WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice really quick, short read.

Sloane and Madison have known one another most of their lives, he's her brother's best friend. When Madison comes to live close to her brother, both her and Sloane are finally not seeing anyone. Madison just bought a house and her brother River is helping her fix it up. When a storm goes through and damages her fence River comes over along with Sloane. Sloane and Madison share glances at one other without River seeing them. Sloane and River are helping fix Madison's fence when she decides to help out. Madison's brother River has to leave all of a sudden. So Madison decides to grab a letter to help out Sloane. Madison is climbing the ladder when Sloane stops her wanting her to get down. Sloane climbs the ladder grabbing onto Madison and she wiggles against him. Sloane falls and Madison lands on top of him scraping her knee. Sloane is checking out Madison to make sure she's not hurt. Soon Sloane is kissing Madison, then they head inside. Sloane then pleasures Madison then they make love. Afterwords Madison hears a woman's voice she doesn't recognize. Sloane and Madison try to get dressed but they are caught by Gabby Justice: Dating the Virgin, Darby and Rumor Vance. Gabby wants to take Madison out for a girls night and Sloane tells her she should go. While Madison is out with the girls they want to know all the details. Madison isn't sure what is going on between her and Sloane. While Madison heads out with the girls Sloane finishes a few things at her house. Sloane hears someone come into the house and assumes it's Madison. Sloane starts talking but finds out it's River, who gets upset at his friend. River wants to know where his sister is, so Sloane tells him she's out with the girls. Sloane goes to leave but stops himself and tells River how he feels about Madison. Sloane hears the door open and soon sees Madison. Sloane confesses that he's in love with Madison. Madison lets Sloane know she's been in love with him for a while. A few weeks later, Sloane and River are working on a project for Madison. When Madison gets home Sloane surprises her, then he asks her to marry him and she tells him yes.

She is more than a little Wilde

Sloane is the third book in the Home Wreckers Construction series and this one is sizzling hot and nails it perfectly. The story is about Sloane Carpenter and Madison Wilde. These two have grown up together as Sloane has been best friends with River, who is Madison's older brother. Since they were kids Madison has loved Sloane and wanted to be near him so she tagged after River all the time, no matter what he tried to get her to lose interest, which meant she was always near Sloane. Sloane has loved Madison for years also but she has always been in the "no go" zone as River would kill him. But these two really are meant to be together which has meant they flirt a bit, go back and forth, never have the right timing and have never been able to have a long term and meaningful relationship with anyone else. But Madison has had enough when she finally gets the right opportunity and she decides she is about to push Sloane to the breaking point.....which results in a storm that blows hotter than anyone could anticipate.

So good. So sweet. If you like romance you will enjoy this read. The characters are so dang cute, down to earth, lovable. Madison has moved into a new place in town. Madison is a sassy, feisty, independent woman. But when a terrible storm hits she needs a little help to repair the fence. To the rescue comes her brother and her brothers best friend Sloan. Madison has been in love with Sloan forever. She is not sure she can continue to stay away from him. Madison wants him. She is ready to make her move. What will happen? What will Sloan do? What a fun story! Sloane and Madison’s love for one another started long ago. You see, Sloane is best friends with her big brother, River. That in this story, we come to learn that he is grumpier than usual. We never find out why, but I have a feeling his story will clear it up.

Madison moves back into town and buys her own home. She is one lucky girl because her big brother loves her so much. Even in a bad mood, River arrives with a crew, to help her move in. The only one she had eyes for was, Sloane.

It's the next day when she calls her brother for the use of some tools to fix some things that were damaged in the overnight storm that she is surprised with the help of both her brother and Sloane. That's when she decided she was going to make her move on, Sloane.

Sloane is not opposed to having a relationship with Madison, is due to his best friend, River. That keeps him from going, full board. Can she change his mind? Oh boy, can she.

If it's meant to be...

Sloane and River have been best friends since childhood, with Madison—River’s younger sister—always tagging along behind them. Growing up, Madison was completely smitten with the one person she could never have, and as an adult, she finds herself jumping from one disastrous relationship to the next. Sloane isn’t much better off—he also seems doomed when it comes to love.

But those lingering gazes and unspoken feelings? They can’t be ignored forever. When everything finally comes to the surface, it just feels right.

This was a short, fast-paced story filled with chemistry, longing, and strong alpha male vibes. There aren’t many side character interactions, and it felt even shorter than the others, but it still works for what it is.

I really enjoyed this latest book in the Home Wreckers series. Sloan and Madison were perfect for each other. Sloane is best friends with Madison's brother and has had feelings for her for a long time. Madison always followed her brother around since she had a huge crush on Sloane and wanted to be near him. Years later they are still all friends and neither Sloane or Madison has voiced their feelings for one another. Both are tired of holding back on how they feel about one another feeling it would not be well received by her brother. She has bought a house and her brother and Sloane are helping with minor repairs. The two finally give into their feelings for one another. They spend an afternoon together and her brother finds out. Sloane is willing to fight for Madison and says that he is in love with her. This was a great read with a great HEA.

After reading Vance, I knew I needed to read the rest of the books about the "Home Wreckers Construction" men. Sloane is taboo since he's Madison's older brother's best friend. They also work together, so there's plenty riding on whether or not they should try and start a relationship, or just leave it where it lays. River is very protective of his sister but Madison and Sloane are tired of fighting their attraction for each other.

I was so happy to see another dual POV, and most of it being Sloane, seeing it from a guy's perspective. I also like that he stuck up for his new relationship with Madison when it was accidentally discovered by River.

A cute, sassy, and fun short read!.

Just like Piper Cook’s books, I LOVED this book!! It’s a quick read but definitely worth it. Sloane is Madison’s brother’s best friend. We all know the Bro Code. Madison and Sloane have liked each other since they were kids but have always danced around each other. Both have made bad choices in their previous relationships. After Madison’s latest relationship fail, she moves into a house and her brother, River, and Sloane help her with some fixes that she needs.
This book was fun to read. I really thought that they could make a go of it together, but her brother is an obstacle for them. This book drew me in at the very beginning. A definite must read!.

Madison was moving into a house but that night a storm hit and she needed her brother to come help. He brought along his best friend Sloane. Madison had a crush on him forever. The two of them started flirting when Madison climbed a tree and wouldn't get down so Sloane had to go get her down. Being on a ladder was not easy for him as she was doing everything to get his to flirt back. Finally it worked, Sloane took Madison inside where they let their feelings known. Sloane was worried her brother would be upset but he was glad his sister was happy. Both Sloane and Madison no longer had to hide their feelings for each other.

Madison and Sloane, the lead characters, have been attracted to each other for years but have never done anything about it because they don’t want to disturb either of their relationship with Madison’s brother. But now they’re both single and Sloane is helping Madison with some home repair on her new house…

This short story is dual POV, well written, and a cute explosion of a long term attraction. Because the characters had a pre-existing long term relationship, this story unfolded quite naturally and was cute and steamy. I enjoyed the simplicity of it.

Madison is Sloane's best friend's little sister and that makes her off limits. But they are both tired of fighting their mutual attraction and left alone one afternoon and they finally act on those feelings. Once caught they confess their love and of course all ends happily for our couple.

I love, that while the story is told in dual POV, it's mainly from his POV. That's not often the case, but I feel that you get a different story than if it's mainly from the woman's view.

A quick read, with a steamy scene in the middle, and lots of love throughout.

This is a short, brother's best friend love story with likable characters, steam, and a happily ever after. When they were younger Madison and Sloane had feelings for one another. Madison knew if her brother ever found out that he would kill Sloane. So, she runs away when she is eighteen and doesn't let anyone know where she's going. Now years later she's back and the feelings are still there. Will they get a second chance to be together? Or will her brother come between them?

This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. It's a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Madison is a feisty and curvy girl who has just moved into a new house. Sloane is a hunky construction worker and the best friend on her older brother, River. These two have been crushing on each other for years, but timing was always wrong. Sloane is also worried about his friendship with her brother. But when he is working on her house, she finally makes a move, and Sloane can't refuse. What will her brother say? The chemistry between these two was insane and the ending was very happy. I can't wait for River's story next!

What a cute story. I loved the fact that Sloane didn’t care if Madison’s brother River would kick his butt for wanting to have a relationship with Madison. These two characters had loved each other for a long time, but they didn’t want to upset River, but eventually they couldn’t keep their feelings quiet and travel into their own happily ever after.

I love these Home Wreckers Construction series books. This time we have Sloan and Madison. He’s her brothers best friend and there’s a line you don’t cross. But it’s getting harder for Sloan to walk away. Maybe it’s time for Madison to find someone not afraid to be with her. A great storyline and characters. I can’t wait for River’s story. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

This was great. Sloane is just what you want for a boyfriend and I think Madison was fun. Not sure why everyone judged her so harshly. Plenty of chemistry but she needs new friends. What kind of girlfriends do what they did and interrupt like that??? Not at all realistic.
