Chambers provides relatable real-life examples of how to be true to yourself instead of vaguely pointing out that changes need to be made.
As you read through each chapter, you’ll find a series of exercises developed to give you the tools you need to get the most out of the book. It’s a great book to read a little at a time to absorb your thoughts and emotions before moving on to the next chapter. The fantastic illustrations by Sarah Hawkinson provides a nice break between chapters and exercises while allowing the reader to focus on various points made. I recommend Ten Pathways as it is a great read that will help people reclaim happiness in life.
‘Ten Pathways’ is a book about redefining happiness that is accessible to everyone. The beautiful illustrations made it extra enjoyable to read. I loved Fleur Chambers’ down-to-earth writing voice, and the way she weaved humour throughout the pages, even when exploring serious issues and challenges.
Fleur expertly identifies the limitations many of us face and is generous with her practical advice to overcome common blockages. 'Ten Pathways’ is filled with easy-to-follow exercises and meditations to solidify the lessons learned in each section.
After reading this book, I will consciously slow down, connect deeper into my heart and be more accepting of my circumstances. I know I will refer to this ‘heavily highlighted’ book, time and time again. A powerful read with a fresh perspective on happiness. I will be recommending this book to many.
It’s like a recalibration for your mind and body. Each chapter has a short exercise at the end to reinforce the content. I read a chapter a day before bed and it gave me the perfect wind down.
