Faye Matteson cannot believe the nerve of Dante Valenti! The arrogant Italian expects her to become his mistress in exchange for his help with her failing business.
In her inexperienced youth, Faye gave her heart to Dante—but he took her virginity and left her devastated. She'd sworn, never again!
But no one should ever underestimate the power of Dante Valenti's sensuality. If he wants her, he will have her….
Sabrina Philips first discovered Mills & Boon one Saturday afternoon at her first job in a charity shop. Sorting through a stack of books, she came across a cover which featured a glamorous heroine and a tall, dark hero. She started reading under the counter that instant and has never looked back! Sabrina now creates infuriatingly sexy heroes of her own, which she defies both her heroines and her readers – to resist!
I really disliked this one. After hero takes heroines virginity he basically calls her a gold digger and that he doesn't respect her, WTF??? He has ultimate proof she's not promiscuous and he treats her like that?? Then 6 years go by and she comes crawling to him for a loan and he decides to use her. She falls back into bed with relatively quickly even with knowing what he thinks about her, especially since he constantly tells her. I really really hate heroines with no back bone and that just let the hero treat them badly with little to no pushback. P.
