I was so lucky to have received an advanced copy of Solas presented by @stryvlingpress and to be taking part of this 12 day virtual book tour!
Solas is an anthology of short stories and poems depicting the effects of Covid-19, grief and loss, mental health and a variety of other topics which were incredible to read about.
I loved the way the anthology was split seasonly which made it easy to read but also gave the anthology an extra poetic touch. Despite the harrowing topics of many of the pieces, there was so much beauty within this anthology and I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of giving it a try.
There are many literary works within it however it is not too time consuming to read which is ideal. I greatly enjoyed the mixture of poetry and prose although I am personally more drawn to the poetry and the versatile forms used in each piece.
Overall, I am very pleased to have been given a copy of Solas as it was a beautiful experience that I will be sure to read through again. I would like to thank Stryvling Press once again for this opportunity as I have thoroughly enjoyed this book. Solas was officially released yesterday which means it is available to purchase now so please make sure to treat yourself to a copy of this wondrous anthology of literary art.
