He walked away once, and it nearly destroyed her. Now he wants a second chance…

Priest
There’s nothing more important than family.
It’s what I live for, what I’ve always lived for.
So, when I’m forced to step back from the one girl I’m dying to claim as my own, it wrecks me.
But when family asks you to keep a secret, you do it.
No questions asked.
I only hope that when the truth comes to light, the woman I can’t get out of my head gives me another chance. A chance to show her I could be her knight in beat-up leather if only she’d let me.

Jenny
Tragedy likes to strike in threes and this year’s already been a nightmare.
Two down… one to go.
So, when the brutally hot biker who stomped all over my heart crosses my path again, I’ve got no interest in hearing him out.
Except, he doesn’t give up so easily…
And he’s more than willing to play dirty to get what he wants.
When he dangles the thing I want most in front of me and promises he’s changed, I have to decide if I’m willing to gamble my heart on his second chance or walk away for good…

Priest:

This one pulled on my heart strings

I truly fell in love with the previous series from this author and sadly I put this particular series on a back burner way too long

Jenny had met Priest in Texas when he and some of his brothers first came out to help the Austin MC celebrate a wedding, and then stayed to help with some trouble. She had been instantly attracted to the man. They started getting to know each other and ended up spending one night together
Jenny has been going through a rough time in her life lately a recent tragedy that had left her vulnerable in a lot of heartbreak, her work had happily transferred her back to Tucson when she had requested

Priest, it had been something like 6 months since he had cut ties with her ….. he is a very private person and doesn’t show his emotions much… He doesn’t give her much information about why he’s cutting ties with her, but she will soon find out when Hush and the Mc reaches out to her for their help

I have a strong feeling that I’m going to like this series more than the previous one, which was the Texas chapter. This club is a one-percenter club, but they steer clear of drugs and guns. They do have connections with those who do, often by eliminating them. They’re like vigilantes, and every member is ex-military. The last series was great, no doubt, but I just sense that this one might top it.

Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Trope: single dad, vigilante, second chance
Angst: 😱😱😱
Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥

Priest and Jenny had the beginnings of something good, despite it being long distance... until he dropped her with almost no explanation. Months later, they meet again and Jenny finds out there was so much more to Priest than what he shared, hurting her badly. Priest can't believe his luck when he runs into the feisty, curvy lady he started falling for when life got in the way. Now he wants a second chance, but it's going to take a lot to convince Jenny to put her heart on the line again.

Loved this one so much! I've been waiting for this story since we met them a couple stories back. Well written, fast paced, and tons of action - this story has it all! You truly get invested in all of these characters and their stories. Priest and Jenny find what they both need in the other. Jenny is a strong, capable woman who can take care of her own shit, but Priest is the perfect man to support her any way she needs. Priest definitely needs Jenny's softness and support - especially with his girls and what he has going on in his life. The whole book is basically a long, emotional grovel to forgiveness and rebuilding of trust. Great read and I absolutely cannot wait for Sloane and Riptide's book next!

Priest and Jenny
I didn’t like this one as much as Hush. This books starts a year after Priest breaks up with Jenny by text. I think a lot was lost by skipping entirely over the beginning of their relationship. I just never was able to buy into it. Jenny moves back to Tucson- she had met Priest in Texas. They are both from Tucson. She’s asked by Hush to help priest adopt the little girl the club saved is Hush’s book. Meanwhile Jenny finds out that Priest has 3 other daughters. He also has an ex wife who is dying of Cancer. The adoption and the wife dying takes up the first 50 percent of the book. I don’t care for books that are so focused on the cancer storyline. The H and h’s relationship was secondary to the adoption, the 3 other daughters and the dying ex wife— although we never really meet the ex wife she’s gets a lot of the written word. Anyway after she dies next up is the attack that’s plastered all over TikTok… and everyone gets arrested for saving 4 baby girls and killing a murderer… hmm can the police really be any dumber in this book? They try to save the bad guy after giving him plenty of time to
Off the H and h and 4 little girls. They’re so
Smart they arrest the victims🤬Great going Barnie Fife! They get outta jail and live hea.

Occasionally I can deal with the single dad trope, if he has one child, but FOUR? I honestly didn't think I was going to like it, if only for that reason alone. I'm also not usually a fan of second chance romances, since I often find that the things these men do to blow the first chance they were given are pretty unforgivable for me. I'm happy to report, though, that I was proven wrong.
Priest is an incredible dad and even though it's not something I would typically enjoy, it was hard not to melt at his interactions with his girls (the first time Caitlyn called him 'daddy' literally made my heart squeeze in my chest). He also had a very good reason for not pursuing things with Jenny after their initial meeting, though I do still wish it's something he would have explained to her at the time. That said, whenever I do read a second chance romance, I love a good grovel, and boy did Priest grovel. Jenny made him work hard for her forgiveness, and rightly so. Naturally he did it in a sexy, alpha male way, but, hello, emphasis on the sexy.

I love continued characters in a series!!

I fecking love continued characters and storylines, hot possessive men who fall head over heels for their women and strong women who handle these men as equals! I think why I love MC reads is because they are based on a Brotherhood, family of love and blood, veterans and every single character would lay down their life for the other! Then throw in strong female characters who know their minds and worth but still don't mind being talked dirty to in the bedroom 🔥 and have someone who would do anything for you is a definite turn on! The mystery of what is going on in the desert is answered and its not good! Caitlin and all the girls are adorable and my heart breaks for them!! Read in order, free with K. U. 3.75 stars ✌

Wow!! I absolutely loved this book. For me it was a truly gripping MC romance with darker elements mixed into the story line that will continue into the next book.
Priest was the epitome of what a biker should be rough, tough and sexy. Dedicated to his brotherhood, Priest will do any and everything asked of him. He is also a true family man and loves his girls to the bone.
Jenny has had a tough go of it lately – a recent tragedy has left her vulnerable and a lot heartbroken – add to that her budding “friendship” with Priest that he put on hold with no explanation ad Jenny found herself needing to pick herself up and get back to her normal life. When the MC reaches out her for help she is only to happy to give it. Jenny is determined to block out Priest at all costs but his determination and the fact that he is a gorgeous mountain of a man Jenny is finding it impossible to resist. Through in a few twists, turns and unexpected losses, this MC is never faraway from danger. There is never a dull moment and I cannot wait to see where the main story develops.

Priest and Jenny were so good together. Jenny needs a man not to look after her but someone she can lean on in times of need. She is fierce, strong and loves deeply, just the type of woman Priest is looking for but he is now going to have to work for what he wants – however the challenge only makes Jenny more irresistible. Priest will also have to fight his nature to shut her out when he actually needs to talk and get things out. Absolutely great read, am a huge MC romance fan and this hit all the hot spots!!!

Give me a romance with a huge hero/anti-hero and I’m going to be happy as a clam. I really enjoyed a lot about this book. Priest was both super sexy and super annoying. Don’t get me wrong it’s clear that he has a whole mess of issues to handle that aren’t issues he’s caused or can control - but still he doesn’t treat Jenny right. He eventually gets better with his emotions. I don’t think that there was enough groveling on his part (hence a star knocked of the rating), but I can somewhat understand way given some of the circumstances. I liked that Jenny was curvy, smart, willing to bend the rules, and tough when she needed to be. I am getting a little tired of the troupe of the curvy woman having little to no experience with sex, however it wasn’t poorly written in those sections. It’s just a pet peeve of mine. Overall, it’s a really greet book and I cannot wait to dive into Riptide.

Priest was a fantastic addition to this series. I really loved his story so deeply. And I loved the hero being a single father and connecting with this little girl from book one who lost her mother in such a brutal way and is traumatized from it. There was a level of angst as this is a second chance and the hero did hurt the heroine. And he did have to work for it but I really liked how he proved himself and it wasn’t done in a way that was overkill. Just genuine redemption. There is plenty of action, loved the MC culture in this even more and the plot builds more into what we saw from book one.

Oh Priest!!
Story: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Spice: 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️

We first meet Priest and Jenny in The Vikings MC (Austin chapter). I devoured those books and was ready for the Tucson chapter to get their own books to continue the series. It is fast paced but not enough to where you feel like you missed anything. Lots of romance, suspense, angst, witty banter, and amazing story line. Most of the FMC are written as strong and independent women by these authors and Jenny (Taz) is no different; I love that she’s no pushover and makes priest work for it and doesn’t roll over and take his excuses. With that being said the story behind the scenes is keeping me at the edge of my seat and I can’t wait to continue the story with Riptides book. You don’t want to miss this one.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!!!!

I had extremely high expectations for this book and I’m ecstatic to say that Cathleen blew those expectations out of the water! I literally cannot put into words how much I love this book!

We first meet Jenny and Priest in the Viking MC series and are given a little taste of their spark. In Hush we find out that Priest broke things off even though he was crazy about her and because the men in these stories like to meddle in each other's lives Jenny is brought into the fold to help. From the first few chapters Cathleen takes you on a roller coaster of emotions as their story unfolds and it is so worth it!

YES YES YES!!! Such a great read 📚 Priest and Jenny's love story was everything and more. Hush did the right thing "getting back" at Priest. I cried. I laughed (especially at the USB with the special video), I hurt when the girls were hurting and felt their fear. Priests love for his family can melt even the coldest of hearts. Can't wait to see what happens with Riptide and Sloane, and what happens with the cult.

I couldn't wait to read about Priest and I LOVED it!!! I couldn't put it down! I knew his book was going to be amazing and it was beyond amazing! This series is so good and you definitely want to read it! What he and his girls go through would be so hard, but having Jenny definitely helped them all!

My heart

This book was even more then what I thought it be. I rarely cry when reading but this story was the rare one that had tears running down my face. My heart broke for priest and his girls and poor Wendy. Jenny was definitely their saving grace.

And when Cait said “Daddy” 😭😭

Another win in this series. Cannot wait to see how Riptide save Sloane.

Priest ( the Viking Mc: Tucson chapter book 2)

Priest and Jenny were a wonderful couple. Priest had three children and adopting another child as a single parent. His ex wife had cancer and was in hospices. Jenny was having troubles with Priest not being trustworthy. The ending is a cliffhanger with Mc club members trying to resolve a cult mystery.

Jenny and Priest were meant for each other. The author gives us a love story with Priest and Jenny aka Taz and 4 daughters. But there is a mystery to solve that started with Hush and Seek. Great series

These bikers have me in tears at how protective they are and in stitches when they go crazy. I loved how Priest could admit his faults and Jenny knew acceptance and when needed. They were perfect for each other.

Priest is a man with a lot on his plate, with what’s happening with his ex-wife and kids. The club trying to find out what’s happening in the desert after Seek (Hush’s old lady from book 1), uncovered a trail of missing persons cases where the victims just vanish. ordeal and a little girl falls right in their laps, after she was found with her mother dead and most probably going to become a victim next. She’d absolutely attached herself to priest and trusted him almost instantly. Not to mention Hush calling in a favor to a “friend” in Texas to help with their new little addition, that friend being Jenny was just the icing on the cake.

The woman Priest had texted to end things abruptly, due to his exes predicament. The woman he vowed he would go back and get after everything had settled down, explaining what had happened and planning to get her back by any means necessary. It had all piled up in one shit storm.

Jenny had already been back in Tucson, her grandmother who she was taking care of in Texas had passed and she knew she needed to be back with her mother. The two were best friends and this was a loss she couldn’t deal with alone. The last thing Jenny expected was to be walking right into the lions den to help this little girl. It was an even bigger shock to learn he had children of his own, and he wanted to adopt this one too. Working with CPS, Jenny wanted to keep this completely professional, she couldn’t let this man back into her heart. She only hoped she could keep up her resolve.

I do absolutely love this book. There are so many layers and I must admit going in I wanted and expected some heavy groveling but what I got was not what I expected and trust me that’s a good thing. There’s desire, mystery, angst, fluff. It’s a whirlwind mix! I hink you could get away without reading the first book but I wouldn’t recommend it! They really lead into eachother, and you get so much more out of the story!

Disclaimer: **I received an ARC of this ebook in exchange for a review.**

Regardless if I received an ARC or not, I was going to read this book no matter what. I love the books that I have read from the MC Austin Series and Hush which is the first one in the MC Tucson series. I have not read of the books from the MC Austin series yet, but I will say that from the ones I have read - All Fair’s in Love and Juarez onward are top notch! They are all so thrilling, engaging with that touch of romance that is angsty and those are the types of things I like in books I read.

Priest is no exception and does all of those things: gives me a thrill with the storyline, has that romance angst and keeps me guessing. Sometimes I am able to guess what may happen next in a book, but with these books, Cathleen continues to have me guessing at each point in the book. You may read it and think watch, it will be like any typical Biker MC book that many others now have released. Nope, not the case at all with any of her books, they are all different. I wish the book was longer, but that’s only because I loved Priest from the very moment he was introduced in The MC Austin series and I also loved Jenny as well. In any case, I 100% recommend this book. You don’t necessarily have to read the books prior, but it would help because the storylines merge a bit in each book.

I will say that if you have not yet opened up any book for any of MC series that Cathleen is written, do it, you won’t regret it.

Hot!

Who doesn’t love a bad boy biker falling first and being a teddy bear for his family and his old lady!

The MMC Priest can’t catch a break, he connects with the FMC Jenny while helping another MC’s chapter but this book is the epitome of wrong place, wrong time, Priest is hoping he can sort his drama in time to go grovelling for a chance to explain but fate has other ideas when the one person he needs help from also happens to be who he needs to grovel to the most.

The FMC Jenny can’t keep up with how hot and cold Priest is. She thought they were starting something until he suddenly stopped it. When she finds out just what he’s been dealing with her big heart struggles with understanding even though she was hurt in the process.

Loved this book, loved how determined Priest was to grovel, he knew he had a lot of apologies to make but also had to get his priorities right even when that meant putting his happiness last.

This was a great book, I don’t want to talk about plot too much and ruin it but it’s definitely another great book in this series of bikers

More yummy MC Men

We learn more about the men of The Tucson chapter in this book like Butcher and Toxic who I would love to get their own books!

Anyway, back to Priest. We met Priest back in Austin and he had a little thing with Jenny who is friends with one of the Ol’ Lady’s back there however he dumped her by text (which is douchebag territory) however she’s in Tucson and he needs her help and he’s going to explain why he made the choices about their relationship he did and try to get her back. Be warned there’s some heartbreaking moments in this book.

We saw Jenny step in to help protect the chapter kids back in Austin and she’s just as protective of the kids here in Tucson physically putting herself between the kids and danger in an attempt to protect them.

Danger, sexiness, sadness, this book was a multitude of emotions.

A must read!

I discovered Cathleen Cole a couple days ago when I read Hush, the 1st book in The Vikings MC: Tucson Chapter. I have since devoured Priest and can’t wait to read Riptide.

The usual MC aspects are pretty much the same as in brotherhood, loyalty, family, etc. The underlying storyline is so good that it continues with each book even though each book represents a different couple. There isn’t really a cliffhanger per say, but you are anxious to read the next book in the series.

If you haven’t read Cathleen Cole, you won’t be disappointed when you do.

Thank you, Cathleen for writing a series that I devoured in 2 days (2 books so far). I look forward to reading many more of your books!
