Puck is missing, Maggie might be on our side, and Bree disappeared on us once again. On the plus side, I'm getting a lot of help in the magic department, and while it isn't easy, I finally feel like I'm moving in the right direction.
Puck should be dead, or at the very least depleted of magic, but somehow he managed to get away, leaving Nat and Sybil reeling. Focusing on Nat's magic and trying to ignore the fact that Puck could show up at any moment, the girls try their best to finish out their senior year with a little bit of normalcy.
A cheesy prom-posal, anyone?
Prom should be fun, but when their worst enemy decides to chaperone and with the council breathing down their necks, Nat ends up under the jailhouse with no end in sight.
Join Nat & Sybil, along with the rest of the gang, as things really heat up in this coming-of-age paranormal adventure.
TRIGGER WARNING: If language, violence, and adult content are your cup of tea, this book is for you.
This book is action-packed, filled with magic, witches, and warlocks fighting for friendship and to beat an evil government entity. This paranormal fiction also combines a pinch of fantasy into the story. The ending of this book was surprising, and I have no idea what to expect next.
The prologue of this story continues without feisty pixie Bree. She is in pixie land, and we get more insight into this sassy heroine. After that eventful prologue, we jump to Nat and Sybil on earth. We get more clues as to the type of witch that Nat is, but they are like puzzle pieces throughout the story.
If you missed the steamy scenes and romance in the first few books, you won’t; in this one, the author makes up for it. Well, I thought this was going well, then it turned into a cluster. Sybil is more apprehensive in this book.
After a very action-packed rescue attempt, this book doesn’t end as I expected. I’m glad to see more heroines appearing in the storyline, but I have no idea what will happen next.
Councilwoman Wynn is obviously the one in charge of the witch council, but there is more to This Witch than meets the eye. Much unfolds thickening the pot of plot.
Nat is very popular, but it’s not the kind of popularity that adds to an ego or is even the least bit flattering. Nat is in hot demand by two opposing factions.
A flickering spark of danger must be extinguished before igniting into something that cannot be reversed.
The clock is ticking.
Ellie Aiden keeps the romance hot in between the moments providing chills.
Bubble, bubble ... nookie and trouble. This Witch is the fourth book in the Bitches to Witches series, and the adventure progresses with more twists and turns. I continue to love Ellie Aiden’s writing style: she always makes you feel part of the gang by the way the main characters narrate the story. It’s difficult to say much without spoilers ... there’s both good versus evil, and evil versus evil, as the plot develops with young witches Nat and Sybil centre stage. These two besties just want to finish high school and play doctors and nurses with their new boyfriends, but there appears no escaping from the struggles that they are caught up in. For Nat and Sybil, it’s like being stuck in a fight between Voldemort and the Ministry of Magic, while still finding time for a quickie! I hope the next part is along soon.
The hits keep coming for Nat, Sybil, Matt, Jayson, Lizzy Ann, Maggie and the Wilmington Coven. Not only is Puck a threat, but the council is gunning for Nat too. Determining who is the worst threat is not as simple as it seems.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This Witch is another wild ride. Nat struggles with doing the right thing, but the situation is a lot of more complex than just right and wrong. The threat of losing herself along the way is high. Sybil is going to Sybil and I wouldn’t have it any other way. She’s fiercely loyal and always looking for the best way to protect those she loves.
I loved the character development and watching Nat struggle with right and wrong, who to protect and what lengths she would go to achieve that goal. I’m excited to see where the story goes from here!
I really enjoyed book 4. I'm completely invested in this series. This one was more serious than the previous three, though there were still plenty of laughs from our feisty Sybil. Nat is coming into her own but is always willing to sacrifice her own self for the greater good. You have to love them both and they make the best duo. I wasn't sure what was going to end up happening in this book, and it did have some sad moments m, but I'm on the edge of my seat to see what happens in the next book. I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
