Keeping our existence a secret protected the pack. Now the wrong people know about us. That’s the reason the Alphas and I have been abducted to be hunted for sport, but we have no intention of going down without a fight.
Escape seems nearly impossible once it becomes apparent that we’ve been betrayed by those that we once considered allies and many of our secrets have been exposed.
If we are to survive this, we need our pack.
With the disappearance of the Alphas, Sky has become the Elite Alpha. Sky has always been the pack’s heart but she’ll have to become darker and more ruthless to help us.
I have no doubts that Sky will rise to the challenge but I know it will come at a price. As my mate, I’d give my life to protect hers and I know she’d do the same. That’s the problem. The cost of our safety might be more than I’m willing to pay.
Midnight Eternal is Ethan’s POV of Midnight Sky (Sky Brooks Series Book 7) with added scenes and storylines. It can be read alone, but reading Midnight Sky first will enhance your reading experience.
McKenzie Hunter is the author of urban fantasy, dark fantasy, and paranormal romance books. She discovered early that new adventures were just a page-turn away; all she had to do was read a book. She’s had her share of escapades from hanging out with vamps, joining the chaos of shifter packs, creating spells with witches, and avoiding deals with the fae.
When she isn't working on her next book, she’s reading, binge-watching TV, or disappearing into her own world during nature walks (probably on the lookout for magical beings—or maybe not).

SO many epic moments the brothers can do when they're not fighting but what made this better then Skylar's book 7 were all of Ethan's epiphanies. Realizing his need to change the way he treat his brother and Skylar, as adults obviously. The depth of his feelings for Skylar and commitment. How much he actually wanted the marriage even when they're mated. The hope of having a child and building a family. I've read his vows on Skylar's book, of course, but reading it on his POV made me tear up. It was very heartfelt, deep, and full of emotion. Ethan's character development was amazing in his POV.
I wouldn't say that one series is better than the other but I definitely enjoyed but some installments, I definitely enjoyed Ethan's version more than Skylar's and vice versa. They both had epic moments in each book so they all weren't too far off. But I sure do appreciate Ethan's monologues after reading Skylar. I think, if I read Ethan's first, I would probably hate Skylar's attitude. 😂
I am a huge McKenzie Hunter fan because of her story lines, character development and world building. Loved the Sky Brooks series but always thought Ethan was quite the beta hole. However, the books written from his point of view really changed my mind. I feel like I got to know him and his backstory which explains so much of his behaviors. But this final book was just amazing, it had me laughing during his interactions with Trent and David, crying and swooning with his interactions with Sky and Sage. It gave closure of Ethan and Sky's place with the midwest pack and answered questions that I still had after the Sky Brooks Series. Great job!
What a bittersweet ending to my fav series of all time. 😍😭 It was such a good story and phenomenal ending, but it also means it's over. Like, well and truly done. The Sky Brooks world is finished and that makes me incredibly sad. This last book in the story was an absolute page turner. The action starts immediately, and seeing that action from Ethan's pov is a lot more jacked up than from Sky's original pov. It has a perfect HEA, which has left room for a continuation of the world in future from another's eyes, even if there are no plans to continue it. A lot of big, heart melting life events in this for Ethan and Sky too, which had me reading the story like a damn emoji...this one. 😍😍😍 So I guess this is goodbye to my fav series! 😭 Thank you for bringing such a wonderful and enchanting story to my life. 😘
Fitting end for the series. Although parts of this followed too closely along to the Sky Brooks novel in descriptive words (ex: both Sky and Ethan commenting on Sky's round face and doe eyes), this one was so closer to being its own novel than the two before. Tying up all the loose ends made this feel like 3-4 novellettes combined into one book, but overall, it was enjoyable and brought closure to Ethan's story.
Last book in the sky series from Ethan her mate. I would of liked his view in the same book every other chapter or so.because it's a 're read of the same story and you have to go back and follow the journey again and its also remembering what happened in order.I like how this author did not make it a complete 're read because Ethan is beta and a Lawler he also is always thinking of sky and running around trying to make her life better, so there is more information to give in this series. There is a HEA but I would of liked more of that and the ending did not have a huge dramatic finish with the bad guys. I also wondered why could sky not live without Maya? Her mother was attacked by a vampire while pregnant and sent Maya to sky to save her, but once born and of age that she has her werewolf power to heal well she should not need a host long before then, yes she lives because her host saved her as a baby but she herself is a wolf and a witch.she should be able to live without her and Ethan only had a host to do the spell to save Josh, why could they not remove the hosts.I found it odd we never went there and to me it never added up.this supernatural storyline is very different to most pack story's the mating very different, plus not focused on finding mates.it's about protecting the pack.but with one love story, I would of liked more love story's there was a few in the background. Not sure if sage with get her own story, that way we can return to these characters as the parents would be interesting hope she has a brother two.
Midnight Eternal (Sky Brooks World: Ethan Book 7) ❤️🔥❤️
Midnight Eternal (Sky Brooks World: Ethan Book 7) ❤️🔥❤️❤️🔥❤️ This is the 7th and final-book in the companion series to the Sky Brooks Series. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE ❤️ THIS BOOK 📖!!!! This series retells the story from Ethan's point of view. I have loved 🥰 the collaboration with the other authors. This series is such a much greater depth to Ethan’s character. I have had so mu h fun 🤩 becoming familiar with what motivates Ethan and I like his character even more. There were many scenes which Sky wasn’t involved in and we get to see what Ethan was doing when they weren’t together. It was a pleasure to dive into this world. These books are a fantastic companion to the original series and really enhance this love story for the readers. 💕💕 The series is getting better and better with each book! I definitely recommend this series / books and the audible books.
Omg ! I love Sky and Ethan. I loved reading Ethan's POV, it catches any little things we might have missed in the series of Sky Brookes I love seeing it through his eyes after watching it all in Sky’s. Great characters. A wonderful storyline if you love shifters. Thank McKenzie Hunter for this great series. I love all her books. I can’t say it enough, You just get so much more about Sky and Ethan. It bittersweet to have to finally let go of Sky and Ethan,Josh, Sebastian and all the others . A wonderful storyline if you love shifters. Thank McKenzie Hunter for this great series. I love all her books., but I can’t wait for Steven book. Make sure to read this epic story in order. I know, I’m going to do a reread going book for book with both Sky and Ethan.
I really, really enjoyed reading Ethan's story and seeing his progress. The book felt a little slow for me at parts but that's also because the book is really long since a lot happens. It's great to see Sky's and Ethan's character arcs come to a conclusion and the life they've built for themselves. Seeing the badass Sky's become from Ethan's eyes is incredibly fulfilling. The depth of the love he has for her makes him very endearing. He matured a lot emotionally and it shows in his relationships with Sky, Josh, Sebastian, the rest of the pack and even his coworkers at his human job. Well done. I'm a little sad to see the Sky Brooks end but I am sure I will be revisiting it quite often.
I loved being able to get such a better understanding of Ethan from his books, and I actually think I like them better then Skys, but they are both amazing. We get to see all his depth and love for Sky that we only got small glimpses of from her POV, and these books were so greatly intertwined it felt like Sky's story was preparing us for Ethans POV and there were some parts I was like "Oh that's why he did that?!?" I fell more in love with these books thanks to Ethans POV and will continue to read these over and over again. Full of laughs, suspense , love, and family bonds.
This POV is amazing! I it was riviting to read Ethan's insight and it adds a dimension to the Sky Brook's series that in my mind is a must read.
I was absolutely blown away by the depth of Ethan's feelings for Sky and how much their relationship has changed him as he learns to trust his mate and relinquish his tightly wound control.
I honestly can't say enough about this book it is absolutely amazing and compliments the original series so well.
I highly recommend this book for any fan of the Sky Brooks series.
A masterpiece! This completes the Sky Brooks Series and Ethan’s point of view. I cannot recommend this series high enough. Absolutely a must read series. I fell in love with each and every character. Seeing things from Ethan’s point of view showed so much insight into his character and the depth of his feelings for Sky snd Sage! I hate that this series ended because all the characters became family. McKenzie Hunter is an excellent author and her character development is too notch! Read this series! You will not regret it!!!
I feel so accomplished to have finished this 14 book series (both POVS) Always enjoy Ethan’s POV and There were some things that i missed of Sky’s that i completely understood in his version. Love how much Sky changed Ethan for the better , Loved their wedding their pregnancy how everyone falls for Little T ! everything turned out right in the world !
Do I wish to learn the outcome of Little T being able to use magic while in wolf form yes of course even Josh’s proposal but i guess that’s all left to ones Imagination.
I absolutely adore this series. Ethan book 7 brought me back into the Sky Brooks World from word one. There is action, family connection, love and humour. I am always amazed at McKenzie Hunters way with words and how they just flow so smoothly. I don’t want to put in any spoilers in my review but once you start reading you won’t be able to put this down. So settle in and grab a copy of this book and enjoy. Happy Reading!
Fantastic book, well written and I love the twists and turns. I always feel sorry for them with the situations that arise in the pack. I am so pleased they are now mated and married with a baby girl to. Sage seems amazing and I think she is going to do amazing things, just like her mumma. Well worth reading, I have love all of the series from Skylars to Ethan’s pov. I highly recommend reading them all! Fantastic series!!!
Darkness revealed definitely does not disappoint. I can't decide now which is my favorite in the series they're all so good. It seems like every time the next one comes out that becomes my favorite . Once I started reading it was so fast-paced and intriguing I could not put the book down. Loving Ethans point of view on telling the story this final book. Definitely recommend reading!
I actually enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. I’m not a big fan of reading a book strictly from the perspective of another character. Kind of like knowing others thoughts in the same book. Was intrigued enough with Ethan, though, to give it a shot. It was actually pretty good. Not a complete copy of first book. Still not a fan of that, but am glad I read this. Pretty good story.
Emotional roller coaster! This book gave a whole different perspective on the "Sky Brooks World". The relationship development between Ethan, Sky, and Josh is a real tear jerker. Seeing the world through the eyes of Ethan made him more relatable and made me love him as a character even more. I had loved and hated him from before, but this novel made it all love with no room for hate. Such a well written novel!
You will see Ethan deal with Cole, attacks against the pack, his upcoming wedding to Sky. There are so many new details that add to the story original told in the last Sky Brooks book. I didn't want to go into to details because anything could spoil it for the reader. Once you start reading this book, you will not be able to put it down. I highly recommend reading this book
I can’t say it enough, but man I love Ethans’ POV. You just get so much more than you do with Sky. It bittersweet to have to finally let go of Sky and Ethan, but I can’t wait for Stephens book. Make sure to read this epic story in order. I know, I’m going to do a reread going book for book with both Sky and Ethan.
I love the Sky Brooks world and I have loved getting to see Ethan's POV, especially in this final book of the series, as so much happens! Ethan had a lot of growth throughout the series and I feel like this book, in particular, shows so much depth to him. Plus we get some new scenes, which is awesome.
As sad as I am to leave this world once again , seeing it all wrapped up though Ethan's eyes is great way to finish . I love how the character building and excitement never stop and finding out so more about the Midwest packs story from this perspective !
Honestly when I started reading the series with Sky ..I had a hard time getting into the series but I ended up loving it! I loved reading Sky's point of view and I loved Ethan's point of view more! I loved getting to know Ethan more and what made him the way he was! Such a good series so worth the read!!
I started this series when it was first released and loved the SkyBrooks World. Seeing everything from Ethans eyes made me love it even more. Idk how McKenzie does it but she wrangles such emotions from her books and characters. I’m so happy with how this ended.
A great finish to an awesome series. It ties up things nicely with the storylines. While giving you hope for more future spin off /continuations! Plenty of fun, humorous, & wonderful scenes with plenty of actions interspersed. Overall a good ending. Not too rushed in the ending & a nice round off.
After reading from Sky's perspective I love reading the story through Ethan's perspective. Plus it fills in some gaps that Sky didn't know. Great job from these authors. Always a pleasure to be sucked into this world.
I've enjoyed reading this book a second time. Ethan is one of my.most favourite heroes and I have been waiting on his point of view of this book for so long. I've enjoyed the series all over again
I love all of Ethan's POVs. It really brings a better perspective into the story and the characters when you have it from both sides. Sad this is the last in the series because it was amazing.
Ethan and Sky decide to have a wedding. David and Trent plan the wedding. Threat of Mond to expose the weres, has them searching for a barrier or a way to render it ineffective. Sky is pregnant, and her life is threatened by Rayna, Liam Abigail and Mason.
Again, I couldn’t put the book down! I am sorry that this series ended with Book 7. Even though McKenzie did a short story, I would love to see some of the supporting characters expanded in future books.
The truest of lovers, Ethan and Skylar think about having a family. This brings the greatest fear of everyone. Will they be murdered in their sleep or will life turn out to be the happiest a couple could be?
