T. S. Kinley is a passion project created by two sisters with a shared obsession and vision. We came together with the dream of creating something beautiful, imaginative, and yes… SEXY.

Once upon a Time… it all began with sisterly gossip about erotica and romance novels. Our conversations quickly became fantasies about our own desires to author such work. We would muse how someday in a utopian future, our fantasy would become reality. Ultimately we decided rather than wait for the future to find us, we would create utopia ourselves. Using our love of books, natural gift of creativity, and some savvy study on publishing itself, the concept for our very first book was born.

We started off as a Cosmetologist and an RN, and quickly developed into a dynamic writing team with a style that lends a unique perspective to our books. Second To The Right; book one of The Neverland Chronicles is a reverse harem erotic continuation on the beloved classic telling of Peter Pan.

this was aggressively fine. could use a lot of editing but it was *fine*. I did have some serious issues with the world building, Pan is supposed to bring Gwen back to Neverland for “spring cleaning”, a term repeated multiple times but as a reader we don’t get an explanation for what that is. There’s some brief, surface level explanations of the purpose of May Day but i would’ve liked more.

The characters themselves were so extremely one dimensional with no personalities and minimal chemistry. Why are 4 boys suddenly so obsessed with a girl who “isn’t like other girls” and thinks every other female character she interacts with is a bitch? idk couldn’t tell you. Gwen is brought to Neverland without a fight, is plopped into an unfamiliar setting and immediately wants to fuck Pan and the lost boys.

I love a peter pan retelling/reimagining and this had SO much potential (esp the why choose) and it just fell short for me in pretty much every aspect.

Just no… idk what was worse. I was so so excited because I felt hollow after finishing the Never King series. If you were looking for something to fill that void… this isn’t it. The bad grammar, bad sentence structure, the juvenile writing, the poorly written smut. It was pretty much unbearable to finish. If I read one more sentence with a “!” in it I wanted to toss my tablet. There was no world building. There was Gwen gaslighting Peter Pan into sharing her. 0 connection between the lost boys and her. It was just so bad. Unfortunately I’m not a DNF reader, but I wish I never completed this.

As a whole, it was okay. The American slang and use of "mom" from a girl supposed to be from London destroyed the vision a bit for me. If you're going to write about a girl from England, then put in the research and use the appropriate language.

I felt the story itself was a bit fast paced, and if the book was a bit longer, it could have been fleshed out a little more. There are also some spelling, punctuation and grammatical errors that should be addressed. The writing style was fine, almost a little old fashioned (though I'm not sure if this was on purpose), but I feel like there was a lot of exclamation marks, and there was just sections which reminded me of angsty teenage writing on Wattpad.

Gwen as a character was alright, but I didn't really like her that much. She was a bit whiney as opposed to the badass vixen I feel like the authors wanted her to be, especially with all males (including Hook) ready to drop to their knees to be with her, when she hadn't really done much that was worthy of their "I'll unalive anyone that looks at you and I want you to be my queen" attitudes. Speaking of Hook, I wanted to learn more about him and see more of him, as opposed to just two sections in passing where Gwen suddenly decides I'll sleep with the enemy of the guys I'm supposed to be falling for. I love a bad boy, but I wanted to just see more.

As a whole, like I say, the story was okay, but it almost felt like a bit more could've gone into it so I could have enjoyed it more, because it just felt rushed and very early draft. But that's just me, I'll still read the second one to find out what happens next.

This book started off strong for me. The Lost Boys 🥵 I have no words. You’ve got Peter the fearless leader and protector, Tripp the heroic white knight, Ryder the forever jokester and optimist, and Eben the bad boy who loves books. It’s safe to say that I fully understand why Gwen was unable to choose.

I usually am not one for why choose, reverse harem romances but this one actually caught my attention….. until the FMC started to seriously annoy me and the plot took a turn. The last half of the book basically became all about the spicy scenes which I’m all for but I personally need more plot in my books than this. I also am not a huge fun of Insta-lust which is exactly what this is.

Not sure if I will be continuing this series….

A new look at the Peter Pan story a very spicy look at it.. Peter Pan now a young man with needs and desires The book is definitely an adult version of the story with very spicy encounters in it.. Reading this you’ll never look at Peter Pan the same.. Good writing it’s just a little long winded at times but definitely worth reading..

Not horrendously bad, but it doesn't do anything with the Peter Pan premise that hasn't been done before and falls into annoying clichés. There are only two other "main" females aside from Gwen, Lilibell (knockoff Tinkerbell) and Tiger Lily (yup, she's in here), and they're essentially mean girls. Lilibell has a sexual history with the men and is a constant antagonistic bitch to Gwen. Tiger Lily doesn't even have much of a presence and Gwen is still immediately offended by her. Gwen has two character traits: horny and jealous. Her jealously is totally fine, however, because she loves the guys, despite knowing them for about a month. I don't even know what the plot is -everything revolves on Gwen's horniness and jealousy. There is certainly little to no mermaids, fae, or "darkness" to speak of. It reads like any other Peter Pan fanfic you can find online for free.

Tropes:
- Peter Pan Retelling
- Why Choose / Reverse Harem
- Possessive & overprotective males

As a whole, it was okay.. I felt like there could’ve been a bit more of a plot especially at the end. This ending just didn’t do it for me. It just felt really fast paced.

The lost boys is the reason on why I’m rating higher. Ryder caught my eye first and he is still my favorite lost boy but Tripp and Eben grew on me pretty quick. I don’t blame Gwen for not wanting to choose because I wouldn’t be able to either.

Gwen started to annoyed me towards the end of this book.. she made everything about herself and sometimes took the jealousy a little too far.

Overall, Peter Pan and the lost boys made this book very interesting and wonder where the second book is going to go. Are we going to get more of a plot?! We will see.

DNF @ ~70%

Non-spoilery review:
likes: distinguishability between characters (I remember this being an issue with a certain other Peter Pan retelling I've read). Also, the characters are all aged up, thank goodness.
dislikes: girl-on-girl fighting, a selfish FMC, and lack of a plot up to the 70% mark.

Now for the slightly spoilery review (continue reading at your own discretion):

It's not the worst Peter Pan retelling I've read. Let's start there.

BUT

There's no plot? I'm not just saying that because smutty books tend to have understated plots or the smut is the plot (that's fine; whatever), but this book actually has NO plot, up to the point where I stopped reading.

The story starts with the FMC getting cheated on by her boyfriend and dealing with the fact that her sick sister she's been taking care of after her parents died is likely going to die soon. Peter Pan shows up and takes her to Neverland.

At first, our FMC thinks she's dreaming and figures, hey, life sucks, so she goes along with it and decides to make the most of it. She lands in Neverland and quickly catches on to the idea that she is NOT dreaming. She has instant attraction to all the Lost Boys and... for some reason, she decides not to be upset with Peter Pan for taking her away from her sister. She doesn't demand he take her back. She doesn't want to think about her sick and dying sister worrying about her disappearance; no, she wants to think about how she's gonna get all this Neverland d-
Okay, so maybe there is a plot. Her goal is to get down and dirty with the Lost Boys. (If that's the case, though, the plot reaches its conclusion before the book does, so... Idk, I didn't finish the book.)

There's only one thing standing in her way to getting the Lost Boys and Peter Pan, though.
*cue the jealous girl-on-girl fighting/drama*
Lilibelle. (Spelling?) She's this story's version of Tinkerbell, I guess. Lilibelle has had all the boys, a fact the FMC hates. The FMC decided all the boys were going to be hers the moment she saw them, so Lilibelle's existence is a bit inconvenient. Lilibelle is jealous, too. Some very juvenile girl fighting ensues. The whole time I read their scenes together, I was talking to the book, going: "Please grow up. Just, grow up." I don't know what I was expecting. This is Neverland; the whole point is to NOT grow up.
The boys all become assholes toward Lilibelle because they've decided they want the FMC more.
*sigh*

Extra spoilery bit:
I think my biggest issue with this story is the fact that the FMC pursues a reverse harem relationship without regard for the feelings of ALL the people she includes in the relationship. The Lost Boys are onboard with sharing, cool, but Peter Pan tells her that he wants monogamy, yet is willing to share her if it's the only way he can have her. Because he loves her, or whatever. He's bothered by the fact that she wants his Lost Boys, too, going off to "think" while she reunites with them. Of course he's bothered by this; his ex Wendy ran off with his previous Lost Boys, leaving him alone. While he's off being sad and contemplative, she gets it on with all the Lost Boys. Good for her, but beforehand, all of them acknowledge that it will upset Pan. They do it anyway. When Peter Pan finds them the next morning, he is clearly hurt by the lack of inclusion but says nothing.

This is basically the point where I dropped the story.

Reverse harem situations? Super fine, super good.
RH situations in which not everyone is onboard with it? Not good.
RH situations in which one person's feelings are totally disregarded? Very not good.

A little consideration would make me like the FMC more.

Overall: wouldn't recommend, but it was an easy read.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
-Peter Pan Retelling
-Who did this to you trope
-Reverse Harem
-Possessive & overprotective males

One Sentence Synopsis: Gwen is taken to the world of Neverland where she is swept off her feet by Peter and the Lost Boys, but darkness lies in the seemingly perfect world, and she begins to forget her sister and everything she left behind.

Holy crapola! This book was so much fun to read. I literally could not put it down. Gwen and her harem of totally hawt men (Peter, Ryder, Eben, and Tripp) had my heart completely. Also, I’m so interested in James Hook, it’s not even funny. I think Tripp and Ryder are my favs though. Tripp was just so caring and Ryder was so flirty, I loved it. Overall, the characters really had a great dynamic with one another.

The story was well-planned out. My fav scenes were with Tripp, Ryder, and Gwen. I seriously cannot get enough of them. I did find myself wondering why Gwen wasn’t freaking out more about being in Neverland and forgetting her sick sister, but I’m also assuming that the power of Neverland helped that.

And that ending!!! Mean, that’s what it was. I have so many questions, but the most important one is when the hell can I read the next one??

Neverland? More like I never want to leave this book! (That was bad, I know. I don’t apologize. I am who I am and that comes with really shitty jokes)

DNF’d @ 64%.

I just couldn’t really take it anymore. There’s zero plot, very little spice, it reads young for 18+. Gwen had no…substance? She was just jealous or horny, all the time. At 64% I’d have expected to learnt a little more about the characters by now, but I don’t know anything about Peter and the Lost Boys.

This could have been great, like it wasn’t awful, it was just…blaaahhhh.

Two stars just because it’s set in Neverland and what little I knew of them, Peter and The Lost Boys get a star too.

The writing felt very juvenile to me, and normally that doesn’t bother me, but the amount of exclamation points was driving me insane. Gwen also was irritating me. She was overly sensitive and it felt like she was 15 years old

I wanted to keep going for the lost boys and Peter but I couldn’t get over the other stuff and honestly have no interest to keep going

Not for picky readers. FANTASTIC story line. Love, adventure, betrayal. What could go wrong?
Ok seriously here’s the rundown.
DISLIKES : first off, I’m not a grammar natzi or a punctuation snob but the use of the exclamation mark made me mad. It made it feel aggressive or like the person was yelling or being overly enthusiastic in a normal situation.
Secondly.
Our main character is very naive and immature. She’s 18 so I kind of get it but she’s very attention seeking and it seemed like she fell way to hard way to quick. At the first sight of trouble she acts very irrationally.
I believe the author is new so I’m not docking points because the story did get better slightly as she got the hang on writing this book.
Lastly, I wish there was a bit more description for the land and the characters just sprinkled in slightly throughout the book. I don’t know or remember what Gwen looks like.
LIKES: I freaking love how we get a taste of the real modern world and then beyond the veil . It’s very very reminiscent of the traditional Peter Pan tale and it gave me nostalgia. I love the boys characters personality’s and how she wrote Lill.
The bad guys are bad and I love that too.
The twist with Gwen’s sister is nice. I love that element of the story because it pulls on my heart strings.
There’s just something about a fairy tale man coming to your window to sweep you away from all your problems. And that’s exactly what this book does for me.
If you can get past the minor spelling errors and editing errors and the descriptions and just focus on this story line as a hole I’d say give it a go.
Can’t wait for book two.
On to the next!

How.....and I mean HOW does stuff like this get published?? And this was written by two different authors?? There aren't enough words in the English dictionary for how bad this was. I honestly question all of my life choices when I finish a book like this.🤮

There was no plot. In a nutshell basic bitch number one arrives in Neverland and proceeds to fall in love with four men IN A DAY (unironically I might add). Throw in some lackluster sex scenes that read like preteen written fanfiction and some truly horrific dialogue and you have the absolute garbage fire that is this book. Also how misogynistic is it for every other female on the Island to be written as jealous but curvy (no other details needed apparently) and for the whole purpose for basic bitch number one even being on the island is to take part in some yearly orgy to boost Neverland's fertility? Get the fuck.

Honestly when she got railed by Hook I rolled my eyes so hard I nearly had a seizure. I'm off to give myself a lobotomy. 👋

To all the girls who fell in love with Peter Pan and grew up to be adults who still dream of being whisked away to live with Peter and his lost boys. This one is for you.

This retelling weaves in and out of the original Peter Pan we all know and love and adding some new story too.I absolutely fell in love with this retelling. Gwen is searching for more to her sad life that basically just consists of caring for her sick sister and trying to mentally make it through the days: and boy did she find it. I fell head over heels for the lost boys and Peter along with her. They are all different and in the best ways. Each bring a side of dark and light that just weaves together so seamlessly. The detail of Neverland is portrayed so well. I feel like I didn’t read this book but watched the movie instead. Also, Hook?! Holy smokes. This SPICY retelling is the best I’ve read to date! I don’t know that I could ever get enough of this Peter and his lost boys 🤍

I enjoyed the concept of this book but I don't know about the execution.

Icks:
-both the jealousy plot lines and the “I can't have you even though I seduced you” was hella weird and unnecessary to me. It felt like adding tension just for the sake of tension.
-I hate that so much of Gwen's internal dialogue consisted of her dreading the little amount of time she had left in Neverland. She hadn't even been there for 2 days and was already like: My time here is running out!!” shut uuuuuup.
-Gwen wouldn't stop being like: “but that's different from the story Wendy/Grandma told me??!!” over and over and it was so freakin’ repetitive! We get it! This ain't your grandma's Neverland! (Ooh. That would be a good tagline for this book)

-Otherwise very good smut. Hook was fantastic.

Ok...but for real 😳 Peter and the lost boys are a wild ride (quite literally)
I loooove the setting of Neverland and connection to Wendy and how the boys are portrayed. The lost boys got badass!
Ok and let's talk about that spice...🥵🥵💗
I'm so excited to go on this journey and continue on with the next few books! Especially daddy Hook 🖤
After the first book, I immediately went and bought the whole series. Thank goodness for Amazon one day delivery 🚚

If it’s got Neverland or Captain Hook sign me right up! I love a retelling especially a spicy one. I can’t wait to see where this story continues. Gwen wasn’t my favorite FMC but she wasn’t my least favorite either, she was just normal nothing made her stand out with MC energy. We get to see all the important Neverland things pirates, Lost Boys, Fairies and Tiger Lily and her people.

well we’re just gonna jump right into the goods on this one. i still very much so hate tiger lily but i’d like to respectfully retract my former statements of her. i thought no one could get worse than her but then…i met gwen who’s literally the MFC. let’s get things straight i am a 1 man kinda girl as soon as books start talking about multiple love interests ya ur gonna count me OUT. but alas here we are. gwen had 1 bad experience with the opposite sex and decides to flyyy away to neverland w peter🧚🏼 leaving behind her sister who’s literally dying of cancer like come on now. even satans not that mean. she gets to neverland and starts INSTANTLY falling in love with peter the same day she met him like girl be so for real rn. then she meets the 3 other lost boys and is IMMEDIATELY falling in love with them too like HUNNY what?? you poor thing you must’ve been severely deprived of love as a child to have standards as low as yours. i mean in order to make this chick fall in love with you all you have to have is a shlong attached to you and be breathing. this hoe gonna get clamidia if she keeps going around kissing everyone like it’s dooms day or something. then she proceeds to literally start hooking up with peter each one of the lost boys and even CAPTAIN HOOK. i mean she’s collecting neverland men like they’re infinity stones or something. the plot in this book is she pops her friggin pussy like she’s in some sex buffet or something? don’t get me wrong they’re all hot but like JUST PICK 1!! it just got worse and worse as it went. if i have to read 1 MORE SEX SCENE OF THIS WOMAN IM GONNA LOSE IT. we get it u like dick can we move on now?? i’m surprised t.s. kinsey made gwen a woman based off how much she wants the dong. i was very disappointed that this book just ended up being an orgy on paper, i mean even the font was bad. overall this story should’ve just stayed on wattpad where it belongs.

Do you like steamy Peter Pan retellings? Not a dark romance but definitely firmly new adult themes. Glad they were all aged up for this so it didn’t give me the ick. A few grammar errors but didn’t bother me. Story moved very quickly.

The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the ending was a little too neatly done. Didn’t leave me wondering what was next.

•plot•
This one follows a descendant of Wendy Darling when she’s whisked off to Neverland by Peter Pan after she catches her boyfriend cheating. The Lost Boys make her quite at home. And let’s just say Hook ain’t so bad either 😆

Tropes: why choose, fairy tale, “you’re mine”
TW: cheating, cancer, dub con, violence, ⛓, hostage, death
