These stories were all unknown to me and they were all interesting and different- I was really pleased to find something new from Agatha Christie.

Christie's late novels have a particular flavour. Characters face a cosmpolitan society they no longer fully grasp, and this society is even more cryptic when "occult" political forces are scheming to take over in the name of Nazi ideology. Christie seems to confess her fear of things to come, or is it the fear of aging and being left behind? Some chapters are excellent, pure "Christie", others turn out to be a rambling mess. But we still love the Queen of Crime, don't we?

Didn't really finish all the four stories in this book. I think Agatha Christie wrote better with crime mysteries than spy mysteries.
