Can I just say that I love the club sin series. These books are the perfect length to get your share of smut, spice and plot. lol.
this particular book in the series is a revere harm, dark romance, mafia read.
definitely read the trigger warnings if you have triggers.
Sapphire is an amazing female main character. Loved her personality here. And i'm always a sucker for dark romance reverse harems. throw in a few kinks, and i'm sold.

This is a why choose, mafia romance. Elyah, Gregor, and Lev are all heads of the mafia and they have set their sights on Sapphire and have always desired her. Sapphire has been very attracted to them too. The problem is, she is from a rival family. But when they ask her to give them an heir, she is more than ready to sign the dotted line. This was a quick hot read with a load of steam. If you love reverse harem stories then I highly recommend this one.

Room Eight is the second book in Club Sin Chicago Session 1. A full-length standalone spicy romance complete with a happily-ever-after. A beautifully written story with four damage and broken individuals and a twisty and complex storyline that captures the reader attention from the first chapter and keeps you hooked and on the edge of your seat and turning the pages until the end. Elyah and his two best friends Lev and Gregor are three heads of the Southern Alliance. Elyah's dad did the best to rule over the Southern Alliance as did lev and Gregor father's. But after what happened to them they all lost parts of themselves. Elyah father's has a couple more weeks left before he die and all he wants before he died is the assurance that the empire that he has created and fought for through blood and sweat will be there long after he's gone. Therefore they have a lot to fix. The friends were kidnapped and tortured in retaliation against their fathers for killing the son of a rival mafia family. Elyah is very distrustful of everyone except for his two best friends and the way how he sees it Sapphire is killing two birds with one stone.
Elyah dad wants him to meet a woman marry her introduce to him before he dies. But men also has other plans like Elyah getting her pregnant and giving him at heir. By getting pregnant with Elyah's child Elyah would forged the ties with the men of Gensis. The Southern Alliance would also have the controlling hand. The guys knows that their actions would cause a fight from their men. Additionally, the Northern Alliance will not just sit by idle and allow them to take from them. They will come for blood. Mafia princess Sapphire Constantine has signed a contract to produce a heir for the three ruthless Bratva leaders only thing is she's from their rival family the Northern Alliance and deemed a forbidden fruit. The guys know that their men may want to push back against their decision of bringing her into their fold because a lot of them has loss family members to the Constantine in war. Lev and Gregor is worried that by bringing Sapphire into their camp that they will have bloodshed on their hands from their men But Elyah refuses to let anyone hurt her because they all signed their pledge in blood to protect her. If they can't respect their decisions then they will have to leave.
Sapphire has suffered a lot of losses and had even experience betrayal from father, pain and death as been her constant companion. Sapphire had been attracted to and craved Elyah, Lev, and Gregor for the past two years but couldn't do nothing about it. She's tired of her situation family which is created by her family. She wants to break away and do something for herself. One night her cousin and best friend Belle drags her along with her to Club Sin and that's where things changes in her life when Belle left her alone in a place to her own demise in a club where fantasies live. Because she caught the eyes of her family's rival the Southern Alliance and the three sexy as fuck men who runs it. Seeing the three men whom she can't have night after night rips her heart out. Because fantasies never comes through for her. But she's used to it because that wasn't something new. When she had accepted the invitation from Belle she thought that she could get a stiff drink, a dark place to think, and a hellacious orgasm. She know that she will get two out of three and the other was only wishful thinking on her part.
Sapphire is escrow holder for Club Gensis, the money is not hers, but she has access to millions at any given time of the day. Even with all that her life hasn't been peachy lately. She has protection in spade as long as she's the undertaker for the Northern Alliance with personal driver and bodyguards wherever she goes as well as a cousin Harlon and his two partners the men of Gensis who hardly let's her out of their sight. Sapphire dad had the job that she currently has until he ran off ten years ago with a ditzy hooker and everyone shunned her without a place or people to call her own. Her cousin gave her the job to help clear her name at Club Gensis. A club where they runners gets their assignments to track people from all walks of life who kidnapped, murder, human trafficking, etc. and kill them. But she doesn't want it all and doesn't know how to tell her cousin. Belle is in a reverse harem relationship at Club Sin that she doesn't want the family to know about so invite Sapphire to come and watch as a moral support system as Sapphire sits at the bar while she performs her sexual scenes on with her partners. As she plies herself with expensive tequilas with the scent of sex permeating the air all around her, her three temptations is a few feet away from her and all she wishes was for them to walk to her table steal her away to a room in Club Sin and screw her until she no longer knows her name.
Her fantasies is to wrapped babies in her arms, kiss a loving husband and feeling protected from the evil of the world. But she knows that they're nothing nut fairytales make believes. Even though the Northern Alliance and the Southern Alliance are rival Belle knew that her cousin had a crush on the men. She never really wanted Sapphire moral support. She had an ulterior motive in inviting her to Club Sin, she knows that her cousin wants to have a baby and husband. She overheard a couple of women who handle club contracts between members talking a week ago that the Southern Alliance are looking for a breeder that pays. Lev and Gregor approached Sapphire while she waited for her cousin and the two gave her some toe curling climax that she has never experienced before. She was so high off tequilas and orgasm that she agreed to be their breeder so that the Elyah Morozov can of a heir and baby will be theirs. She knew that there was going be a fall out because the Southern Alliance was family's enemies; and betrayal against Harlon but for once she had to reach out for the happiness that she yearned for, something that her cousin Belle has. Sapphire didn't give her cousin enough credit that he would understand and wish her happiness even though it was with the family's enemies.

It wasn't a very good story. There were a lot of issues with the female leads.
Spoilers galore... you have been warned!
There was no narrative reason for the female lead to be a virgin, especially not a twenty-five year old virgin, especially given she neither thought nor acted like a virgin. It just stretched the bounds of credibility from the get-go.
And she was too-stupid-to-live. Instead of doing everything above board and using it to create a solid Alliance between her family and theirs, putting her in a power seat, she sneaked behind her family's back, knowing it could cause the death of everyone involved, including her and her prospective unborn child. And it's not like she is some naive sheltered princess who doesn't understand the score, she works for the syndicate, for criky's sake, dealing with hit men, handing out kill contracts, ect; this is no innocent rose we are talking about.
And she's ignoble. She signed a contract. She made a deal. She did the deed. But then she decided to do a runner.
And she's a coward. The reason she decided to do a runner is because she is too scared to face her cousin and accept the consequence of her too-stupid-to-live actions.
And then, even after knowing she is definitely pregnant, she doesn't reach out to her cousin to present everything fait accompli in an effort to stop any misunderstandings and/or retaliation, no, she just has a lot of sex.
I don't expect my heroines to be perfect but I do expect them to use they brains and have at least some integrity.
There's no reason for these men to want this particular woman. She's not smart or strong or principled or caring, in fact she's a self-absorbed twit. The only thing she has going for her is her looks.
The men might all be selfish alphaholes but they still deserved better.
And the smut was pretty paint-by-numbers.

OK, BUT HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO WAIT UNTIL SEPTEMBER FOR MORE SAPPHIRE????? You can't just end on a cliff like that, then make me wait for months!
I love a good dark mafia romance, and this one hit a lot of the notes. I do wish that I would've read the Sons of Bratva Savages series first, though, because I feel like it would've filled in a lot of blanks. I had quite a few questions about the characters that the information was probably common knowledge if you'd read the other series first. Totally my fault, though, so no hard feelings there.
I wish things would've been hashed out a bit more between the Northern and Southern Alliance. I love that Harlan and his friends accepted her unconditionally, but I really wanted to see more conflict with Sapphire and her relationship. However, with the promise of a full series coming (NOT SOON ENOUGH), I really can't complain here. I'll just sit on this cliff for ages until I can read more...
Penelope is always guaranteed a good time with her books, and this one is no different. I get so excited when I see her name in a series I'm reading, and I can't wait to read more of her catalogue!

Room Eight by Penelope Wylde is part of the multi-author Club Sin: Chicago Session 1 series. This story is adjacent to the Sons of Bratva Savages series with the MFC being Sapphire Constantine. She is the cousin to the brothers who run the "northern alliance" and is trying to figure out where she really belongs. It is one night when her sister and her go to Club Sin in Chicago that she quickly discovers exactly what that is, at least at the moment, Room Eight and the three men who run the "southern alliance". But what happens at Club Sin usually stays there so can they really make a more permanent relationship outside of those confines? With each of the men very focused on pleasing and taking care of Sapphire she only has to relax and enjoy, and deliver one more little thing to cement a new alliance. Or will it all blow up and she will lose everything?

Sapphire wants something more in life, yet it is difficult for her voice this to her cousin and the leader of the Northern Alliance. But when three men from her family’s enemy, the Southern Alliance, make her an offer at Club Sin she can’t refuse.
The moment they all cross paths at the club there is chemistry and no shortage of it. I love how all three men are instantly protective of Sapphire and I love how they become even more protective over her. Their love shines through. I also loved seeing a softer side to this big, tatted up Mafia men.
I am intrigued where their story is going to go as there is a trilogy to come. This one does end on an HEA but I am sure there is plenty more danger to find this group.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is a mafia rh romance with plenty of drama, Family, betrayal, enemies, determination, undeniable chemistry, lust and love. Sapphire finds an unexpected connection with three powerful men. These men are meant to be her enemies but each of their different personalities provide her with something she needs. Sapphire is everything that they want. Together, all of them might get what they desire. They begin their future with a contract that could have deadly repercussions. It doesn't change the growing feelings and intense passion between them. It is a good storyline and I liked the characters. It does give them a hea but there's more to their story. Some editing issues with my ARC but they are usually cleared up by publication. Other than that, I enjoyed their story

Sapphire Constantine meet the three leaders of the Southern Alliance when they came to talk to Harlon, it did not go well but thoughts of them stayed with her. One night at Club Sin, she is there to support her cousin, and they are there. There is no way she can stay away from them, like moth to a flame. They want something from her, for her to carry their children.
This is just the start of their relationship, the quartet is getting a trilogy, as the path to happily ever after is rarely easy in Chicago mafia. This a very steamy read, with some auction and drama. I am looking forward to more of their story.

Great Read!!!
I enjoyed reading Room Eight: A Dark Bratva Mafia Reverse Harem Romance!!! Penelope Wylde is back again with the Club Sin authors and it was awesome. We met Sapphire in Savage Thief and I am so glad that she got her own book, with three hot and undeniable men. I loved the protectiveness that these three men had for Sapphire. These four should be on opposite sides but there is no denying what their hearts truly want. I loved the this book and I thought that is was a perfect addition to the Club Sin series as well as a side book for the Sons of Bratva Savages.

Sapphire is a undertaker for the mafia. She became a undertaker to improve her standing within her family after her father stole from the family and left. She has always felt unfilled with her job and personal life. Sapphire has an opportunity to go to club sin where she meets 3 men in a rival family. She met them before when they wanted to combine families a couple of years ago. They have a connection that none acted on until now.
This book was good. I really enjoyed this series and I looking forward to the rest of the books in the club sin collection.

Decent story although a lot untold. Not sure how to write the review for this. Belle was at Club Sin that night and knew nothing about what was going on ? Sapp says that she loves them and they still negotiate a price? Was snake eyes working for himself or one of the territories as he called both north and south and he was getting his pat from Genesis. Just some thoughts. With this based with Club Sin I thought that the sexy was left out. Oh well, just my 2 cents.

This story was a little weird in that Sapphire is from the Northern Alliance, and Elian, Lev, and Gregor are from the Southern Alliance. It's a fast paced story that involves a breeder contract, kidnapping, and so much tension between rival factions. I was glued to the story, but I feel like it could have been more. I am super excited to know that they are getting their own series though, and I really look forward to reading it.

It is a steamy read that involves kidnapping, a breeder's contract and a whole lot of turmoil between rivals. Saphire finds herself in the middle of it all. This story kept me glued to the pages with its thrilling drama along with colorful characters that I enjoyed connecting with as I read about their drama.

What an intense read. I started and didn’t put it down. Sapphire has grown up in the mafia but the Family betrayed her, all but 2. When she reaches for more happiness she feels like she betraying the few that stood by her. Will reaching for what she needs be a reason for bloodshed? I can’t wait for the trilogy to give us more about these four people.

DNF at 46% For a story that only 187 pages there is waaayyy too much story that is not needed. There are way too many characters and almost all of them are irrelevant and pointless to even mention. I struggled to get even this far into this book and after reading this have decided to take the rest of this series off my TBR.

Sapphire currently works for the Northern Alliance as the undertaker. Elyah, Lev and Gregor are the new leaders of the Northern Alliance. When they meet again at Club Sin, sparks fly. This book has plenty of action, both dark and romantic, as it scratches the surface of a rich Bratva world. A trilogy is coming for Sapphire and her men - it’ll be exciting to see how their full story unfolds.

Room Eight is a reverse harem rival mafia romance that follows Sapphire, Elyah, Lev and Gregor.
I'm torn on how to review this one. It was an overall good read and I liked the premise of the story yet there were a few things that just didn't make sense to me along with the many typos that were distracting. Also for a Club Sin book it didn't have the grit and spice that I expected.
