Prime fuel the fast-paced plot of this well written, romantic trek through the mating rituals of alien and human. Great story and a fabulous read!

This book was an amazing read. I love the main character is a curvy girl and being a curvy girl myself i can totally relate to her. I love how Coal looks like well a demon. His description and his tail. I absolutely love his tail and the fact is tongue is forked. Coal livescalone on top of his moutain. A pod holding a human female is causing other aliensvto invade his territory. So like an gruff territorial male he goes to get this human far away so he can go back to peace on his mountain. Well that's until he meets Vivian. Vivian has been abducted and crash landed on this planet. She cant understand anyone. She gets rescued by Coal whom looks like a text book demon firery eyes and all. She's completely sought after because she can breed with some species of aliens of course. So Coal has to keep her safe from everyone looking for her. I just love this book. Its spicy and the plot is amazing.

I loved this book! It was exciting, fast-paced, and action-packed from the start and completely captivated me. Great world building. I absolutely loved the characters. Coal and Vivian had such wonderful chemistry. But I liked his personality. He was solitary and preferred to be left alone on his mountain. He only got involved to save Vivian because the rare pink-haired female would bring many others to his mountain to find and claim her. The last thing he expected when he rescued her was to be attracted to her as well. Vivian's translator was damaged and though the aliens could understand her, she couldn't understand them. She didn't know what was a safer option for her when she is rescued by an alien who looks like a demon right out of her Sunday school lessons; but he proves trustworthy. With others hunting for them, this story was quite the fun adventure. I couldn't put it down. A fantastic read! Highly recommended! 5 stars.

Coal has learned to live alone. While his people are not necessarily overly gregarious they are social and, while he will not admit it, he has been lonely on his mountain. That said when he hears that there is another human female whose pod has crashed on his mountain the last thing he wants is to suddenly be swarmed by others. His plan is simple. 1. Find female, 2. Take to hub, 3, Return to mountain in peace.... Yes, love him... not quite how it goes is it?! As for Vivian, her translator gets fried when she crashes so not only does it now cause her pain but she also cannot really understand anyone either. From the pan into the fire and here comes a red demon to stoke the flames even more. Except that for all he is huge, gruff, growly and grumbly (hmm too many g's methinks, anyway) he is not unkind or cruel towards her. Her chances of survival seem considerably higher with him, plus he smells so nice!!

Coal is an ex-mercenary who was captured by the enemy and was humiliated by having his wings cut off. Feeling emasculated because he could no longer fly his chosen mate to his aerie, he lived for revenge. When his enemies were killed before he could get his revenge, he turned into a hermit on a mountain on an outlaw planet. He just wants to be left alone. Then a human woman with pink hair crashes in a life pod on his mountain. Every one wants human women because they are universal breeders and a woman with pink hair is a rarity. All Coal wants is to get her off his mountain so everybody would leave him alone. He decides to rescue her and make it clear he is taking her to the hub so nobody would look for her on his mountain. However the more time he spends with Vivian, the more he wants to keep her safe and with him.

Usually chubby, socially shy females have a hard time finding true love, but on Reazus Prime this isn't the case. A former prison planet, now inhabited by all manner of aliens of all shapes, sizes, colors, and species, pods containing a single female have crash landed when the ship carrying them explodes. One of these females is Vivian.
The journey she undertakes when she is freed from her pod goes from horrendous, to dangerous, to scary and then keeps going. She is kidnapped by green men, freed from her pod by blue pig-faced aliens, chased by velicoraptors and intercepted by a huge red alien with horns and a tail.
How will it all end for Vivian and who is the giant of a red alien? Is he one of the good guys or someone else for her to add to her list of "things' to fear?

Aliens fire is the second outlaw planet mates book by Lynnea Lee.

We got a taste of Coal in Alien's Stone heart with Xadren and Lily, and now we get Coal and Vivian's story. Bonus is we get to see Xadren and Lily again.

The part I loved the most is how much the men think they have a plan and then they each meet the woman that will single handedly change all those plans.

Coal's one goal is to get the woman who crashed near his home as far away as he can so he can get the people looking for her to leave as well. He wants his solitude. And then he meets Vivian and his mission changes to keeping her safe.

I was moved by Coal's view of himself as lacking and how Vivian proves he is perfect to her.

I am excited for more from this world and author.

Coal and Vivian . . .

Vivian is a human woman taken from Earth to be sold. When the ship explodes, she is one of a few who had been in a pod and survived the crash on Coal’s mountain. Everyone is trying to capture the women and sell them, but Coal does not want them encroaching on his mountain. So he tries to get to Vivian to lead her to a safer alternative. But the aliens searching for females will kill each other to get them, so the “rescue” doesn’t happen easily. And when Coal finally touches her, he feels the pull and believes she is his mate. Can he keep the others from stealing her from him again? Can he keep her safe?

Danger and suspense will keep the reader intent on the story line to see if Coal can save Vivian and take her as his mate. Grab your copy and see if they will find a HEA together.

This is a good book. I love reading where one being is deemed inadequate, yet has more potential than other perceived and then there's that being who can see past the handicap to the true being they really are. Vivian is an kidnapped earth woman whoes pod crashed on a planet of hard living beings. She is being sought-after by slavers wanting to get her back because woman are valuable. Coal is an alien male that lost his wings and is deemed as a handicap and worthless. Coal never wanted a mate, he felt that wasn't worthy, but when he met Vivian, all changed for him and he'll do what ever it takes to keep her safe and protected. Vivian is strongly attracted to her alien protector and doesn't care how other view him as broken, he keeps safe and loved.

This was a quick and easy read that had you rooting for Vivian the cubby pink haired human that’s never had attention other than being picked on because of her size now finds herself kidnapped from earth and crash landed in a pod on a planet where everyone wants her but the big red demon alien who is kicking her off his mountain because other aliens have come to his mountain looking for her and he just wants his mountain and peace and quiet back but the more time Coal spends with Vivian the more he realises she is his mate and cannot let her go and now he must fight to keep her safe and with him. There is some hot and steamy scenes and tongue and tail action as well and some laugh out loud moments along the way as well but overall I loved it and I look forward to the next one.

I love this series. We are introduced to Coal in the first story of this series. A hermit of sorts, not looking for a mate. But when a human is in distress what's he to do to get her off his mountain and away from the slavers. Rescue her of course.
The journey to their HEA is exciting. I loved the interaction between Vivian and Coal. His realization of what is important. His secrets revealed.
Well written with just the right amount of steam. Action packed with a few twists to make it interesting.
I would recommend this series to all who love HEAs, no cliffhangers and a story you will be dreaming about for awhile.

What He Didn’t Know He Was Missing

This was a quick read with a devilish loner of a hero, Red/Coal, who felt unworthy of a mate. Thankfully Vivian, a stranded human, didn’t get the memo. She may be unsure about wanting to stay on an alien planet, but if she does, she wants it to be where she feels safe….which is wherever Red is. Can Coal overcome his self judgement and let Vivian see his heart, or will their time get cut short before he can? There are aliens who want Vivian for themselves, and they’ll stop at nothing to reclaim her. I’ve read everything by this author, and I am NEVER disappointed 🔥 Grab this awesome book and find out why!!!.

Finding what you don’t know you need.

I really liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable although there was an abduction and a bit of violence. The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. Coal was a loner and he was positive that he didn’t want or need a female in his life. Unfortunately, one had crashed near his home and that meant that there were a lot of people headed for his mountain. Vivian had been abducted by aliens and then crashed onto an alien planet where she was abducted again. Coal rescued Vivian and then things got fun. I loved their happily ever after. I recommend reading this book.

This story can definitely be read as a standalone, but it has cross-characters from Alien's Stone Heart. The second we met Coal I wanted to know his deal so I was so excited to see that his story was available now.

Vivian is a good character. She clearly has a soft heart, but she's a fighter. And she takes things pretty well, but doesn't just meekly follow without asking questions.

Coal was a slow reveal. It took a long time to get his back story and for him to open up to Vivian. But it was a good journey. And he was patient and sweet with Vivian.

Read this book on its own, can see that it’s a stand-alone in the outlaw planet mates series. Enjoyed this story about Cole ‘red’ and Vivian. Vivian is abducted from her home and put in stasis to be transported to an alien planet. Cole is an alien who is living a quiet life when a pod crashes near his cabin. He doesn’t really want anything to do with her but unfortunately word gets around about all the humans landing and as such he needs to protect her especially as she could be his life mate. So behind their adventure and it’s a satisfying HEA.

Coal/Red (H), a wounded Kadrixan hermit, wants to live alone on his mountain and is dismayed when one of the escape pods with a human woman crashed on his mountain - he wants her and the aliens who'll come searching for her off of his mountain. Vivian (h) finds herself pursued by aliens and creatures after her escape pod crashed on a planet where everything seems out to get her, except for the giant read demon looking alien who's trying to get rid of her. Until he's not. Coal and Vivian find themselves drawn to one another even as they battle to stay safe. Sweet alien romance with a nice mix of hot and steamy action - horns, tail, special peen makes things a little spicier.

Second book is just as good as the first in this Outlaw series about the planet Reazus Prime. This story about Cole who just wanted to be left alone on his mountain retreat and Vivian whose pod crashed close to Cole's location. Vivian a woman with self-esteem issues is now being hunted by all the aliens. This story was a very enjoyable short alien romance story to read. I liked the characters with their interactions, the storyline was well written with touches of humor and cuteness (Bunny designed PJ's and slippers) and engaging romance along with the action that kept me flipping the pages in this ARC that I received via Booksprout and volunteer to read and review.
