Private Investigator Logan Fox is already dealing with a rocky relationship, but when an alarming phone call from a kidnapped old friend begs him to come and save her, he’s pulled away from his own mess and into a world of unimaginable cruelty.
Lizzy had used her final moments to ask for help. All she left was a brief description of her whereabouts, and then the screaming began. Tracing her to the small town of Galena, Logan soon discovers a tie to a nearby house of horrors. The more he learns, the more he regrets, and soon his entire world comes toppling down around him.
HOUSE OF BLOOD is the third instalment to a gripping new serial killer series. It follows Private Investigator Logan Fox as he searches desperately for a missing friend… a search that will push him to his limits.

Logan Fox returns in this excellent addition to the series. Logan gets a call in the night from a friend begging for him to help her. When he hears her attacked and seemingly kidnapped he does what he has to do. He sets off with the barest of information to try to do whatever he can to help. Adam Nicholls pulls no punches with this intense, and often dark, novel. It’s fast paced with the author's customary short punchy chapters that have the story flying by while the reader thinks, ‘Just one more chapter!’ repeatedly. Despite the heinous criminals and their warped minds this was one of those books that demand you keep reading. I just couldn’t wait to see what, if anything, Logan could do. The story takes some twists and turns along the way before it all reaches its thrilling climax. Another entertaining book from Adam Nicholls who once again proves what a talented author he is.
The main character is an idiot. He runs into danger trying to save or protect someone and ends up putting his "family" and friends into mortal danger. Even his wife and child were killed because of his actions. I'm not saying it was his fault they were killed, I'm just saying he is a magnet for tragic events and I, for one, would not want to be around him knowing how often tragedy occurs to the ones he cares about. How he has any friends is a mystery to me. I'm not sure if that's how the author intended to portray the main character but that's the way I see him.
The story is also very gory and brutal. Not sure how anybody can read this stuff and get enjoyment out of it. Thank goodness it was a quick read.
Okay...on to the next, and hopefully, last book of the series.
These books just keep getting better!! This is the 3rd book of the series and they’re written so well that you become truly invested in the story and characters. Logan just can’t help getting himself into trouble in order to help others. It’s brilliantly written and I just want more. Keep them coming!
The 3rd book in the Logan Fox series is another exciting tale. Once again, Logan seems to be in over his head with his latest adventure. The excellent plot has danger, drama and plenty of twists to keep you guessing. It’s fast paced and Very entertaining. Loved it. *this was a complimentary copy and this is my honest review*
A story that takes a friendship to new heights. Can you ask too much of a friend that will never be the same? Can you ever forgive someone of horrendous acts just to keep your sanity?
