Oh this was a fun read!
Amberleigh is a human succubus, with an interesting talent of being able to "hold" other supernatural's abilities, taking them into herself with a kiss. For example, a vampire can be made human again, with Amberleigh acquiring the vampiric powers for herself. She can return them at a later time though, through her orgasm with that person.
This makes her such an interesting character, and I really enjoyed getting to know her through this story. Her abilities aside, she sounds like a really lovely person, and I can totally understand her wanting to crash in front of the TV, instead of going out and being social on NYE, I'd also have to be talked into to it 🤭
This does end on a cliffhanger, and there are lots of story hooks that I hope get explored in future books, as I thoroughly enjoyed this one.

I found so many aspects of this story absolutely heart-wrenching, but what a fantastic beginning for this part of the series. Hopefully we will not wait too long for the next book.
