1. I feel sorry for the main leading character and think everyone feels the same. It explains lots of things in the first book. However, I still feel that her character is not consistent between "Hidden Love" and "First Frost". The writer made her almost the victim of the SA in most of the places she lived and the writer also used the same trick twice, which is uncreative in my opinion. It seems that the writer just wanted to put lots of tragedy on her to make her pitiful as much as possible.
My first impression of her during "Hidden Love" is that she was a bold and confident girl, but in "First Frost", she was quiet and kept most things to herself. I think I would enjoy the story much more if the writer keeps her character as a sassy girl who did not afraid to speak her mind, as I perceived her at first. I think she would be a good match with the male leading character.
2. The pacing of the story-telling is so extremely slow in my opinion. The story is a bit uneventful multiple times during the first two books. The development of their relationship took years with little progress. It is so time-consuming.
3. I do not quite like the translation in multiple parts.
Will I re-read this? Probably no. 2.5/5.
