I found this series to be a tough one to get thru. i read all three books and where it is very historical of the famous cult church leader Joseph Smith (and since I was raised a LDS) and his doings. It is also was very informative for me to know for the most part the founder of the church as what he did to get it started and keep it going until his death.

I recommend it for ones that are questioning the religion and its roots or ones wanting to know more of Joseph Smith and where it was well written, it was hard to drudge thru with my background.

I can see where current LDS would be very offended by it as it shows all the witchcraft and such he was in, and not a called prophet at all, but a self appointed arrogant man that found a way to have a good living off his saints in tough times as well as a free license to adultery with all the women in the church.
