So, I thought that parts of this book were really great. I felt that the subplot of revenge was really good and I loved that Kelly played an active role.
What I didn't like so much was that it kind of felt like not much happened. Poor Kelly was just sitting around for about half the book. I also wanted a scene from when she had her baby or immediately after so that we could feel the emotion from Ricardo but the ending skipped that and propelled further in time.
I liked both Ricardo and Kelly. I didn't see or feel them really get closer though. It was an insta-lust situation and then they weren't even really with each other long, and then it was an insta-love situation. The book glossed over their "getting to know you" stage with a quick summary of it. I think I would have liked to have read about Ricardo and Kelly both thawing out toward each other.
The epilogue confused me. When I finished the main part of the book, I thought they were in love. Then in the epilogue, it sounds like she hates him. I feel like I missed something somewhere.
I liked the IDEA of this book. I feel like if it were elongated and some scenes were written out more that I would have liked the book itself as a whole.

Ricardo and Kerry:
1) I would not call 167 pages a full length novel. It is more of a novella.
2) The book description calls for extreme dominance over a woman who fights against it. The dominance is not extreme and she is willing to submit.
3) It is entertaining. There is plenty of drama, betrayal, some action scenes, murder and an unplanned pregnancy. A rival Don is after both of them for the death of his reckless and dangerous son.
Conclusion:
Overall, it is a short decent story. Not dark at all. It is a quick read.

I loved this book it was great, the author has done it again another amazing book that is so much action, violence, murder, torture, pain, enemies, suspense, shootings. Kerry just about lost everything when her sister was driving their parents out so they can drink and celebrate until a drunk driver took them out, killed her sister and put her parents in hospital for months. Kerry went to her sisters funeral when she was propositioned and they will pay her parents medical bills and put a little bit extra for herself, the down side with receiving the money from Don Ricardo and they always collect. Kerry hates everything Mafia, Don Ricardo hates rude people and Kerry is not scared of him. When they touch they feel the zap will they change from hate to love.

This was an okay book but I found there were lots of inconsistencies that took away from the story and prevented me from getting into it. First she gets pregnant even though they use a condom… my understanding is it has to break for it to be faulty? Next the author calls the main character Kelly and Kerry interchangeably… what is her name supposed to be? There’s a scene where they say they got drunk together but she’s supposed to be pregnant? There are some gaps in the story that I would have liked to read like their first days after marriage etc.
I also found her attitude towards her dad finding out she’s getting married was very bratty. How can you expect your dad to be supportive if you’ve given him nothing to work with and are marrying this dangerous stranger. Just blah didn’t like this.

Kelly is on her way to her sister Jody's funeral while her parents are in the hospital from Don Columbo's son Alessandro killing Jody and hurting her parents. She finds out that her parents are three months late on their bank loan. She's being robbed on the train when a man gets on the train and scares the robbers away. Don Ricardo that is instantly attracted to Kelly and wants her very much. He ends up at her sisters funeral and offers her his help. The story has plenty of suspense, intrigue, darkness, betrayal, violence, action, instant attraction, twists/turns, emotions, passion and steam. Will Don Bianchi get Kelly to marry him to protect her? Will they get their HEA? Still don't understand the name Kerry in the story as the other character was named Kelly. Great Mafia romance story.

This was my second Rosa Milano book, I did like Savage Beauty more but felt Ravaged Bride was a solid read in the Mafia Kings series. Ricardo was the typical mafia Don, all alpha and commanding with a soft side for Kelly. Kelly had just lost her sister to a drunk driver when she crosses paths with Ricardo, who offers to take out the offender since he happens to be the son of a rival Don. They hook up and she finds out she’s pregnant. The rest of the story is fairly predictable and lacked some of the action/excitement of her previous book but was still an enjoyable enough read to keep you engaged to the end. It’s also a super quick read at 170 pages- perfect for busy people who also love to read! I look forward to what she comes up with next!.

Riccardo & Kerry’s story was an enemies to lovers romance. Kerry is in a situation where her family has been injured and killed leading her into the hands of a deal with the mafia. This was an action packed storyline with drama, pain, emotions, danger, action, violence, chemistry, intrigue and passion. The characters develop along there journey. And it is a captivating read.

Looking for a surrogate mother, Don Needs an heir
Fate has a hand in the Don’s plans, he has no time or emotion, only work, his best car breaks down, he catches a train and that’s the start, a chance meeting on the way to a funeral. After a rescue on the train, she thanks him and leaves. Don is upset she is gone but has to deal with work and that comes first.
He is in for surprise though, at the church. Great story, happy ending.

Kelly gets saved by a stranger on the way to her sisters funeral. Instant attraction but both have other things on their minds. Once the identities are revealed to save her Ricardo gets her to marry him and while planning for one year they each catch feelings. There will be tears and much love.

This was a short but good mafia story about Don Bianchi and Kelly who meet on a train to a funeral they are both attending. Don Bianchi decides to help Kelly out by giving her money to help out her parents and after that it’s all crazy and a lot of things happen!.

Love Love This Book!
Yes, this is a mafia-related book, but also love story from their first meeting. My first read of this author and I'm honored to have a first read.

A fantastic, riveting read. Deliciously dark and dangerous. Great characters, and a well written storyline. Would recommend. Will read more from this author.

Good book
Lots of action and shooting. I loved the humor and the scenes are hot and spicy. The characters are vibrant and each one are totally different and amazing.

Kerry’s parents are badly injured in a car crash that kills her sister. The cause of the accident was a drunk driver but he’s a Dons son, so the police don’t even bother to breathalyse him.
She meets Ricardo Bianchi three times in one day. The first is when he comes to her aid, the second is at her sisters funeral service and the third is when they have passionate tryst in his hotel suite.
Ricardo believes himself to be a cold man incapable of feelings. He is the Don of a rival familia to the one responsible for Kerry’s loss.
He believes that feelings make him weak until he meets Kerry. She makes him feel and the more time he spends with her the more he wants to keep her….
This was an enjoyable read that entertains at a steady pace. The relationship between Kerry and Ricardo is passionate although sometimes problematic for her family.
