I am loving this series! The Elite Six women get together to go over the new recruits for the next session. Bryn is interested in Sloan’s file who is a mechanic. Bryn sees Sloan around town a few times before the first day of the recruits and he flirts in his own way. I would have loved to see his face when he saw her as one of the trainers. Sloan has a secret from his past when he boxed and refuses to box with anyone. They all know he has a secret he won’t share, but he can’t get past the secret until he talks about it plus he can’t graduate if he doesn’t box. I loved that Bryn was into Sloan as she was always a loner and many people thought she didn’t like men. I was glad to see Bryn spend some time with Sloan as she used the excuse she wanted him to trust her. It broke my heart when I found out what Bryn’s secret was. It did explain some of Bryn’s actions. There were some exciting scenes in the book that had me on the edge of my seat. I loved the book and strongly encourage you to read it. I was given a copy and voluntarily wrote a review.

Bryn has forged a close relationship with the other women who form Elite Six but due to her past she is very cautious about the men she allows in her life. She was attracted to Sloan before she even met him however between not only is he one of the new recruits, but she has a past that is about to resurface with a vengeance.

Sloan is a mechanic for the military who has been recruited for the program. He has excelled in all aspects of the training except when it comes to hand-to-hand combat due to his past. There is no denying the attraction between he and Bryn however he is in danger of not being able to complete his training if he isn’t able to overcome his past.

Both Sloan and Bryn have endured events in their past which is affecting their present as they take us on a journey filled with action, intrigue and romance.

Wow, this series just keeps getting better! This 3rd installment in the Elite Six series focuses on Bryn and the new recruit into the program, Sloan. I was excited about this story because Bryn has been such a loner in this series where not much was known about her except her amazing hacking skills. Sloan, a Mechanic in the military, looks promising as a recruit except he refuses to participate in hand-to-hand combat and won't explain why. The chemistry between these two is fast and scorching, they're both hiding secrets, and they are both fighting personal demons. What could be better?

Any fans of strong, intelligent, sensitive, yet stubborn men - get ready for Sloan. There aren't enough words to describe how crazy I am about his character. He's quiet, reserved, and would rather help out a local mechanic at night than sleep. I haven't given Bryn's character a ton of thought throughout the series except I knew she is the best hacker and sort of reserved. Bryn, like Sloan, has horrible trauma from her past and her character's resilience is truly inspiring.

A big difference between The Mechanic and previous books in the series is that it doesn't include an actual military mission for the Elite Six and their newest recruits, but don't fear, there is still a ton of action and suspense, just a little closer to home this time. I loved The Pilot, then I thought The Medic was my favorite, and now I think The Mechanic is my favorite. There is just something special about this one and Bryn and Sloan together. It's the perfect blend of romance, emotion, chemistry, secrets, and action.

Wow fantastic 10 stars I love all these characters in the elite six SMA . when the new recruits come in one stands out Sloan archer mechanic ,weapons ,language and expert in field tactics but no hand to hand .Bryn barringer can't take her eyes off him, but her past hold her back. now both have past they need to get past to be whole and he is a man that stands by his convictions. You will definitely love these two.

I loved this book! Sloan had been through a lot when he was younger and made a vow. No !after what, he would not break that vow. Not even after falling for Bryn. Bryn had been through hell and back when she was younger. She made herself stronger and was determined to not be a victim again. These two were made for each other. I absolutely loved this book and could not put it down! I am really excited to read Harper's book next. I have kinda connected to her more in this book than the other two. Each book in this series just gets better and better!.

Sloane is the kind of man that most women dream of. He is sweet, sexy, loyal and committed to his vows. He made a vow to never fight and sticks to his promise to himself.

Bryn also vowed to herself to never get involved with a man again. But she questions that promise the moment she sees Sloane.

Their story is filled with fun, tears and love. Their pasts are hard to overcome, especially when hers comes back to face her.

I am really enjoying these stories of strong and determined women and these men who steal their hearts. Sloane and Bryn are no exception. Theirs is a wonderful story of how love can conquer all!

This is Brynn and Sloan's story. They both have devastating pasts that still haunt them. Brynn used her past to change physically and mentally. Sloan refuses to uses his fists for fighting. This affects his ability to continue on the SMA program. They do get their HEA after all.

Sloan Archer, Marine is enlisted to the Elite Six training to be a member of the SMA. He doesn't want to be there. He refuses hand to hand combat. He made a vow to himself along time ago. He refuses to go back on this promise. He flies through all of the training but gives everyone a hard time and refuses.
Bryn Barringer also has a secret that no one knows. The Elite Six thinks she's gay. She has never shown any interest in any man.
But that not the reason. She had a traumatic situation happen to her when she was in college. She saw her boyfriend shot right in front of her and was beaten badly and left for dead. She was in a coma for months. It was her ex high school boyfriend, Hunter that did it. He went to prison but had a sleazy lawyer that got him serving a lesser time in prison.
Now that Bryn is stationed in Puerto Rico she figured she didn't have to worry??? Wrong.
Sloan feel head over heels over Bryn. He has respect for her and how she is a strong confident woman even though she is petite. She has been training herself since the incident.
The two of them try everything to be together but forces are pulling them away.
The Elite Six and Nick, Owen and Sloan have to go on a mission to save Bryn from Hunter. Great teamwork and love as an extended family work together.

For Sloan Archer, being chosen as a recruit for the special, secret military should be the chance of a lifetime. However, the man finds he has no choice in the matter when he is plucked out of the safe life he had as a Mechanic on a military base in Hawaii. He has a secret that his commander has helped him keep hidden but is now threatened when he finds that part of his training is hand to hand combat. Bryn Barringer is the pint size hacker that is part of the Elite Six but she has a secret of her own that no one on her team of strong and extremely close women know about. The chemistry between the two is immediate and they find that the secrets they each keep will actually be the things that bring them close to their HEA. Great action and some nail biting moments but I loved this book that appears to be the conclusion to a wonderful series.

More than meets the eye!!! This goes for both Bryn and Sloan! I’ve so enjoyed each of the first two books in this series, but The Mechanic beat them out by a long mile!!!! Im not going to tell you anything more about it other than to say don’t hesitate to pick it up!!!! These characters are beyond amazing!!! I love a story that leaves you guessing until the very end and Kelly Moore totally got it done in a splendid way! I definitely recommend this whole series!

A new class of the Elite Six is beginning. Sloan is a problem. A highly skilled mechanic and intelligent but refuses to participate in hand to hand combat. Bryn, the computer whiz/hacker, is determined to find out what in his past is troubling him. Sloan on the other hand is smitten with Bryn and just as determined to discover her secret. Lovely romance with sweet characters. And the climax is a real edge of your seat nail-biter. Great episode of a terrific series!

The Mechanic (Elite Six, #3) was a great read by Kelly Moore. Bryn Barring is the best hacker in the military and can hack any system. She is the best person to teach the new recruits the skills they need in order to complete their trainings. She chooses to be a lone wolf when outside of the Elite Six. The moment she lays her eyes on the mechanic, Sloan Archer, he shifts her world. Sloan has lived his life taking orders to survive a past that has been erased. He's kept a vow that protects him but must break it if he wants to succeed as an agent. Bryn finds herself caught up in her feelings for him, there's a danger that she'd dismissed that lurks around the corner and threatens both their lives. I enjoyed reading this book and cant wait to read more by the author.

It’s Bryn’s turn and this one does not disappoint!

Bryn has always hidden herself away from the eyes of others, not wanting attention or focus to be on her, but when her new recruit has secrets of his own that he is not willing to share, she finds that she may finally be able to open up to someone for the first time in a long time.
Sloan is also a loner who keeps to himself, so when this feisty woman gets in his face and starts asking hard questions he can’t help but feel his luck is starting to change. That is until her past catches up to her in the most dangerous way.

Loved Bryn’s story and could not put this one down.

The previous books in this series have nothing on this one!! Bryn and Sloan are my favorite couple...as of now. I even shed a tear or two during some of the intense and lovey moments. Her dad was the dad I wish I had and her friends show what true friendship is all about. They aren't blood but still family at the end of the day. Can't wait to read Harper's story next.

Sloan’s keeps him from moving forward in his career because he made a vow to himself years ago that he will not break. Bryn’s past, unfortunately, will not stay forgotten and buried. Her vengeful, insane ex has resurfaced and is determined to reclaim her, even if it means taking down anyone who cares for her. When Sloan steps up to help, he and Bryn do more than confide in each other. Passion quickly turns to love, even as the danger escalates and his time with her is about to be cut short. Read this captivating and thrilling book to discover just how Bryn and Sloan’s story develops.

Best ,most exciting book of the series. Bryn and Sloan are perfect for each other. Of all the people to meet and match up, the internal struggle they both feel is so similar that they are able to heal one another without realizing it. This story has it all, excitement, pain, happiness, lots of love between characters. Great world building, I couldn't put the book down. I read it in a few hours. Looking so forward to book #4. This is Sloan and Bryn’s story and what a story it is. Sloan is a mechanic, which I absolutely love. Bryn is checking him out at the knife show and Owen catches her. He asks why she wants people to think she’s gay? Sloan overhears and when he walks by he says he’s right, you’re not gay and you’re hiding something. Yes, she’s hiding something and we’ll find out while reading this book. We also learn why Sloan, who is a former boxer, refuses to take the hand-to-hand combat classes. Sloan and Bryn have some amazing chemistry, but Bryn isn’t the only one to notice Sloan. A woman has been chosen for Elite Six Training, Benning Cross, and she touches and comes on to him every chance she can. I really didn’t like her, lol. I highly recommend this entire series, especially if you love steamy scenes, friends that are like family, and fantastic love stories. Oh, let’s not forget the page-turning suspense. Grab your copy and get ready to fall in love with Sloan, just like I did.

This is the third story in the "Elite Six" series about women who run the Elite Six training program. This story is about Bryn and a new mechanic recruit, Sloan. He was a boxer before he joined the military. He has many skills and talents but refuse to fight or engage in hand-to-hand combat. He is forced to go to the training but the refusal to engage in combat could get his kicked out of the program. Both have secrets and have trauma in their past. As Sloan goes through the program these two grow closer. Then Bryn is in trouble. I enjoyed every bit of this story. It develops very nicely and I love how these two grow closer. Loads of chemistry between them. I love the banter between the characters. The suspense and action are great as well. I love the touching and endearing ending. It is good seeing other characters from the two previous stories in this one. This can be read as a stand alone but they are all great!! Bring on the "Officer" and Harper's story!!!

I am really enjoying this series, but almost wish the books would be a little longer so we can see the connection between the main characters develop more. Sloan and Bryn go through a lot to be together and there were times I wasn’t sure they would make it. They both have horrifying instances in their pasts that have made them the way they are, but whether they can overcome the past and live in the future remains to be seen.
This book has romance, sexy times, suspense, and friendship. I liked seeing them open up to each other, even when it was hard. I wish there would have been at least one more scene between the female recruit and Bryn, I felt like that was unfinished. Overall, this was a great addition to the series and I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book.

Bryn is part of the Elite Six that train the new military recruits and Sloan is a mechanic who has been recruited to be part of the program. Bryn and Sloan have great chemistry but when something from the past comes back to haunt them will it change how they feel about each other. Bryn and Sloan go through a lot to get their happily ever after making it that much better. The Mechanic is book three in the Elite Six series and so far I am loving all of the books. I can't wait to read the rest of this fantastic series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

I have been reading Kelly's books for a couple of years now, and I can honestly say that she is one incredible writer, and now, one of my go-to authors.
The Elite Six is a group of six incredible women working for a special training operation. Each book covers one of these women, together with the man whose job fits the title of the book. Sloan is The Mechanic and the woman is Bryn, both have a secret from their past,
Will Sloan make it through the training and overcome his past? Has Bryn's past caught up with her?
The Mechanic is full of suspense, intrigue and romance, once you pick this book up, you won't want to put it down.

Bryn is a hacker teaching the skills to others and keeping to herself till Sloane comes on board and both of them are now in danger.
This is explosive, dangerous and down right edgy. It's a roller coaster ride of an action packed book that had me from the very first page.
I loved the fire and chemistry between Bryn and Sloane, both so guarded, but wanting to break down each other's walls. If only to break free.
This was an amazing story that really was truly suspenseful and one I know I'll revisit in future. So good!!! Truly great!!.
