Byron had it all. Until he didn’t. Tall, dark, and handsome, he was at the top of his game, until arrogance and a hard fist brought him down. Bruised and beaten, he was given a lifeline in the form of a redheaded angel. If it hadn’t been for him, he wouldn’t know where he would be. It’d been a long hard fight, but he was back. He’d been reborn. He wasn’t the same man. He was different, he felt different. Byron was thankful, grateful even for what Lionel had done for him. He was alive and ready to face life again. He had just one problem, he was in love with a straight man.
Lionel was a drag queen in name only. He worked with the girls but wasn’t one of them. When Byron had gotten hurt, he’d only planned to help him out until he got back on his feet. But there’d been a vulnerability about Byron that called to him, and Lionel began extending his stay. Now Byron was living with him full time and he couldn’t be happier. Except, when had Byron’s shoulders gotten so broad? Where his eyes always that brown? His lips that kissable? Lionel had never felt an attraction like this before. What was he to do? He was in love with his Byron.
Unlike most of M. Taylor's books, this was too short. I think this book takes place a year after book #2. The problem is, we don't see what happened that year. We just hear they sleep (just sleep) together and sometimes kiss, but that is it. That whole year is like a black hole, then suddenly they are in love. This seems rushed, especially since Lionel is supposed to be straight. All the other books in the series were better. Read them :) angst 0.5/5 heat 2.5/5 story 1.5/5 POV multiple. The MCs get povs, but so do some of the side characters. break up no
Awesome collection love story of three friends falling in love and there friends finding love as well..
This one with Byron and Lili was kinda shorties of all thee other couples because in the beginning nobody liked Byron because what he did to Chris and Tanner but in the end he changed who he was Hubble himself and found his own happiness so great ending to this series
