This is an ongoing series on the Webtoon app. I love reading about strong and resilient female characters and this webtoon does not disappoint. The art is stunning and the pacing is great. The story seems ordinary at first but there are plots and twists embedded between important events.
I can't reveal much about the plot since it's ongoing but this one is a fun read with an awesome main character.

My god I just finished it on Webtoon’s app and - I’m speechless… it was so incredible with stunning graphics and the characters are all more endearing than each other !!! White blood/Unholy blood is full of action, fight, blood, mystery, vampires [of course], plot twist and a piece of truly love ❤️
Definitely one of my favorites Webtoon, I hope it will be edited soooo that it can join my bookshelf.

I don't know how to say this without sounding weird, but everything about this webtoon is hot.
The art is absolutely exquisite. I really like the illustrator's style and how everything is drawn/colored/shaded.
The plot is so intriguing. I did not think I'd like it at all because I tend to find vampire stories cheesy, but this one is the opposite of cheese. There is no cheese to be found. The plot starts very lowkey, it doesn't seem like much, then BAM! Stuff happens and the plot ensnares you and doesn't let you go. These end of episode cliffhangers are going to slowly strangle me because I need to know what happens next.
The characters are amazing. Between the two leads, Hayan Park and Euntae Hwang, there is no shortage of sass, loyalty, or badassery. Each has a unique personality and individual strengths, and a common goal that causes them to join forces. I love both of them. Hayan is caring, trustworthy, and fiercely devoted to those she cares about. She is such a strong female protagonist, and not in a #i'mnotlikeothergirls way. She will literally kick your ass. Euntae is clever, loyal, and hard to figure out (in a good way). He will either kick your ass himself, or let Hayan kick your ass and he'll be in the background smiling smugly and proudly. Both are vengeful, with good reason.
This webtoon is beautiful. Glorious. Amazing. Apparently it's being translated on Webtoon into English from the original version (which I think was Korean? I'm not sure), so I lowkey want to read a fully translated version on a sketchy website because I can't just sit here and wait for the next episode or I will simply die.

I really enjoyed it so far. The art is really good. The plot is refreshing since most stories is about how they discover they’re not really human. This one is how she reveals her self as a badass to all the vampire which is somewhat new. It’s interesting that for once the main female character is not a weakling that needs a guy to save her. Im really looking forward to the next chapters

WHEW so i've finally finished this gem and I'd say this was such an incredible read that made me feel such a wide range of emotions. i could connect with the characters well and after knowing the back stories of many of them and understanding why they turned out the way they are now i couldn't really hate any of them so ye it was a really amazing story i'd say ♡

Read the epilogue. Loved it. 5 stars. Masterpiece.
The last chapter has me so confused. Like I'm glad that he is ok but also how is he ok??? Hopefully if you read it too you'll know to whom im referring too. Can't wait for the epilogue

No pensé que me fuera a enganchar tanto con una historia de acción y romance, la historia fue increíble, la vida de cada uno de los personajes tenía trasfondos fantásticos y ni hablar del dibujo.

Okuyabileceğiniz en güzel webtoonlardan biri gerçekten hem çizimleri mükemmel hem damardan aksiyon alıyorsunuz. Karakterlerinin hepsinin geçmişi o kadar acıklı ki kötülere bile ağlamak istedim yohandan ciddi nefret etsem de bagıslamıs hissettim...cok garipti. Aşk aşırı slowburn işlenmiş ama anladığım kadarıyla böyle ayrıntılı dram ve aksiyon karması webtoonlara aşk pek eklenen bir şey olmadığı halde yazar risk almış çok da güzel kurtarmış sahneler beklediğime değdi diyebilirim. Vampir, aksiyon geçmişleri tarafından sizi tokatlayan karakterleri okumak isterseniz kesinlikle bakmalısınız.

I miss this already come back pls 😭 And Yohan… there’s so much to say about him. The plot twists were amazing and the art work was *chef’s kiss*

An ongoing series.
While the plot itself is nothing original, I'm constantly held captive by the beautiful and mesmerizing art. Furthermore, I have a great weakness for resilient and powerful female protagonists, which Hayan certainly is. So I will hang around a bit and hopefully the story will pick up soon.

This is my favorite graphic novel/comic story of all time and I’m so glad it’s out in paperback. I cannot wait to absolutely devour the rest of this series for a second time—it’s absolute peak storytelling. I would not recommend reading it unless you have a VERY strong stomach for violence, gore, and messed up behavior. However: good vs evil and good wins!!!!!

Desde que me aficioné a esta plataforma, he encontrado y leído muchísimos comics. Pero ninguno me había tenido tan enganchada como este. Es que todo es buenísimo: la trama, los personajes, el romance junto a la acción y las ilustraciones.
Iré por partes.
La trama. Esto está llenito de giros y de dramita. Y de sangre, mucha sangre. Ya aviso desde aquí que es todo muy explícito en cuanto a violencia, así que si es algo que os afecte… Dicho esto, el concepto es muy interesante, pero no puedo explicar prácticamente nada más que lo que presenta la sinopsis porque os destrozaría varios secretos. Pero, como decía, es una maravilla. Lo que he llorado con algunas historias secundarias, me he reído con varios chistes y me he enamorado de los personajes.
Aquí meto ya los personajes. TODOS sin excepción son redondos y tienen profundidad. Los buenos no son completamente buenos y los malos quizás tienen sus motivos. Por supuesto, los personajes de fondo sí que tienen que ser más planos, es imposible que un vampiro que sale en dos viñetas te de para tanto. Pero de verdad que podría haber sido todo mucho menos complejo de lo que ha sido. Todas las historias de antes de cada personaje te van revelando cosas de sí mismos. Incluso empiezas a ver mecanismos de defensa en varios, cosas tan típicas que nos vemos de alguna forma en su situación. Así que aunque sean vampiros, a veces muchos son más humanos.
El romance y la acción. Mirad que yo de acción, violencia y explosiones no soy mucho, pero BUA. Es que quiero más. Quiero persecuciones, peleas, explosiones… Todo otra vez por favor. Y ya luego el romance… tengo que decir que igual es obvio desde el principio, pero se desarrolla lentamente y la relación que tienen va cambiando poco a poco de una amistad fuerte a una conexión mucho más romántica. He de decir que es de los romances más bonitos que he leído. Adoro esa relación.
Sobre las ilustraciones… Ojala webtoon me dejara hacer capturas solo para enseñaros ciertos puntos. De verdad que necesito tener el libro en físico solamente para verlos de nuevo.
Aquí viene el problema: no hay libro en físico. Bueno, sí en ebay y en coreano. ¿Hacemos un llamamiento a editoriales de manga españolas para que lo traigan? Porque yo lo necesito jeje
En resumen, que os hagáis una cuenta en webtoon que podéis leer muchos comics gratis. Aunque en este es a capítulo por día… Pero merece la pena, de verdad lo digo.

For a change there's nothing to nag about. Sure I could find a slight niggle here or there but I don't want to spoil the good feeling I got after finishing this webtoon. It had everything you'd expect of an almost vampire apocalypse without being completely predictable. So there is a lot of action, of over the top challenges with the right amount of horror but also sweet and incredibly funny moments and because at its base it's a tale of longing there are also tear-jerking panels, revenge-inducing harm and a shy slow-burn.
It's full color and I liked that the artist also cared about the background, no generic architecture or rushed-over NPCs and all the main characters are K-Pop-Idol-beautiful until the memory of their past trauma rushes in.

Hace bastante tiempo quería leer este webtoon y me pregunto porque tarde tanto en comenzarlo!
Acá nos presenta a una protagonista fuerte, que aún tenemos mucho por descubrir, un trasfondo interesante y que al igual que con los protagonistas nos depararán muchos misterios.

I'm also a completionist so... here I am.
If I've ever read a more pathetic villain than Yohan, I can't remember.
I laughed and cried tears of joy at the stubborn fool.
I was able to be in his shoes during the backstory. The moment he ripped the dad's heart out, I knew that's totally possible when you're seeing red in anger. He is frustrating and detestable not because of that, but because he's like a moving train headed for disaster who didn't hit the brakes even though it's working.
And the ending.
I knew that's gonna happen to the detective. When Daniel gained blue eyes, I jokingly thought it would be hilarious if Yohan killed the parents and now going after Hayan's heart as well to become pureblood, when he only needed her blood- plotwist btch.
I'm here for a happy ending but... a pureblood convert is a no for me.
I gave it additional star because Daniel is PRECIOUS (let me tell you the way he gave that comfort doll and his cuddles purified me) and coz I like Levy's story (I guess I got my sob story). Also, knowing Hayan during the detective's stalking- this trope gets me everytime.

-FL being the only pureblood which makes her unique
-the detective's character who loves her sister so much even though he got misunderstood. (I like the keychain flashback scene and the part where they made up.)
However, I lost interest after the recent chapters when it was revealed who "god" is and what really happened to her parents.
Boi am I super disappointed with the heroine, everything was entirely her fault because she's so selfish.
Not to mention she just left her younger siblings to fend for themselves, unguarded, for her revenge. I get that she's a danger to them because she's the target, but her siblings are a total hostage material and they're barely guarded? It's really not worth it to trade them for the dead. There isn't a strong conflict here (yet), it's pretty shallow. It's not like the enemy is targeting them and she has no choice but to fight. I'm mad because I prefer that situation over this, that she has an option to just let it go but is choosing not to.
Though there's also that issue with her lost memories, she wants to remember so I'll give her that.
The villain is like major cringe.
I hated the fact that this jerk is totally ungrateful like what's his problem?
I am super frustrated with her parents because they're so good they died, even though they are supposed to be the STRONGEST. And just like that, a human NOBODY became pureblood.
I am having difficulty picking it up again from this point. I feel so sorry for her parents, they just want their kid to have a normal life by allowing her to have one playmate.
The plot is already quite thin, her parents plus the FL being the only purebloods mentioned in the story are without a strong enemy so they needed to create one, thus that poor excuse of a villain was introduced (although I don't have much problem with it because that is usually the case with these light-read manhwas/ webtoons) but it became even more thin from this point on, suddenly the angels-of-death-getting-killed-one-by-one plot doesn't matter
because what do you know, we now have the villain revealed,
and what more is supposed to happen?
Unless there's a major plot twist or villain sob story coming, there is no saving this in my opinion.

Finally finished this after a long time hahahah it was so hard reading on webtoon sobsob
THE ART STYLE IS NO JOKE!!! Among all the manhwa I've read, I like this one a lot! All the characters look so amazing and it's really neat!! My eyes are blessed looking at the drawings 👀 they all look so good.. euntae, hayan, yohan, vael, levy... I can't possibly write all of the names here..
I admit that some parts of the story falls flat to me, because I don't really feel what the characters are feeling nor I sympathized with them. I just scrolled past some scenes because it feels too long😭 BUT, that's just my personal experience and personal preference on what I seek in a story. Others might not feel the same, and the storyline IS good~
Hayan, our main character.. I love her. She's someone I admire, for how she endure the suffering and refuse to give up. Instead, she becomes stronger and constantly improves herself. And she's totally gorgeous!!!! 😍
Also, this is a totally bias comment, because I cried so hard at the 10 last chapters hshshshs I'm so weak when they tell the villain's backstory, I'm sorry 😭😭 The author did a REALLY GOOD JOB for this part hahaha I didn't skip any scene, and cried so bad...
To the villain named, God and the one you saved (I'm trying so this wouldn't be a spoiler hshshhs) , I hope you both have found peace. Indeed, there are cruel people in the world, but there are also the kind one. You have suffered enough. Though your horrible actions cannot be justified, I wish you both happiness.

Yeah, basically that's what I felt about the manhwa~ Anyway, a totally recommended manhwa if you love gorgeous art style, action, vampires, superpowers and a lil bit of romance!

1. "You reminded me of myself."
2. Do you know what living in hell feels like? It feels like your lungs are filling with water and you're in agony every time you try to breathe. You can't escape no matter how hard you try... and you end up dying slowly without even knowing why you had to go through this.
THE ART STYLE IS NO JOKE!!! Among all the manhwa I've read, I like this one a lot! All the characters look so amazing and it's really neat!! My eyes are blessed looking at the drawings 👀 they all look so good.. euntae, hayan, yohan, vael, levy... I can't possibly write all of the names here..
