The 3rd and Final Instalment to the Rainbow Grey Series and what an ending it was; Sad that tis all over but I have enjoyed getting lost in this Perfect Middle Grade series. This picks up right from the ending of Book 2 in the Series and continues the epic battle that started and that is all I’m gong to say!!

This is an Action pack book with Friends both new and old, Wonderful Weather Magic, some brilliant messages about believing in yourself, Stunning illustrations throughout the book I loved this! Sad for this series to be over, but I’ve absolutely adored being part of this world, it’s people and the amazing magic. The next time I see a rainbow, I’ll think of Rainbow Grey!

In ‘Rainbow Grey: Battle for the Skies by Laura Ellen Anderson the Weatherlands are under threat from Tornadia Twist – the greatest villain that ever lived . . . Rainbow (Ray) Grey has to discover what her ultimate magical gift is and use it to stop Tornadia before she destroys the Weatherlands and the Earth!

Accompanied by her friends, Ray heads to Earth to locate the lost crystals of Earth and Sky to complete the golden winged staff that she has inherited. While there they meet an English boy named Klaus Bottomly.

This was Book 3 in Laura Ellen Anderson ‘s Rainbow Grey series. It is a brilliant illustrated magical adventure intended for readers 7-10 years old, though I feel that Anderson’s books will appeal to readers of all ages.

Within its pages there is a great deal about the wisdom of trees and the power of the forest. So expect plenty of tree hugging. The book’s message about climate change is subtle yet clear. Laura Ellen Anderson’s illustrations throughout are adorable.

I have no hesitation in recommending this book as well as the Rainbow Grey series as a whole.

I didn't realize this would be the final book! 😔 It was definitely a satisfying ending to the series, though I would've loved more books. Especially since the first book had red sprayed edges, the second had orange...so I thought it'd be 6 or 7 to make a rainbow. But when it came with purple edges, I checked the acknowledgements and saw it was the final book.

Anyway lol I love ray grey, and this was a lovely culmination of everything she and her friends have been working toward. I'm sad to see this series end, but I still haven't finished Amelia fang, so I have some catching up to do. I can't wait to see what Anderson comes up with next!!

PS - yes, I got this in the mail around noon today and immediately read it. These things will happen 😁🌈

Join Rainbow Grey, Droplett Dewbells and Snowden Everfreeze for their final adventure in the skies.
Once my nose was in this book I just could not put it down, I was reading at every chance I had (even under my covers at 10pm one night) Laura had captivated me again with her wonderful storytelling.
When Tornado comes back and destroys the sunflower, Ray and her friends need to find Earth forever crystal and the Sky forever crystal to stop Tornado and to leave the skies in peace once and for all.
We meet Woodlings (forest people) and a new friend along the way, but when both the Weatherlands and Earth are in danger it is up to Ray to save them. Can she do it before all is lost?
A magnificent finale to the series and it is full of magic in every possible way.

This is a truly amazing colourful story - fast-paced and full of excitement from the very beginning! A story that does not disappoint at all! I thoroughly enjoyed reading Ray's journey to find Forever Crystals, how she helped solved the problem with the Sun and how she found more Rainbow Weatherlings like her! She is such a wonderful character! I also love her family and friends who stood by her at all times giving her love and support! If only I had a wonderful cloud creature too! Lol!

A truly wonderful story you don't want to miss!

What a charming lovely trilogy for 9-12 year olds. Laura Ellen Anderson has created simply lovable characters, Rainbow Grey and her friends Snowden and Droplett.
This series highlights friendship, believing in yourself, overcoming adversity, love for you family and community, dealing with grief (I cried hard in book 2) and some laugh out loud moments. She is also the artists who drew all the beautiful illustrations throughout the books. Highly recommend

I really enjoyed this middle grade fantasy. It’s so cute. The plot is well throughout and beautifully written. The world building is really imaginative and described in such a way that it makes you feel like you are there. I love the language and character names are linked to weather related words. For example, ‘fog off’. I love the atmosphere. The characters are all loveable. I really would love more books in this world.

I absolutely enjoyed my time reading the Rainbow Grey trilogy 💙 It’s so fun, wholesome and magical 🌈 I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, but if I has read this as a child it would have been my whole personality 🌸

Now I want to read everything the author has written. If you want a fun, fast-paced, cozy and magical story then I definitely recommend this! ✨

This is a great fun book to round out the story of Rainbow magic.
There were several little plotlines that have all come together over the course of the series and it's great to see them come to frustration.
The magic system is very interesting and strange, let's hope that people don't forget about Rainbow magic again, as it literally can save the day.

I love all rainbow grey books, I would definitely recommend this book for 6yrs to 11yrs. The only downfall was that there is no secuel to this book. But still five out of five stars. 🌈⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
