Until the age of six I was raised and “trained” to be a stone-cold killer. Unfortunately, for my parents, that wasn’t who I was. They cut their losses with me when I was six, just before my sister was born. I was dropped off on my Gran’s doorstep and told I was defective.

For the next 20 years I lived in a town called Sanctuary, a refuge for the lost and persecuted. I held no illusions of my future; I was born to die and had made my peace with that. And then I met him.

Rafe was everything I secretly wished for and everything I knew I could never have. He didn’t agree. As hard as I tried, I couldn’t fight the bond between us. Suddenly, I can see a future for myself, and I’ll do whatever it takes to seize it.
My parents and sister are coming to claim my life, but I won’t be going as quietly as they expected.

Dark Moon is an adult dark paranormal romance. This book contains explicit language and graphic sex scenes, all consensual, intended for audiences of 18+. This is a reverse harem building series which means at the end of the series the main character will have more than one love interest. The author highly suggests this series be read in order to get the full experience. The series will end with a happily ever after. This book contains a CNC scene and themes of trauma from past child abuse and attempted sexual assault that some readers may find triggering. If you like a sassy FMC and a sweet, sexy wolf shifter, this book is for you. This is book two in the series.

Sexy Shifters, oh my!!!

The adventure continues in the second installment of N.A. Jamenson's The Prophecy Series, Dark Moon. The surprising shocks don't stop as we journey back to find Alana meeting her first mate. Just when you think you know what's going to happen 💥BAM💥 Jameson rocks you with a twisty turn that will leave you gasping!

This time we get a community filled with all kinds of supernaturals who have come together in a remote town, for one reason or another, seeking refuge. We get to learn more about the Prophecy, as Alana comes to terms with what it means for her.

We find Alana meeting her first mate Rafe, a sexy protective shifter, and his wolf, the sweet sensitive just as protective Koda. I didn't think I could like any of her mates as much as I did Malekei from Book 1, Dark Spirits, but oh how wrong I was! I fell in love with Rafe and Koda almost immediately. Thay are perfect!💜

Alana and Rafe's dynamic is smoulering hot. He's so intune with her feelings, and caring. However, he can also be a red hot alpha boss! Just wait til you read the hunt scene!🥵🥵🌶🌶🌶🌶 Koda and Alana are so sweet and loving. He protects her fiercely.

Alana, Rafe, and Koda join forces with some friends in town to try to figure out a way to defeat Summer, and the Prophecy. Grans back!! She's just as mysterious and awesome as before! We also meet Tank and Griz, bear shifter brothers, who have Alana's back completely. We can't forget sweet, fierce Clover, Alana's wild pet fox, who is so clever, and a hero in his own right.

Book 2 was just as amazing and thrilling as the first one. Book 3 here I come!!!
Highly Recommend!

I love what NA has done with this book. Thought book 1 was pretty good but this is even better. I'm here for all the supernaturals who are in this book and the prophecy. Is it new the story? Yes and no. The way NA does it absolutely and that makes this a must read series to me. Alana is reintroduces to us and lives her life happy and in solitude. Not wanting to keep anyone close enough but when she meets Rafe it seems the bond between them isn't something you can deny. The caracters are well written and feel like people who you can talk to and I love that. The emotions they go through and all I felt right along. I love shifter romance and if you do to you'll enjoy this one for sure!

Even though you know how it is going to end this book still makes you feel all the things. I loved how devoted and loving Rafe was from the beginning. He helped Alana see what a bad b*tch she was and unleashed her potential. Alana is the same and yet so different this time around. I love how this series is set up and I am on to Dark Heart.

This takes us back to Alan's 'first" timeline life. LOVED Rafe and Clover 🦊. Hooked. Curious how these all tie back to book 1 and the conclusion. Never read anything like this. Unique concept.

Well N.A. Jameson, you are brilliant and incredibly evil.

Honestly, I held off on reading book 2 because I fell in love with Alana and Maleki in book 1 and I wasn't sure if I could see her with someone else. I was mistaken, Rafe and Alana were just as special as Maleki and Alana.

This has got to be one of the most unconventional reverse harems I've ever read and I'm loving it. It's a build-as-you-go. In books one and two, Alana met her mates in different parallel universes. Unusual right? Well, it gets more out there. A prophecy hangs over Alana's head and it says she must die. Her grandmother cast a spell to save her granddaughters knowing that the result would end with them battling out, one would be for evil and one for good. Cleverly though she put in a loophole that meant Alana (the good one) would get multiple chances to win the day. However, she didn't foresee what would happen when Alana met her mates.

There are two more books to come where Alana meets more of her mates and succumbs to the prophecy before we get the gang together, so to speak.

I don't know how she did it but even knowing the outcome of the story, it did not ease the pins and needles I sat on while reading this book. Also building an individual relationship in each book has been done in such a way that you love Alana with each man. I can't wait for them all to come together but I look forward to Alana finding her other mates still to come.

Amazing work N.A. This series has me hooked and aching for more.

Alana lived a horrible life for the first six years of her life. Her parents tortured and tormented her in hopes of turning her into the evil being they wanted. With her mother due to birth her second child, she gives up on Alana deeming her weak and useless, dumping her with her mother, Alana's grandmother.

Almost twenty years later the prophecy is nearing the date where it all falls into place. Alana will be killed by her sister and the prophecy will be fulfilled. She has lived her life trying to be the best person she can be and make the lives of others special knowing her time is limited. The small town of Sanctuary where many different types of specials live has been her happy place minus the yearly visit of her mother and sister to remind her of her place.

With only weeks to go, Alana meets Rafe, a wolf shifter. The moment they are close they know that they are true mates. Alana runs from Rafe, she can't see herself getting close to someone else just before her life is ended. She doesn't want to cause anyone any extra pain. Rafe doesn't give up easily though. He's determined to have his mate and never let her go. Prophecy be damned. If she won't fight for herself then he will fight for her.

Once Alana gives into not only letting Rafe in but the determination to fight for her life she realizes that not only will Rafe go to the ends of the earth for her, but most of the town is behind her determined to fight right alongside her.

When the fight comes Alana will give it her all, knowing Rafe loves her and always will.

"I love you so much, Alana, more than words could ever possibly express. Thank you for choosing me, for choosing to be my mate. I promise to treasure you and take care of you every day of our lives." I reached up and stroked his face, his head tilting into my touch. "I love you too, Rafe, so much more than I ever thought possible. I never expected to love to be loved like this."

Happy Reading.

After reading the first book and knowing what would happen I didn’t think I could be shocked. This book however kept me on my toes and pulled at my heartstrings. I enjoyed reading about Alana’s first life and can’t wait to read the next one.

I was nervous going in because I thought there was no way I could love anyone as much as Mal with Alana. And then I met Rafe. Omg! This is such an interesting series and I can't wait to find out more. It is not your typical slow building harem and even though by book 2 you have a general idea of how it's going to work, you still get surprises. I'm excited to see how each book shows a different side of Alana and of course each new man.

This series keeps getting better and better for me. This building reverse harem series is not like anything I've ever read before, and, quite frankly, I cannot get enough of it - vampires, werewolves, witches and a daunting prophecy is just the tip of the iceberg.

We're reintroduced to Alana who is living in Sanctuary with her beloved Gran who took her in after being shunned by her parents and labeled as "a dud". Living her whole life believing she would only live until her sister turned 20 due to an age old prophecy, she resigned herself making the world a better place for as long as she was in it...

Well, until she meets Rafe. Rafe is quite possibly the sweetest, overprotective alpha wolf out there. Koda, his wolf, also has a distinct personality. He arrived into town and immediately upon seeing Alana recognized her as his mate... despite Alana insisting she doesn't want to get too close to anyone, the mate bond clicks into place. Will she be able to resist the bond? And will their new bond be enough to overcome the prophecy?

First, the character development, world building and writing style in this series really bring words to life; the depth of emotion I feel for these characters isn't normal - I laugh, I cry, I love, I hate... I cannot sing enough praise to the author for being able to elicit such strong feelings. I absolutely love Alana, especially her punny side - Rafe can "talk curd-y to me" any day! We saw another side of Alana in this story - although she never fully lost her innate self, we saw the lengths she was willing to go for the people that she loves. Rafe is what dreams are made of... I fell for them right alongside Alana in this tale. I really enjoyed the unique perspectives of each Rafe and Koda - they were the same, but not... This dramatic tale really stands out among the books out there and I highly recommend it to all you paranormal romance readers looking for something a little different. You will not regret it!

Dark Moon is the story of a prophecy.  How meeting a fated mate can change everything.  Alana is the good girl, living on borrowed time because her sister will kill her to fulfill the prophecy.  However, when she meets her mate, she begins to see a life after the prophecy.  Is their love enough to conquer all?
I loved the characters in this book.  Alana is sweet and compassionate but also strong and fierce.  It is incredible watching her come alive and determined to survive and have a life with her mate Rafe.  Rafe is excellent; he is supportive and always knows what she needs.  The town of Sanctuary, created by Jameson, is the type of town where you want to raise kids.  Everyone knows everyone, and they all have each other's back, well almost everyone.  They are magical creatures in a human world that have to hide to survive, and often the supernaturals cannot trust each other.
I wish Jameson had told readers more about the prophecy.  I'm not sure if she was vague on purpose and there is something in the prophecy that would be a spoiler for the story or if she didn't want the focus on the prophecy, but it did drive me nuts not to understand it better.
I gave this book 4 out of 5 stars.  It has a fantastic plot, and Jameson's concept with the series is something I've never seen done before, and I look forward to reading the rest of the series.  I don't want to give away too much and spoil it for new readers, but she relies on characters and world-building skills to create a fantastic series that spans time and space. I would classify this as a medium burn build-a-harem where the reverse harem adds with each book.  There are some pretty steamy scenes between Alana and Rafe, making it about a 4 out of 5 on a spicy scale.
I recommend this book for adults that enjoy paranormal romance and reverse harems where the female main character doesn't have to choose just one guy.  There are some pretty graphic sex scenes to enjoy.  However, be aware there are a few triggers. First, Alana was abused by her parents at a young age, and this is a theme brought up fairly frequently in the book.  Then there is one consensual non-consensual scene where a chase ends with Rafe taking her against her will.  There is a safe word if she changes her mind and wants him to stop.
Finally, there is an attempted rape scene that ends violently for the attacker.

Dark Moon is book 2 in The Prophecy series and is a reverse harem, paranormal, shifter series. It has everything I look for in a PNR romance - vampires, werewolves, witches and a destiny prophecy that keeps you reading on.
Alana is a vampire who is sassy and compassionate towards others. She is smart and strong, but also kind. A prophecy has her living under a limited number of years until her sister is 20 and she’s is 26. She has resigned herself to fulfilling this, thinking her life is over. Because of this prophecy she keeps mainly to herself, not allowing herself to make strong connections. That is until Rafe moves to the small town of Sanctuary.
Rafe is a hot, dominant, alpha wolf shifter, who is Alana’s true mate. Koda, his wolf, is loving, protective and sweet. While Alana tries to push them away, fearing that it will break them when the prophecy comes true, Rafe pursues Alana and they build an unbreakable commitment and bond to each other.
This story has it all - action, smutty times and love and family. The characters are so well written and their personalities so relatable, you can picture them as a real being. And Koda is so deserving of his nickname, being so loving and sweet. The plot has some twists and turns that you didn’t see coming and it makes for an exciting page turner. I can’t wait for the next instalment in this series!

The way I devoured this book! N.A Jameson done it again, I absolutely loved this book.

Dark Moon is Book #2 in The Prophecy series, it's a paranormal, shifter, reverse harem series. It has vampires, witches, and werewolves and a destiny prophecy that keeps you up late reading.

Alana, is a sassy and compassionate vampire. A prophecy has her living on borrowed time until her sister turns 20. Because of this prophecy, she doesn't allow herself to make any sort of lasting connections and keeps to herself, as she believes her life is over as soon as her sister is of age.

Then Rafe, who is a dominant, alpha wolf, moves to town and is Alana's fated mate. Alana pushes Rafe and his wolf Koda away, fearing they will suffer heartache when the prophecy is fulfilled. Rate continues to pursue Alana. Despite her best efforts, her and Rafe build a strong and unbreakable commitment to one another.

This book has everything you could want from action to the smutty scenes. The characters are very well written and the plot has some unexpected twists and turns that like I said, will keep you up all night reading, because you just have to know what happens next.

10/10 definitely recommend this series and I can't wait to start the third installment.

This is book 2 in the prophecy series and have to say I love the change that NA Jameson made and we are now being introduced into not only her past lives but each of her mates. This story focuses on Rafe – werewolf shifter and Koda (the wolf personality). We get to see a different side to Alana and from the offset she already is aware of the prophecy and is not willing to let anyone close but that all changes when Rafe makes a point of not letting her be and is as protective as you would expect from a wolf shifter and would do anything to protect her even it means going against her.

I absolutely loved Rafe and lets me honest who wouldn’t, a shifter biker and then we have Koda who is just sweet and funny and I love how we have the interactions between him and Rafe. When talking about this story to, we can not forget about Clover the fox – her best friend.

NA Jameson is amazing how she is delved into Book 2 of the series and although it is different as we are getting new characters and the development of Alana it is still the same, she has just built on the foundation of book 1 by building the overall picture.

As a warning to readers, this series is a RH BUT it is a build as you go harem. The harem aspect won’t really get a lot of page time until later in the series. Not trying to be spoilerish but I love how the author has crafted this entire story with the parallel lives and how Alana finds each of her true mates in those parallel lives. That may be my favorite part about this series honestly because I know I get to see a whole other life story and a new mate in each book.

The connection and relationship Alana had with her sister in this book was a lot different than what we saw in book 1 but again, each book focuses on a different parallel life of Alana. So even though the generally premise is the same with the ultimate showdown being between the 2 sisters all for the sake of a prophecy, the journey to that point has each been very unique and different from one another.

I highly recommend this series and will definitely continue to read the next book. It is truly unlike any other prophecy book/good vs evil book I’ve read before.

This story definitely gives Reverse Harem new meaning. I didn't think I would recover from the ending of Book one but Dark Moon provides more understanding of how the series will go. Watching the prophecy unfold in a different setting and seeing Alana and Summer's relationship play out completely opposite from before was an adjustment but very intriguing. Just when I thought no one could match the relationship between Alana and Maleki here comes Rafe and their connection is just as powerful. The bond they share along with the addition of Koda was magical and Clover is absolutely too adorable. Now that we see how the prophecy will continue to play out I'm so excited to see Alana's other lives and loves. Although we sort of know what's going to happen in each book the fact that the author can still make it new, and refreshing, while still leaving us in shock is the mark of an amazing writer. Kudos to N. A. Jameson for another awesome book and I'm getting ready to dive into the next one.

Alana suffered so much abuse by her parents until they dropped her off at Gran's when she was six. They moved to Sanctuary, had a bakery and were loved by the town. Alana is a kind soul, a vampire, and helped wherever she could. She also has a deadline with the prophecy and knows she is going to die when her little sister turns 20.
Rafe is the new shifter in town and realized when Alana was near that she is his mate. And Alana is doing everything she can to discourage a mate connection, until she decides it's time to live and dream of a life together.
Even though I read the series out of order, I am so glad I went back and read this one. Our author is an amazing storyteller, with well developed characters and world building. I'm glad for more background on the other books I have read. There are plot twists, danger, spies, a fox, and Gran, your ideal Gramma, and a prophecy that is unbelievable.

I must be honest, I'm running to complete the series because the very last book, #5, is already available, and I can't wait to get there and see how it ends (it's called cheating, I know, but sue me :-) )
Dark Moon is book #2 in The Prophecy Series, and if you are familiar with Alana and her story, you probably know that each book is a different, parallel life and a different mate. Yes, it's quite original the way N.A. is building Alana's RH, and I love it.
I loved every single word of Alana's and Rafe's story. In the story's timeline, Rafe is Alana's first mate, and the end prepares the bases for all the other stories.
You'll find action, a rollercoaster of emotions, smut, violence, friendship, abuse, betrayals, and N.A. Jameson continues to make an amazing job with the Series
I'm already starting book #3, and can't wait to finally get to the HEA (hopefully in book #5)....
100% recommended!!!!

The second book of The Prophecy series continues the tale of two sisters, Alana and Summer, who are set against each other with the future of the supernatural world at stake. In this iteration of her life, Alana is joined by Rafe, the sweet and loving wolf shifter who is her fated mate. Alana has lived her whole life for other people, always doing what was best for her community. We will have to find out if they will stand with her when she needs it most.

Rafe was the absolute best mate someone could ask for. He was patient and thoughtful, but also determined to stick by and love Alana the best he possibly could. I enjoyed Gran in this book, as well. She raised Alana for most of her life and would do anything at all for her. The town was full of characters that stood out, whether you loved them or hated them. And of course there was Alana's birth family, her mother and father who are the worst of the worst.

This story will keep you guessing until the end and it doesn't pull any punches, so be prepared for it to get dark. This was a good continuation of Alana's story.

Dark Moon Review:

Spiciness Rating: 4/5 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Overall Rating: 3/5 ⭐⭐⭐

This book was given to me as an ARC in return for an honest review.

This is the second book in the Prophecy series and I absolutely adored Rafe and Koda! I thought he was such an amazing character. I loved their internal relationship and how they interacted with one another and gave each other shit. For me this version of Alana frustrated me. I didn’t like how pacifistic she was until it was too late. I wish that she had had more backbone. That being said I can understand how this was her first life that she had a lot to learn and mistakes had to be made. I felt this was a character building book, you know where the character has to grow up and become who she was meant to be. I cannot wait to see how Alana grows throughout the series and see how the ultimate battle will unfold.

omg this book , i had no idea how dark spirits could be topped , i thought that after reading that one that id sort of be prepared for partly what would happen in this book , what i expected to happen did happen but absolutely not when i expected it and when i thought id know what the huge shock would be it was absolutely not what i expected! this series sort of makes me think of twilight only as in the vampires and wolfs ( being jealous of other guys touching or going near the heroine) but super hot and spicy and theres whole other sifters too like bears and a super funny fox , and omg when the heroine gets ready for battle , what she wears ! i loved the whole rafe and his inner wolf koda ! and omg the forest chase ! 🥵🥵🥵 nalla when ever you get to read this series im sure that youl love it !

Loved Clover

I loved the little Fox Clover. He was so clever and pivotal to the story. You wouldn't have thought much of the fox, but he turned out to be more.
Rafe and Koda were so adorable, I loved their inner dialogue. Koda and his scenting Alana to calm her or to just mark her when he felt like it was hilarious. I felt sometimes that he was more in control of Rafe than Rafe.
Alana has such a good soul through and through. The poor girl can't catch a break. She wants to be loved by her family, but she is too trusting. Demaris has done everything to prepare her for the prophecy, but nothing can prepare her for the actual day.
I'm loving these books and look forward to the next book in the series.

This book is about Alana’s first life and how she met her first me Rafe. This book gives us more of a look into the background of the prophecy, Alana, Gran, Summer, and their parents. In this life, Gran gets custody of Alana at six; her being a huge disappointment to her parents. She is raised as a strong independent young woman who helps run a bakery in the town of Sanctuary. She already knows of the prophecy and is already a vampire; her sister is evil and raised by the parents. Alana is protective of the town and makes no bones about protecting those in it. It is a town full of supes of different species. The prophecy is on its way to fulfillment but Gran has added a loophole no one knew about. It is a sweet romance chock full of action. Now onto the next book~

In this book, Alana has a new mate. This time it is an alpha wolf named Rafe. There was a bit more of a build up between Rafe and Alana then there was with Maleki from the first book. Despite the slower romantic start, once these two got together, it was as if they had been together for decades.

Rage and Alana shared some really steamy moments together. Yet, it was not just physical but emotional as well. I actually liked Rafe a little more than Maleki. Alana has grown stronger in this book. She just might be able to take on her sister, Summer.

Just like the first book, I found this one to be a fast read. I can't wait to continue this series. I am invested in Alana and her various mates.

Even though we know how this books would end from book 1, N.A. Jameson did a fantastic job at still keeping the how a surprise. I won't lie, I almost cried at the end even knowing what we do.

First, I absolutely adore Clover and need more of him. Such a sweet and smart fox.

Second, I am so excited to see the meet all the mates throughout the series. Rafe is truly amazing and I loved the conversations between him and Koda.

Alana is truly such a strong character and having to go through all of this breaks my heart, but I am so ready for her to beat Summer.

I was not disappointed in the amount of steamy scenes, action, and heartfelt moments. I truly love these books and I am excited to read the remainder of the series.

So this is the first time I’ve read a series like this, where each book is dedicated to one member of the harem only, but I’ve REALLY enjoyed it. It’s allowed more time to get to know each one, and I can’t wait til the fifth book when they all come together. In this book, Alana is a vampire who was deemed not good enough by her parents, and has just been counting down the days until her death. Until she meets her mate, Rafe. I ADORE Rafe, but the real scene stealer in this book is Clover, Alana’s fox friend. This book has laughs and a great story. But just like the first book, it had me in tears. That won’t keep me from starting the next one asap.

Ohhhh Emmmm Geeeee!!! Ummm I cannot even begin to explain what is going on in like theeeeee best way possible!! It is like TVD mixed with True Blood and then some literally all wrapped in one!!! As much as I cried over Maleki I definitely had my heart mended by Rafe and Koda oh oh oh and definitely clover!! There’s so much more I want to say but I don’t want to because I do not want to give a single detail away. But that loop hole?!?! Gran I freakin love you so much!!

This is not your typical RH story. In this series we get to know the guys in separate books, set in parallel timelines. It’s definitely different than any RH I’ve ever read and I love it! In Dark Moon we get to meet Rafe, Alana’s first mate and his wolf Koda. Although I missed Maleki, I really enjoyed getting to see her relationship build with Rafe. Even though I started the book knowing how it would it end it still surprised me. I really enjoyed this book and I can’t wait to meet her next mate!

This was so freaking good! 💯👌 It definitely went a different direction from what I thought it would with the ending of book 1. However, I am so not disappointed. What we get is the back story to how it all began, we were nearly taken to the beginning of Alana's life and the prophecy. You get to know who Alana is and her first mate Rafe, and his wolf Koda. Rafe and Koda were so adorable😍. So without giving any spoilers I 💯 percent recommend starting this series if you haven't already. There are so many great characters and I cannot wait for book 3 to meet Alana's next mate 🥰.

As this book continues the series it doesn’t miss a beat from book one to Dark Moon. The way the harem is being built is just phenomenal. It has all the supernaturals you could ask for in a story. Vampires, Witches and Werewolves. Alina is living in Sanctuary with her Grandma. Her Gran took her in when her parents kicked her out for not being magical. The guys help her realize she is stronger than she thought and shows her to stand up for herself. I can’t wait for the next book

so many emotions

Wow! This book was great ! It made me giggle and it even made me cry and rejoice. I can’t get over Alana’s luck though and that awesome fox clover. Some people even in books tend to get the worst parents. I was thrilled when she met her mate Rafe and all the spicy scenes they had and that’s as far as I’m going with that lol. I’m so glad I read this book and I can’t wait to catch the next book in this series.
