This probably would have been half decent if it was about 150 pages longer, but at only 94 pages, there really wasn’t much the author could do. It would have been fine if it was all smut, and no plot, but the author tried to have a “plot” and smut, and that’s just too much to accomplish in 94 pages.

This one is on me. Read the blurb, knew the FMC was to be newly 18, MMC was to be an older guy...and yet I needed a palate cleanser book and this series keeps on popping up on my recommendations.

It is always good to have growth, even if it is in reading smut. So, a book where FMC has just turned 18, MMC is 40 years old, 22 year difference and instead of them having a conversation, he decided to bind her to him by virtue of pregnancy...reeks of grooming.

And then I spent the afternoon, just decided to watch a random true crime show...and what is it? A serial killer who was conditioning his own daughters to sexual assault.

So, a me thing. I knew better and they say I love you so quickly, didn't sit right with me.

Hours before turning 18, Savannah finds out her stepfather owes money to the Mob and is planning on selling her to pay the debt. When her mother died, all the money was left to her instead of the stepfather. She runs away, not knowing how she will claim her inheritance, just that she needs to leave ASAP or she'll probably die. The car she borrowed breaks down before getting her where she was going, so she goes to the closest house and ends up finding it empty and she takes a nap. Brooks comes home to find her in his bed. Things go from there and it's not long before the cops are on his doorstep and it all hits the fan. Will he pay off the stepfather? Can he keep her out of jail?

The age gap is more than I typically like. Anything over 20, especially with a girl that young...I just don't like it. I'm sure others don't have a problem with it, it's just not for me.

Savannah’s life has been turned upside down, she flees her childhood home and ends up in the home of a mysterious man.

There is an instant attraction and connection between Savannah and Brooks. Especially on Brooks end, he quickly becomes obsessed with Savannah and his soul knows that hers is the missing half. He proves time and time again he will do anything and everything in order to keep her safe forever and to keep her with him forever.

This is a fast paced story that is full of steam. I do wish it was a little longer and there was a little more of them more into the future because I would have loved to see Daddy Brooks come out!

If you’re looking for a spicy, insta love, age gap this is one to check out.

Brooks and Savannah have an insta-lust turned love romance. It’s quick and dirty and easily read in one sitting.

Savannah flees to the mountains on the eve of her 18th birthday in order to escape her stepfather and his mean and money grabbing ways.

A broken down car, a walk in the woods and she stumbles upon Brooks empty cabin… until he returns and the ‘fun’ code word for sex begins.

Insta-lust quickly becomes love, there’s a little drama as the stepfather locates Savannah. But Brooks and Savannah get their happy ending.

Brooks and Savannah met in an interesting way when Savannah ends up in Brooks's cabin after running from her stepdad. When Brooks sees Savannah he falls for her instantly and things take some steamy turns. This is a quick, age-gap, insta love story with stepdad drama, likable characters, and a happily ever after. Bred By The Mountain Man is part of the multi-author Baby Breeder series and I look forward to reading the rest of this series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

I NEED MORE OF THEIR STORY 🥲🥲
This is is such a quick smut read for sure!!! 🤣🤣
The plot twist and tension was so compact and face paced! There's always something going on i feel like i'm running a marathon 🤣
But over all it's a great novella!! Really really like the story and the smut was a definite 🤣🤣🔥🔥

I love mountain man stories. They're usually so growly and possessive. Savannah is getting away from a horrible stepfather and ends up in the cabin Brooks owns. It's instant love for him but she takes a tiny bit longer. I loved the story and was happy to see her stepfather get what was coming to him!!!
