Rate this book
Early in Holmes and Watson's relationship, they're called to a small, dreary shoreside town to investigate strange ritual killings in which the victims seem to be rapidly mummified. Holmes meets Nyarlathotep

A somewhat entertaining tale of Holmes and the Lovecraftian mythos marred by an anachronism of Holmes and Watson using flashlights long before they were invented.
