Okay I guess I should have looked a little closer as it appears my book is the edition before this one but the contents are exactly the same with the same style of artwork which for me was and always will be quintessentially Ladybird.
I was always fascinated with space and rocketry from a young age - I saw a friend once with one of those hobby rockets where you use your own solid fuel rockets inside a model and then used electronics to launch like the real thing - okay I was 8 at the time.
but even to this day I still cannot pass up the change to learn more about although technology has come a long long way - one of the reasons why it fascinates me - I still remember sitting in the village hall with the rest of the village watching the launch of the first space shuttle!
