Tanner I am the keyboard player in the rock band Perpetual Fantasy. We just found out we are going on our first concert tour, as the opening act. What happens if the girl of my dreams can't handle the spotlight?
Sofia I have the mother of all roommates. Not only did she mess up my chance to fulfill my lifelong dream but also left me high and dry without a place to live. As I struggle to figure out what to do next, I might actually end up getting the biggest break of my life.
Contains foul language and adult scenarios. Can be read as a standalone, but recommend reading in order.
This is the first book in the Perpetual Fantasy Rock Band series which is a spinoff of the Havoc Predators MC series. You don't need to necessarily have to have read the MC series, but there is cameos by characters from that series so it may be easier to understand if you do. That being said, each book in this series is about a particular member of Perpetual Fantasy. One thing to note is that members of PF are paranormal creatures and our waiting to find their one true mate. In this book Tanner, the keyboard player finds his mate is Sophia, a human. Sofia has had a rough bit of luck, but is faced with life on the road with an up and coming rock star who tells her she's his mate. The story has some steamy bits and some violence. Overall it is an amazing start to the series. The members of the band are like brothers and very protective of each other and their friends and family. If you like paranormal love, you will enjoy this story.
My first book by this author and I just loved it! I read it so fast because I fell in love with the characters and devoured every page. Sofia hasn't had the best of luck with jobs, roommates, or living places, so when her best friend calls her with a temporary job offer, she figures why not?! What she didn't know was that this would change her whole life. Tanner is a member of a rock band and wants to find his mate ( yes he has paranormal powers ). When he first sets his eyes on Sofia, he knows he has found her. There is suspense when she goes on the road with the band and someone is trying to come between her, Tanner and the band. Will Sofia figure out who is causing trouble for her? And will her and Tanner work things out? A definite 5 stars from me 🤩..I met this author and she is amazing 😊
The whole book just bounced around so much, things were done and arranged without any discussion she was called to model without any of the seeing her, given a playing job without any of them hearing her play, no practice sessions no preparation. The romance was Luke warm, 5 weeks of no sex and suddenly she’s ok to mate and claim? And his reaction to her talking to someone else really was un-sexy. Sex as a punishment is just a huge turn off for me. Sorry truly didn’t enjoy this book. 2 stars because I normally do enjoy this author.
A paranormal rock band who are in a motorcycle club?? Yep! And I'm here for it! A spin off from the Havoc MC this is another fun series from Ann Edwards
Or Rocker Keyboardist/Paranormal/MC family connection meets Classical Violinist/Human/Bartender and what comes together is the first book in the Perpetual Fantasy series of a Rock Band of paranormals. It is a rock series book like I have never read, full of paranormals waiting on their mates. This book also has a hint of suspense when on tour some scandalous photos are leaked of Sophia, but before all of that happens lets get to the part about how Tanner convinces or manipulates his very unknowing mate, Sophia, to go on tour with him so he can get the girl to fall in love with him. Sophia picks up pretty quick that Tanner has arranged with the record label and the band to hire her to come play a few songs with her violin on tour. She is extremely suspicious of why this up and coming rock star would go so overboard to get a girl he hardly knows to come be on tour with him. But in her predicament of just losing her apartment, and not getting her dream job playing with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, combined with the only thing holding her back but a bartending job she can get anywhere. So she decides it is an awsome opportunity to showcase her talent playing her violin in front of thousands of people, and she gets to know Tanner and his band. So she would be crazy not to go. Will Tanner get the girl? Or will a huge scandal over nude photos of Sophia come in between their relationship and the band? Can Sophia a human be on board with a paranormal and accepting he is her mate? You will have to read to find out. I highly recommend this book and with the crazy epilogue I am so looking forward to book#2 Zayn, in the Perpetual Fantasy series.
