Sold by my own brother to cover his gambling debts, I’ve been the plaything of a wealthy demon for years.
But when I risk my life to escape, the only place to flee is to the territory of the Black Hearts MC.
Their price for my safety? To strip in their club and earn them money.
But soon the MC leaders can’t keep their hands off me, and they decide I’m theirs… even when my owner comes looking for me.
Suddenly I’m not just a stripper, I’m their mate.
And they will commit any sin to save me… because they’re my salvation.
Sin and Salvation is a standalone reverse harem romance novel that can be read independently from the rest of the shared world. It features a sweet succubus stripper, three possessive mates, and a lot of praise. Intended for mature audiences.

3.3 stars. I won’t lie, this was a bit disappointing. I’ve read a few other books and series by this author and completely loved them. This though, this was just missing some important things for me.
First off, the relationship between them all. It just didn’t have any sort of development. They met and they had attraction and then they were together. No getting to know each other. No spending time with each other. It was just lacking.
Then their ‘mating’. It was literally just sex. And confusing sex at that. All the guys have knots and the author would say they were locked and yet they were still moving…? Uh. Ow. That’s not how that works. Also. One of them is a hellhound, if they’re not All gonna bite her, He should’ve at the very least. It just hammered the lack of true connection home even more.
Then their bikes. All the other books in the syndicate that I’ve read had cool bikes that were basically alive in some way. I mean, granted, there were only two books before this one, but still. You’d think the demons would have some of the coolest bikes with all the options on lore out there in the world. This is probably the least important gripe for me, but after all the other disappointments it just hit harder.
I don’t know, man. I was just expecting to love this and it fell short almost immediately.
3.5 Stars This was definitely not my favorite from this author. Seems my tastes prefer her longer drawn out series than these straight to the point standalones. I’m also a bit bummed and surprised because the entire story is literally summed up in the blurb. Aside from the sex and minor time for individual character traits to develop nothing special happens. The story is super short and for me some scenes felt a bit awkward at times. The heroine was an OK lead but I found her instant obsession with her 3 guys as a little hard to take since she’s on the run from one ‘owner’ and not looking for another. While some could argue her brash behaviors were her sticking up for herself, I just found her impulsiveness and recklessness hard to accept given the past she’s running away from.
Hot Bikers yes please sign me up!! Succubus Venus ends up in the hands of the Black Hearts MC when shes trying to escape the abusive life that she was forced into. Finding a new job as a stripper in their club. My god did Venus and the guys - Crow, Aaron and Zane steam up my kindle! Talk about flaming hot. I liked the relationship that she had with the guys. Venus was just sweet and guarded but that's understandable with everything that she went through in this book but I loved that she changed as the book progressed and she grew as a character. This was a great read with characters I really liked
Ok. So she gets mate claimed by the three guys, two alphas and a hound. They knot her during s$x. That’s apparently all it takes to claim a mate.
Except….. Crow tells her he’s knotted others before. They can knot whenever they want to. So what exactly made this a mating and established the mate bond? No biting, no marking, no mate-specific knotting…. So I’m very confused. What makes mates in this author’s omegaverse?
And after she mates the other two, one comments that she’s marked… uhhh… no she wasn’t. I went back three times to be sure I didn’t somehow miss that. Nope. Just s$x that wasn’t any different than s$x they had had with other strippers before, except a mate bond magically appeared because they wanted one to.
And…. They let her give a lap dance to a rando in a private room? THAT was ok with these alpha males? They never objected even once to her grinding on a stranger.
It really was an enjoyable read, don’t let the above put you off too much. It just really jarred me, made it hard to get back in the groove.
This was my first novel in the world of Black Hearts MC. Even though this is the third book published in this series, they don't have to be read in order and each book is published by a different author. I love that this was set around a motorcycle club set within the boundaries of their city, Concordia. I loved the heroine, Venus, and her succubus personality. The leaders of the motorcycle club were alpha demons and I liked this take on an alpha demon story. Crow, Zane, and Aeron eventually become mates with Venus. I didn't enjoy this quite as much as other things I have read from this author, but I still enjoyed this. This just felt a bit short and rushed compared to her other longer series books. I liked the tone and plot as well as the way Concordia was set up. The most powerful demons carved out sections of the city to own and run for themselves. (4/5 rating)

Ok read. I loved our H, she was willing to do w.e it took to survive. She was smart, and never tried anything stupid to get herself in any trouble. She had her strengths and she stuck to them, and I truly loved that aspect of her character. I loved the guys as well, but I felt I didn't get enough of them. The romance was cheap between them. Its like all the sudden, they are mates. No real buildup. Was seriously disappointing. I was also confused on the alpha part, were there certain ppl who were just submissive enough for an alpha? Was our H an omega? Not truly sure.
This is part of a larger world in collaboration with 5 other authors. You do not have to read in any order. This one was a short and fast read, not quite novella length, but I didn't get the feeling of fully fleshed out character development. Even though, I really liked the FMC, I enjoyed her coming into her own and realizing her worth and power. I liked the harem but here is where I could have used just a little something more. Overall, great storyline that kept me engaged. It's worth the read if you love supernatural bikers.
Ooh I enjoyed this book. It has all the things I love about Cate Corvin's books: strong and gutsy female lead who shows her softer side to her men; Alpha males who have no problem kicking some butt but also treat their woman as an equal; and great world building. And this was not a slowburn, reverse harem. This was super sexy from the get go and I couldn't decide which male was my favorite. I did wish for more of these characters and I was so disappointed that this was the only book in the MC series by Cate Corvin. Unlike her other books, this one did feel a bit rushed and I could have easily done with 2 more books about Venus, Crow, Aeron and Zane.
Love the combo of sass and sin with this cast of characters. It's easy to like Venus with her broken, but sweet nature. Despite all she has been through, her outlook wasn't too carry a chip on her shoulder or hold everyone at arm's length, but instead she soaks up praise and companionship. I love this type of character because reading about an angsty female all the time gets old.
A medium- burn to an all-ingulfing fire keeps this story hot. It will surround you with action as well as drama and leave you with a smooth tasre of HEA
It was a good read. I just wish it had been mpov. If the book had been written in mpov it would of added depth to the story and painted a better picture for me to enjoy myself by immersing myself in to the story from all angles and experience the emotions along with other characters. Also, the fmc is majorly annoying, imo she just constantly doing stupid stuff or acting childish. All in all, I liked the plot. I just disliked her... Also, the author needs to fine tune a bit in their editing because there were a few typos and such that I saw.
Another good book in the series, so far I have enjoyed each of the paranormal MC Syndicates. Venus is like a phoenix rising from the ashes, once she manages to make a run for her freedom and finds refuge under the Black Hearts territory, she starts to slowly find her ground and grasp the reins of her own destiny. The MMCs each carry certain traits that captivate the FMC and in the midst of all the chaos, the main heroine starts to discover that she might have gained more than she could have ever imagined by daring to find shelter from under the Black Hearts MC roof.
Unsurprisingly, I absolutely loved Sin & Salvation. Venus was such a sweet character who was determined to be free from her traumatic past. From beginning to end she steadily grew into herself and her power. Plus she had three delicious mates in the leaders of Black Hearts MC. The tension was fantastic, as well as the steamy moments. I was completely content with the HEA, although I can't help but still wish there was more (as I always do with Corvin's writing)!
Well the knotting aspect was a pleasant surprise! This is the 3rd book in this shared world and the MC in this one is probably more along the lines of what i expected. This fmc also hasn't been lied to or sheltered by her family, though she has been betrayed by them. These slight differences in the story bones made this one stand out from the previous two and has possibly been the most enjoyable so far
I loved this book. I wish it was longer actually. From the start to the finish, everything felt completely natural. Besides being paranormal… the feelings, the actions, the responses, it all flowed perfectly. It was in the fmc pov, and that poor character. Her backstory is tragic, and she risked it all to leave the basturd who bought her. Ended up at the club of her previous owners nemesis. They took her in, and her story gets better and better. Loved it!
When I first started this series I had forgotten that MC Syndicates was a shared universe. So far each book has drawn me in. I always like when authors do their own take of how Demons behave and their powers. Venus is a succubus who is able to share her power with others by giving them a boost in their own power. She's a sweet girl just looking to get away from her abu$er. I always love when you get a strong fmc who fights for herself. Loved her mates too.
It was short and sweet and I wish there were sequels but perhaps that is what makes the MC series so fantastic. You get just enough from each author to want to keep coming back for more! This was my first introduction to Cate Corvin and already I am searching for more of her works.
I love this shared world! This book was so good! I love that even though the FMC was abused she was still strong and wasn’t afraid to stick up for herself.❤️ The men were protective of her but let her have her freedom which I adored reading.🥰 The steamy scenes in this book were 🥵! Highly recommend this book! Looking forward to the next one in this shard world! 💕
I loved this book. ❤️ For being a standalone reverse harem, I was pleasantly surprised at how much world building and plot there was. I enjoyed the plot and the spiciness 🌶 in this book. Venus goes from being a victim, to a kickass hero. I love her men and how they would burn the world for her. *swoon*
I have read all Sin n Salvation series,,, this one was so blah.... There was no different POVs every thing was disconnected I felt nothing for the characters there was no excitement literally the biggest waste of a few invested hours. I know being a author is hard. I've never left a negative review sorry I have to be honest.. It was bad
Venus finally ran away from a horrendous situation … sold by her own brother to settle his own debts, Venus thought she was trapped … however when she was shown a way out, she ran and didn’t look back
I enjoyed the plot just wished there was more of it. Just seemed really rushed like it was an afterthought. More of her before them life would have been cool. Maybe some devious stuff from the bad guy. Just fell flat sadly.
This book was a sweet addition to the series. We got ro meet Venus and learn about who she is and what she can do while she was escaping a bad life. She meets her mates and as their journey moves forward we get to see them overcome their obstacles.
First time reading this author and I really enjoyed it. The characters are well developed. Story line is full and held my interest through out. I like a story with added steam and this one had that…without the steam taking over the story
This is my first read by this author and it will not be my last. I truly enjoyed this Whychoose/PNR. The characters were interesting and the storyline kept you engaged. TW/18+
I enjoyed the beginning on how she escapes and run for refuge. Then ask to speak to the MC pres to offer refuge. From there it unravels.I like the ladies and how the guys act. Definitely read it straight through.
I actually liked this Story. I read some of the other reviews before I decided to leave one. This is a first for me by this Author. The characters were good although the back story for her and what a monster she left did not come out till near the end. I would have liked the book to be a bit longer and maybe have had the story expanded. Overall I still really enjoyed the book and plan to read all of them.
