Rate this book
A Mexican-American podcaster and pawnshop owner goes back in time to try to stop the European invasion of the New World. This isn't some cutesy time-traveling story with skateboards and DeLoreans but this story is what you might do if you knew it could be done. He's going locked and loaded! Book 3 in the Time Finder series. After you read this book, you might think it isn't fiction but a true story. Memorable characters and well-researched althistory will have you riveted to your seat as you explore what could have been if only the Native Americans would have had more firepower.

Wow! This book will definitely make you think! Chuy, a Mexican American pawn shop owner, has obtained crystals that will allow him to travel back in time. He gets the idea to change history, when the Spanish invade and conquer his ancestors, and puts his plan into motion. Knowing his main objective is to kill De Soto. But when he is there and earning the trust of the Aborigines, he is surprised to find that it isn’t just the Aztecs that the Spanish was set to conquer. Is it possible to change history? Or has history already been changed, or re-set. Each time Chuy failed, he had another idea, another possibility to save his ancestors, but he also had Spanish blood , so would he be saving or destroying his history? Maybe all of our history has been re-set through time. How do you know whether your own life has been readjusted..multiple times? How do you know whether the reality you are currently experiencing is reality? Maybe it is best for your sanity just to accept where you and who you are and live out your remaining life in this this timeline. I really enjoyed this book, but I did have to stop and think about it, it will definitely make your mind think…what if!
