Another great book in this series by Jaxon Reed. This one is a little slower than some of his other works, but it is still an enjoyable read. This time we see two new assassins who are targeted to Euripides, a former League planet that is slowly integrating into the Republic. One of the things I like most about these books is the creative tech that the author introduces. This time in addition to the assassin ships we have seen before and some of the weaponry he introduces a simulacrum that can fool people and AIs as well. Looks like things on Euripides are about to get more interesting!

Agent Foley Blackmark has a mission and a plan. But of course things do not always go smoothly and Remington Rennison makes an appearance. Then things got interesting. Lots of action, danger, highs and lows as the story reads along. Entertaining to read and to see who will win each face off this time around. Some of the scenes were an outright riot and over the top but that is the reason I like this series.

Los quadrant star league, assassin, book 5. Good series, more people should read it.

This is an enjoyable, fast pace, fun series. Not a lot of death to it. Some more personality could be injected into the MC. She is a likable character, betrayed by her former masters, and now fighting for the Republic. she needs to be. paired with Gina Wilcox, this would make a dynamite series in my opinion. The MC needs a sidekick that she can rely on. That could possibly be Gina Wilcox. I don’t know why a lot of people don’t read this book because it’s fun, enjoyable, and a great world. this is a good series, fast pace, it has everything that I signed fiction fan could want. You have artificial intelligences, guns, or lasers, transporters, robots, what else could you want except maybe be a more detailed world, but the detailed world is pretty good for this type of book. I think the author should decide to flush out this world, even more and make a longer book. That’s probably my opinion because I love this series so much. If you’re reading this on Goodreads, please go ahead and read the series start all the way back at the beginning from Pirates of the Milky Way and going through. Just think about it this way you don’t have to wait for the next book. I am going to read the next book in the series and hope the author will continue in this universe.

Our hero is finally given a task, but getting dumped in a prison is not part of the plan. And that is just the start of his complications.

This is book five of the series. It does okay as a standalone, but it is also somewhat of a serial. The further along we go, the more you will be missing.

This is a SF action story. The story is well written, easy to read with a fast paced action plot that grabbed me at the start and built from there. The setting is well developed with lots of nuances to it that provide a little surprise around every corner. The characters are also excellent, particularly our hero. The journey has lots of twists and turns to it that kept me turning pages to see what was coming next. Overall, a highly enjoyable story and I look forward to the next book in the series.

Highly recommended.

More of the same.
Exciting prison break and a brief intro to some potentially interesting characters
