Very depressing storyline

Most of this storyline is depressing. There are not a lot of positive emotions. if you read to escape, this is not a series to pick

im the verge of Dnfing...... the FMC is sooo chiche and inconsistent. she said before learning about magic she was the odd one out to the point of no having friends, not even a boyfriend. as in like not even someone in the most strict religions would have had such an isolated life. it would be more credible if she said things a long the lines of not been close to anybody but having acquaintances......... like surgace level friendships........ you're not going to tell me that during her teenage years she did not even kiss a friend, idk i dont like it when FMCs are portrayed like this. then the mother of FMC is also inconsistent: one day she doesn't want to go to the magic world, but then the next day she is moving back?

FMC is tooo eager to talk about sex and think of sex, too much that this just feels like fan service. why would you think so much about something you haven't had? I find their friends ridiculous as well.

MMC is a little plain but he has more substance than FMC.

but ... im half way there, I'll update once I finished.

A lot could be said about this story.
I found it well plotted and it's the plot that kept me going as well as the friendship group forming, even though I was often on the verge of dnfing this book as there are also a lot of inconsistencies on the page.
I was also curious how the author would deal with both main characters having disabilities. I found that their disabilities was being used as a trope. Whenever handy the disability was brought in, otherwise, both main characters were not handicapped at all by their respective disability and behaved like abled bodies.

an enjoyable read so far except one thing that really bothers me is the author keeps calling telekinesis abilities telepathy and that seems very minor but if you're going to use magic and abilities that are familiar to a lot of people the least you can do is call it by the right name. Especially when it's magic the characters use a lot.
