A Standalone Contemporary Hidden Marriage Romance (Book 3 of Mr and Mrs Series)
Vansh Kapoor My best friend, Taani, assigned me the responsibility to help her find a suitable groom for her sister, Vidhi. I would have gladly done so if Vidhi hadn’t been my runaway bride, who didn't even acknowledge our marriage bond for 24 hours before fleeing from my life. Now she is right under my nose, letting her sister hunt marriage alliances for her, and the worst part is, I can’t even claim her as rightfully mine.
Vidhi Gupta Vansh Kapoor, the man I ran away from five years ago on our first night after marriage, was a childhood friend of my elder sister who was now looking for prospective grooms for me. Vansh was dragged into this responsibility as Taani trusted him more than anyone else in the world. I may have had a reason to marry him in the past, but I’d no excuses to hold on to that relationship anymore. Especially not when I knew the selfish reason why he had married me in the first place.
Some Marriages are made in Heaven. Some Marriages are meant to be Hidden. Never thought I would meet you again out of the Blue. With my heart begging to spend the rest of my life with You.

I love stories with a swoony male protagonist and a funny amigo, and this book has that in spades. I had a blast working on this book with Madhuri, and the fun we had was unlimited.
Imagine you are meeting your secret husband after 5 years, the same man you ran away from on your wedding night. What would you do? Not parade prospective grooms before him, right? But that's exactly what Vidhi does. Having promised her Mom that she'll get married, she takes the help of her husband's family to look for a groom. Vansh, relieved and elated to have finally found Vidhi wants to reveal their marriage to the family and make her his wife in the true sense. He wants to know why she left him all those years ago and clear all the misunderstandings. From hereon, is a fun ride of a husband and wife getting to know each other and woo each other back with the help of some beautiful characters. What was the reason they got secretly married in the first place, and why did Vidhi leave him?
Vansh Kapoor is sexy, hot and a total family guy. A one-woman man, he has eyes only for Vidhi. He is besotted by her. Despite she making his life difficult, he relentlessly pursues her. Add in the sizzling chemistry share, and Vidhi can't help but be drawn towards him. Vidhi is innocent and immature at first, but the way her character evolves is a beautiful coming-of-age read. Her scenes of trying to win Vansh back after he gets miffed with her are hilarious. Unable to understand her attraction towards this man, the way she explores her desires is beautiful. Taani is super cute, and her friendship with Vansh and love for Vidhi is unparalleled. Daadi is a sweetheart and the glue that keeps the family together. And Rohan, my favourite of them all. From his dislike and silly bickerings with Vidhi, to being her best friend, her confidante; you get a peek into his beautiful personality. I am waiting for his story. If you love hidden/secret marriage romance full of oomph, this is right up your alley. Highly recommended.
The best book I read so far. The story begins for the ring and ends with the ring beautiful ending. Reading this book was like I was watching a Yash Johar movie. The song In The Rain killed it. It is something with drama, anger passion, family values, misunderstanding, friendship all the aspects which a blockbuster movie would have so I say this book is a complete entertainment entertainment and entertainment. Vidhi's arrogance to accept that she is attracted to vansh, her fierce nature has captured vansh's heart, heart, rohan's constant bantering with vidhi, Tani's struggle to fulfill her promise to vidhis mom, elders doing their aprt in setting up matches.. All very very excellently narrated.. MADHURI HAS NAILED IT. THIS IS SO FAR MY FAVOURITE BOOK MADHURI.
I am speechless & mesmerised after reading this story. I had loved Madhuri’s last novel Fallen but this is on another level & no thing that I would write here can justify my emotions for this book. It’s a flawless, amazing read which will keep u on the edge throughout. A story that you would not able to forget so soon.
It has everything- angst, love, jealousy, tease, longing, family ties, warmth & bangers between friends… everything concocted in the same story and I can assure it will have your heart. Kudos to Madhuri, you did it again.
Every time I pick up a book by Madhuri Tamse I fall in love with her books. From reading her first novel to reading her latest books, her books get more wonderful. Mrs & Mrs Kapoor is a beautiful romance. I recommend this book to all romantics. Please write faster Ms Madhuri I eagerly await your next novel.

AND THE SIDE COUPLES??? IM GASPING FOR AIR, THIS BOOK IS WRITTEN BY MADHURI WHEN CUPID POSSESSED HER SOUL
For a book peppered with English so incorrectly used, the book is too long, especially when various other factors are just as incorrect or worse.
A born and brought up European woman, thst too a Viennese - presumably German - not only marries an Indian visitor after a mere two days of acquaintance, which is already stretching credibility, but thereafter hunts gor an Indian match for her half Indian daughter who speaks Hindi despite the Indian father and husband spending only half his time with them in Vienna, because she thinks it's more security for the daughter.
What's more, she values joint families and so on as part of evaluation of the prospective match!
It's unclear why, if she thought so well of Indian males and joint families, she didn't move to India to live with her husband.
As to the match she found for the daughter, did she merely pounce on the one who approached her gir his heirloom he was hunting that ended with her, or did she look at other prospects and found him better?
The groom's friend moreover attempts to dissuade him from accepting, arguing that the said groom is too highly valuable a commodity for the said daughter - before he's aware of anything whatsoever about the said daughter; what's more, the groom agrees with the friend regarding his own valuation as commodity in marriage market, despite this proposed bride being not quite an Indian bride in market whether as a commodity or a buyer!
And the final twist, he sees her and is attracted - this sole thread providing the soft porn base throughout the book! ***
At a point somewhere in the beginning of this book, author talks of there being no proof of the marriage that took place in Vienna, with a small wedding conducted in church.
This is as ignorant as it gets.
For one, church weddings are recorded by the church authorities in their own, church documentation, hence providing evidence.
For another, it's a legitimate ceremony, once the priest has pronounced the couple wedded, and thereafter it's legally binding, in any part of the world, possibly with exception of societies only bound by islamic law, which only validates islamic procedures between islamic parties.
So it isn't a matter of whether the couple ignores the past or rakes it up, but a genuine matter of whether they divorce one another, before contracting another marriage. Else the said other marriage, of either of the two, can be legitimately broken by the previous spouse making the previous marriage public.
It's also a good question why neither of the couple has found anyone else for five years, much less married someone else, despite the groom being so valuable a commodity as his friend points out (and the groom agrees), and the girl being a half German with such attractive personality as the groom falls for headlong! ***
Looking at the author's name, it's a fair question to say, why the Kapoor in the title, why not go for a setting of her own community? It could be that she's genuinely more comfortable in a more cosmopolitan setting, or that she didn't wish to restrict herself to be faithful to reality if she were to set her work against the background of her own community.
But it's perhaps also indicative of the fact that, in the process of denying Marathi - or in any way local - character of Mumbai, those imposing a cosmopolitan tapestry thereon have lost their own individuality. They may claim their roots from time to time, but to natives of land of and around Mumbai, that's just noise to be ignored along with the ever present roar of traffic, especially trains, and has no reality. The reality of the said roots flourishes where the said roots are, and it can't be transplanted to the tough rocky reality of the land that Mumbai lives surrounded in.
This isn't that different from the umpteen diverse 'proper' accents and pronunciations of the language still named English, but the very nomenclature now in quandary - in terminology of various US institutions or organisations, for example, they refer to 'British literature ', either keeping the term 'English literature' to that of US, or generalising it; but the said generalisation is closet racist, since it usually fails to include writing in English language by say, citizens of former colonies.
Another, always quoted as a joke but perfectly real for all that, is the feeling expressed by one US citizen - but felt by most of them - about the English having changed 'their' language - i.e., that of US! ***
Curiously, English used in this work isn't just idiomatically Indian - and not deliberately so; it's more of a westernised educated Indian cliques on kjo shows that it reminds one of. There's serious deficiency in their level of English language as they use it, while they deliberately or otherwise speak bad English, translating Indian phrases instead of using correct English ones, and occasionally a Valley Girl lingo phrase interspersed for an effect, to impress audiences about their being world savvy.
Somewhere in the process of picking out the author's atrocious usages in language that irritate - at a level something between thorn in heel and sand in food - one begins to realise that this author is Marathi only in name;
Her first language, her sole language seems to be Hindi. And that's what she's translating from, non stop, as she proceeds with writing in English.
The review consists, for most part, of the mistakes, in language - and idioms - that pepper the book. Mistakes by author in language related matter are just too many, so we'll mark the book and dispense mentioning them after the first few that shocked and surprised. ***
Author names her heroine Vidhi.
Vidhi, unlike routinely assumed, isn't female gender but us male, despite the 'i' ending.
It's unclear if the author is unaware of this, or whether it's a silent comment about such ignorance on part of a knowing Marathi author on the modern, western used North Indian seeking Indian roots.
Unless, of course, it's intended to mean recipe. But one doubts that.
A safer bet is, author - and anyone else who named a daughter Vidhi - never stopped to think what the word meant. ***
Some of the words and phrases used incorrectly throughout the book includes 'eloped', 'ignore' and 'ignorance', ... 'leave' used instead of 'let go', and much, much more.
'taking responsibility of', ...
'hidden marriage', ...
'kicked him out from this city', ...
'guilt from the past five years' ...
'pops the Champagne' ...
'Fisting my fingers', ...
'Leave my hand' ...
"How dare you?” "“Dare me later, first ... ", ...
" ... he followed me into the house till my room, ... ", ...
" ... If Vansh is my friend, you are my sister. ... ", ...
"“You don’t really seem convinced to me.”", ...
"“Where are you lost?”", ...
"" ... We will progress with this only when you are comfortable. ... "", ...
"“I thought you would be staying to know my preferences,” Vidhi mocks ... "
"The servant gets the juices, and we all pick our glasses. ... "
" ... they have such high egos that they don’t mind ruling their spouses.”" ***
"“You are blackmailing me.”
"“No. Please don’t think so. I am just giving you a decent offer. ... " ***
" ... I was used to women swooning over me and pandering to my every whim, but Vidhi did no such thing. She was ignorant to my charm ... "
" ... don’t come here without a prior appointment, which I’m sure you two forgot to take.”"
" ... She pulled the cake out of the oven and stared at it aghast. It was completely burnt from the sides."
"“I am not Vansh’s wife.”
"“I wish you weren’t. He deserves someone who understands the sanctity of the marriage, not a runaway bride like you.”
"“Mind you, Rohan. You have no right to speak to me about it.”"
Do you want me to drop you, or should I just get lost from here, leaving you to find another vehicle for a ‘lift’? ... "
" ... I assure you, the day I feel that I am capable enough, I will surely take up that role. ... "
"“Ma’am, Angela D’costa from the Huskin Group is here to see you.”
"“Oh yes, please get her seated in the conference room. I will be there in five minutes.”"
" ... I pack my stuff and one of my team members whose name I still don’t recall asks me if he can drop me home. I’m about to deny him when he looks behind me and gets flustered."
Isn't it the basic difference between deny and refuse that's one of the first things taught in high school if not earlier? Why's the author using it incorrectly, and didn't her editor catch it?
" ... Huh? He didn’t even wait for me to deny his offer to drop me home. ... "
"“I and Damini had collated some alliances for Vidhi. We had been there to brief her on the same.”"
Who talks like that? In even official settings, much less in privacy of family and home?
"“Enough with your plans, Daadi. Holi is still a week away. Now tell me where your herbal oil is, I will massage your feet.”
"Though she denies it, I still fetch it for her and gently massage her feet. ... "
"Rohan scowls at me without my family seeing him. He then greets everyone, takes Daadi’s blessings and tells them he came here to meet them as it had been a long time they had met. ... "
" ... When I turn to thank Rohan, he is still glaring at me for involving him in this matter. He wants Vidhi to walk out from my life as soon as possible so that I am freed from the sham of a marriage which according to him I did only for the Kapoor heirloom ring. He wouldn’t understand how important Vidhi and my relationship with her is to me. ... "
" ... I had to talk to Vansh and give him an earful about it so that this does not happen again, which is why I am here at VK mansion at 08:00 pm, straight after my office hours."
"As soon as I step into the living room, my step falters as it dawns on me this house could have been my home had I and Vansh had a normal marriage. I can literally visualize myself relaxing on the plush white seven-seater sofa, having meals with the family at their 12-seater dining table, cooking meals in the white marble kitchen island, working out in the gym at the corner room and at the end of the day, taking those circular stairs up which probably leads to the bedrooms, specifically Vansh’s bedroom. I can visualize spooning him and sleeping on the huge king size bed, Gosh! The very image of me cuddling Vansh on the bed, my lips grazing the soft line of the hair sprinkled on his chest, while he strokes my back to put me to sleep after a few passionate rounds of love making, with our legs entwined with each other’s brings goosebumps on my skin."
Supposedly there for the first time and that only to tell him off for stopping the matchmaking process set up for her, is she instead on an inspection tour of the mansion, unaccompanied by even a servant?
Or is author attempting to copy a famous Jane Austen scene but with publisher's requirements for soft porn satisfied, rather than keeping it decent as Austen did?
"He does not leave any chance to tease me, but I don’t care."
" ... Vansh keeps the pan on the burner. Vansh has already kept the rice to cook in the Microwave. ... Every single hair on the back of my neck pricks with awareness with his scorching gaze on my body."
"“You don’t have to offer me anything,” he mentions before taking the soiled tissue from my hand and putting it inside the bin."
"She gives me a tight hug and my eyes lock with Vansh’s again. ... "
"So, wearing a white salwar kurta, and draping a veil around my neck, ... "
That's an atrociously bad translation for the Indian 'odhni' or 'chunari', a covering women use to cover top parts of body, used sometimes as scarf, but not as a veil.
"Taani instantly takes blessings from Daadi and hugs Damini aunty. I am new to these rituals of taking blessings and all, as I have never done it ever before ... "
"I reach below the tree where I can easily stretch my arms and get her down, but she sways her legs, kicking my arm away. “Nope. I like it here. I am not coming down.”"
"“Vidhi please, get down.”"
" ... She playfully scolds me why I had left without informing her. ... "
"I peck her cheek and get inside the backseat of my new Audi car. For now, she has also hired a driver for me as I am not very much familiar with the roads. Soon, when I am more comfortable, I’ll ride this baby myself. ... "
" ... He watches me intently from head to toe before fixing his gaze on my face as I near him. ... "
" ... If that was a mistake, then why did you commit that mistake with me only? ... "
" ... I am still in the parking lot, from how long, I have no idea."
" ... You spent almost millions hiring private detectives to find Vidhi’s whereabouts, but never succeeded. ... "
That 'almost millions' is curious - does it mean one million, nine hundred and ninety nine thousand, nine hundred ninety nine?
"“But what if she denies?” I mutter. “What if she doesn't want the same thing as I do? ... "
" ... I sit behind on the couch to give Vidhi space to sit in front of me. She frowns at first, and then quickly fakes showing interest in learning as she sees Taani."
" ... I glance at Vidhi who seems flustered on seeing me shake hands with the man who could be her prospective groom. Damn hell!!"
" ... She is not flirting with him, but this is nothing less than that either."
"He leaves my hand to speak to her."
" ... “Yes, actually a friend of mine is coming to pick me up and even though I denied-”"
"“Let me drop you till the lobby,” he offers and I can’t deny him. ... "
"“Yes, I did. I even found him very genuine, honest and most importantly, he seems to be a keeper, not someone who abandons.”
"“Vidhi, don’t get into that again, please.” he refutes. ... "
" ... I ask Rohan to reach here soon and he tells me he’s already on his way and would be at VK mansion within ten minutes. ... "
"“I wanted to know where Vansh gets his shoes from. Actually, I have to gift one to a friend soon.”"
"No way! I never wanted Vansh to know or even be suspicious that I wanted to know his toe size. ... "
" ... My driver had taken a sudden off today, so though Taani insisted she would drop me to work and also pick me up again in the evening, I had denied. I don’t want to bother her every time. I could manage coming in a cab for a day."
"“She was waiting for her cab, so I thought of dropping her on my way home.”
"“Good you did. Come inside. Have dinner with us. Sameer is also coming in some time.”
" ... She always blames me for being responsible for our failed marriage, despite knowing that she is equally responsible for the same. ... "
" ... During Holi too, I hadn’t left a chance to feel his muscular chest ... "
" ... Well, I am not going to let his happiness stay for long. ... "
"“Don’t lie to me,” she scolds. “Every time you ask me for a hug is when your mood is upset. ... "
" ... I better don’t recall how I melt every time he touches me. ... "
"“He’s gone on his grandfather to be honest,” Daadi continues. “My husband was the same. Ever since he couldn’t get the heirloom ring back for me, he was always upset; especially during his last days.”"
"“And you want me to be your driver again?” he refutes."
"“You know he drinks to this extent?” I ask Rohan ... "
"“You called me dumbo?” I growl.
"“I did, what will you do?”"
"Vidhi gets up lazily, rolls her hair into a bun and then climbs down from the bed."
" ... Why am I not remembering anything? ... "
" ... He’s just acting pricey, as I have troubled him a lot in these past years. ... "
" ... it’s probably on the balcony as that was the first place I went after reaching home to smoke. ... "
"“This is exactly what you did from the last three days. ... "
"“That's because you were looking for Vidhi Holler, Vansh. And I never used my maiden name. I had my father’s surname. Your detectives were looking for Vidhi Holler and not Vidhi Gupta. ... "
But Gupta IS Vidhi’s maiden name!
Holler is maiden name of her mother, Vianca.
" ... "That is a man’s reward when he helps his wife with the kitchen chores. And to be honest, I wanted to do the same when I saw you first, baking a cake for your mother back in Austria.”"
Author uses official lingo - 'the same' - in informal or intimate situations, while in reality it's rarely used in conversations of even official nature, including of government circles.
"“The other day when we had gone for dinner, I saw you staring at a woman wearing it at the next table. That’s when I decided to give you this and what better time than tonight to gift you the same?”"
Here, it's even more inappropriate - obviously it's not 'the same'!
" ... I smile, and remove the Mangalsutra from the box and hand it over to him. “Make me wear it.”"
That's a horrible way to express 'put it on me'.
"He happily obliges. He slides the chain around my neck and hooks it from behind. ... "
Obviously author isn't comfortable in English, but that's perhaps true of most of those with expensive, convent or otherwise westernised school education in India.
Correct idiom, 'at the back'.
"Without a word, Vansh opens the box, and as expected, he is stunned. Anybody would be in his place. Vansh Kapoor was behind this heirloom ring for so many years, and today it was finally in his possession. His surprised gaze oscillates between the ring and me as he touches the ring with reverence."
Correct idiom is 'was after this', not 'was behind this'.
" ... I opened her safe deposit locker. I knew the pin for the same as I’d seen Mom entering it once. ... "
Would be easier to use 'that' instead of the offensive, unnatural 'the same'!
" ... You know I hated the very reason we got married in the first place. Plus, I had just known about Mom’s cancer. ... "
'Moreover, I had just come to know' is the correct one. 'Plus, I had just known' is multiply offensive.
" ... secondly, just like how Vansh wants to make me his completely, I too want to mark him as mine forever. ... "
That 'as' is so incorrectly used, and not merely offensive, but also completely unnecessary, it not funny.
"Airport? What’s going on? As soon as she disconnects the call, I ask her the same."
" ... Vansh doesn't let me get down the car without ... "
" ... Earlier it was just us, me and Mom, whereas now I have a loving husband, a caring sister and an annoying yet protective friend Rohan, ... "
" ... The clients were super impressed by my presentation ... "
That 'super' is bad enough, but then author gets much worse.
" ... I am about to call Vansh to give him this news when the lightning strikes. It’s going to rain here tonight. ... "
Author seems to have no clue about correct use of 'when the lightning strikes'.

My review
I'm so glad I read this book. It was a complete package. It was touching and fun. I fell in love with the characters. The writing is simple and the story is touching. I have always liked maduhri's books and this one was marvelous,Thank you once again @madhuri for the ARC i thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
🎢Tropes🎢: second chances, enemies to lovers, sister’s best friend, marriage of convenience. UwU.
🌸just finished this book literally two minutes ago and here I am writing a review. Yes, I am that crazy about it. I could just talk about “Mr. and Mrs. Kapoor”- the third installment of the “Mr. and Mrs. Series” for hours and still would have so much to say about it. 🌷🌼🌻🌹🌺
🌸This book taught me that in a marriage, efforts=love. It cannot thrive on its own, it needs to be cultivated. Communication is the lifeline of any marriage, it’s the ultimate bond of all companionship. 🌈🌜❄
💌The Characters💌
🥀“She has fire in her soul and grace in her heart”. Vidhi's character would make you think “I wanna be that girl one day”. she is feisty, strong, and fearless. Sass is her middle name ;) .She is the polar opposite of the “Damsel in Distress " and her comebacks and banters with Rohan are to die for. But despite having a solid exterior she is extremely caring, compassionate, and benevolent. Vidhi is an acquired taste that you’ll become addicted to, eventually. 💖🍓🦋
🥀 I read it somewhere that a 'good husband makes a good wife', a quote which is so apt for this book. Vansh Kapoor is the kind of husband who would wipe your tears, hug you tight, watch you succeed, love you at your best, and love you even more at your worst. I fell head over heels for him from the very start. He is definitely making it to my ‘favorite book boyfriends’ list. 🙈💃🧸
🌸 The “we knew it all along” situation never fails to amaze me✨. This book truly deserves the love it is receiving. I can say on record that I gasped more than I breathed when I reached the last 10% of this. Also, the second leads aka Taani and Rohan are soooooo adorable. Desperately waiting for their stories!!!! 🔮💞🌈🌠
An excellent read for those who value love and family. It is easy to move on from a marriage which was hidden from the world including your own family with a supporting fact that you never get to live with your spouse. They both ceased to exist for each other, physically.
But, somewhere down the line, their hearts knew, where they belong and hence destiny played along.
The author has magically woven their love story. A story of togetherness with right amount of emotions and romance.
Vansh is a charming man, a kind that every girl desires. He would move heaven and earth for the ones he love.
Vidhi, equally values her family and loved ones. She would put her family and their needs above anyone else.
For him, she was family, the moment he laid his eyes on her. For her, he was an intruder who had his selfish intentions for marrying her.
What happens when she gets to know the real Vansh? And, despite of not believeing in their marriage, why her emotions are haywire around him?
To know, please read Mr. and Mrs. Kapoor. I loved it. It took me 2 days to complete the book and I rejoiced every part of it.
P.S. I was tempted to check my husband's toe after finishing the book.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
The story is simple but Madhu has woven it beautifully that you'll love it from start to end. I loved Vansh and Vidhi and engaging with them was fun. The side characters have an impact of their own. I simply loved Taani and I really want her story in another book Madhu. She is my kind of woman. Independent and lovely. We rarely get that blend in fiction.
The highlight of this book is the way Madhu has dealt with intimacy. Often on Kindle reads I've seen physical intimacy either being the too hot to handle kind or pure vanillaic. But here Madhu creates a middle path. Like I told her the intimacy is more like a vancho cake. With both the extremes but made into something unique. I hope we get more of this type in future.
What makes this work stand out is Madhu's experience at writing which shows in how she paints a simple story in an interesting manner. Keep up the good work Madhu. Usually writers get stagnant and repetitive after writing for long. You write simple stories yet can have our attention hooked. Expecting more from you in future. All the best ❤
Like the other 2 books in this series, this one too is about a married couple, but with a completely different twist
Our hero Vansh is asked by his best friend Taani to help search for eligible boys for her half-sister Vidhi, who turns out to be his estranged missing wife, and our heroine
Vansh, while acting to help Taani, tries to woo his wife back and in the process, falls even harder for her ... how Vidhi falls in love with her husband and how they bring this out in front of his family and her sister is what this cute, sweet, passionate, exciting and endearing love story is about
There are just a few characters in the story but each one plays the right role and you love all of them, be it Taani, Sameer, Rohan, Daadi, Vidhi's mom or Damini aunty

I really really loved the tale of Vidhi and vansh who are both strong headed characters and are persistent in their approach. The chemistry, the dripping passion and the overflowing romance makes this one a perfect piece of art. I enjoyed reading this book for what it brought out of two individuals to develop them into a strong couple. The way he fights for her is the showstopper. A wholesome read that surpasses expectations!
The book is another sweet addition to Mr and Mrs series. I have read and liked all your books till now Madhuri. Eagerly waiting for Taani and Rohan's story now.
Mr and Mrs Kapoor is a 3rd book in the series Mr and Mrs and cab be read as standalone. Its was so good and a beautiful read so far!
Vansh and vidhi the main protagonist of the story.
5 years ago When Vansh got to know of his family heirloom from his daadi which his grandpa sold for the sake of the family. He decided to bring it back for her. In search of it he went Austria where the current owner were. The search of heirloom made him married to a beautiful girl Vidhi but the next day of marriage vidhi elope why the reason was unknown to him. No one knows about the marriage and the eloping of his bride except his friend Rohan who was in Austria with him.
In these 5 year after her elope vansh tried hard to find her, hired the best detective to search for her but all goes in vain. She was nowhere to be found. But now she came back to his life as a stepsister of his best friend taani.
Vansh was really happy to see her back but vidhi behaviour shook them away. She didn't accepts him as her husband and ignored him. Vansh being shocked didn't knew how to react and what to do? After sometime when taani told him about finding a nice guy for vidhi as it was her mother's last wish vansh got tense but what shocked him more was vidhi agreeing with her. How can a woman go for groom hunt when she is married?
What happened after? Does she find a another groom🤭? Did vansh get to know the reason of her elope? Do they get together? Did vansh find the heirloom?
So much twist and turns which make you to continue reading nonstop. The story is full with the cuteness and sweetness. Vidhi and vansh banter🤪🤭. It was so amazing how beautifully author planned the story. And vansh Kapoor aah my heart ❤️
I want him for myself. Character like vansh are the reason of readers never endings book boyfriend sorry he was book husband.

Just finished reading Mr and Mrs Kapoor by Madhuri Tamse. This book is a cute, romantic, and sweet love story of Vidhi and Vansh who were two different people brought up in different countries but strongly believed in love and family values.
This is a simple story of marriage followed by separation and ends with happily ever after. It is the narration and sarcastic attitude of both male and female protagonists that make this story unique and intriguing.
The story is told from the point of view of male protagonists Vansh Kapoor and female protagonist Vidhi Gupta. Both are strong-headed characters who are persistent and know their priorities in life.

3.7 ⭐ Madhuri Tamse’s “Mr and Mrs Kapoor” is a charming, slow-burn romance that beautifully captures the tension, misunderstandings, and eventual emotional reconciliation between Vansh and Vidhi. The hidden-marriage trope is executed well, with enough banter and family drama to keep the story engaging. The chemistry between the leads is palpable, and I genuinely enjoyed their emotional journey.
That said, some parts felt a bit predictable, and a few subplots could have been explored more deeply. Vidhi’s occasional indecisiveness was slightly frustrating, but Vansh’s persistence and warmth balanced it out nicely. Overall, it’s a sweet, entertaining read for romance lovers who enjoy light family drama, secret marriages, and a slow-burning reconnection.
Fantastic, funny and full of giggles and sizzles..
I adored this story. Its a filmy & passionate romance. Vansh- Vidhi's banter is super cute, & their chemistry is eleCTRIC.
The story flows through all of the plot twists smoothly.
I'm in love with Kapoor famiLy & their bond. Vansh is a total family man and i can't get enough of him. After Aarav from Fallen, vansh is my new favorite.
Madhuri is truly a magician to plOt stories that are funny, passionate, romantic, hEA. I can't wait to read the love story of Taani and Sameer.
Mr. and Mrs. Kapoor is a perfect mix of passion, drama, and heartfelt moments. Madhuri Tamse writes with such intensity that you can’t help but be swept up in the emotions of the story. I really enjoyed how the relationship between the characters unfolded—it had layers of love, conflict, and vulnerability that made them feel real and relatable. The chemistry was off the charts, yet the emotional depth kept me invested till the very end. A truly engaging and addictive read!
The author skillfully weaves a simple yet captivating story that will keep you engrossed from beginning to end. I found myself thoroughly enjoying the characters Vansh and Vidhi and the interactions I had with them were delightful. The supporting characters also left a lasting impact, particularly Taani, who I believe deserves her own story in another book. She is a truly unique and independent woman, a rare blend that is not often found in fiction.
Vansh is portrayed as a committed individual who values his relationships, but his temper often gets the best of him, leading to a five-year separation from Vidhi. Vidhi, on the other hand, may come across as having attitude, but she deeply loves her mother and cannot tolerate any disrespect towards her. This leads her to break off a marriage after just one day and disappear with her mother. Despite the hardships, Vansh remains dedicated to their marriage and continually strives to mend their relationship.
The undeniable chemistry between the characters is a prominent feature of this book. What sets it apart is the author's skillful approach to portraying intimacy. The intimacy in this book can be likened to a deliciously layered cake, with elements of both intensity and subtlety. It is refreshing to encounter this unique blend. Hopefully, we can look forward to more of such exceptional storytelling in the future. The standout quality of this work lies in the author's writing expertise, evident in how she captivates readers with seemingly simple narratives. Despite their simplicity, her stories have a remarkable ability to grab our attention.
