Really good read
I really enjoyed this story...
I loved the edge and the hint of street without it over powering the romantic side.
Very well written and it would have 5 but it slowed down at the end...
I love the love that Izz shows and I hope his mom is ok.

My Angel
Israel knows that Angel is the one for him after their first interaction. He was drawn to her quiet, humble, kind, hardworking, spirit. For weeks he would just watch her, he never approached her but he learned a lot about who she was.
Angel had lost a lot in life. Her main focus was having a successful business. Entering into a new relationship was not in her plans at all. Israel however was prepared to wear her down. When he looked at her he saw his future.
Ivan, Israel's big brother had tons of swag and I liked his nonchalant attitude. Monet was delusional and fell into the trap where she gave up her self worth in hopes of a fake wifey dream.
This book has a lot of potential, but lacks cohesion. The way it's written is disjointed and could flow better. The cross between the boardroom and the streets felt extremely unrealistic. That said I liked the characters and Israel's intentions. I would say help with overall editing would bring this book together.

Okay, I was not expecting this story to end with a freaking get on my last nerves cliffhanger... I usually check! Uuuuggggh! Anyway. The billionaire story was okay, I liked the idea, but the presentation need a closer edit, along with a pronoun ever so often in the dialogue. I liked Angel's character in every way. She was the glue for this story. These stories always have really rude men and thirsty women. I can do without this trope any day. Overall, I started to like Mr. Rude as he showed his love and affection for Angel. The story was 3.0 stars. The cliffhanger!

What A Read!
This story compelled me to keep turning pages from page 1. All the characters were well developed, and the love story was nice. Angel's family was a trip, and Israel's family was likable. I can't wait to see what book two has to offer.

My first time reading a book by this author. I hate cliffhangers and I don’t like love at first site. Writing was a bit elementary for me but good for the author. It wasn’t terrible but for sure not a 4. I’m not even interested in getting the next book.

If delusional motherfudgesicklestix was a person I'd most definitely be Monet aka Tasha. The levels she stooped just to try and get Israel to see her for something more than some😺 was just sad asf😔. They hatred she had for her cousin Angel😔.
Dorothy😡. The epitome of an egg donor who wants more credit than she deserves. The levels her, her trifling sister and niece go through to disturb Angels peace and mentally state its sad asf🙄😔. Her finally coming clean about why she's really back was not a shocker.
Then her here cones her daddy🙄
I hope and pray they ALL get what's coming to them for destroying her Café
Angel💕. From the beginning her story had me praying to she gets some much needed mental peace and a love like no other. That damn ex of here's Nate did a number on her with his selfish a**😡😡😡. Poor Nate Jr😢😢😢.

These two journey was fast, full of laughter and a while lot of intimacy and mind blowing sex. Her busing him out for following her home everyday after their first encounter😂. Israel was definitely a man on a mission and refused to setup until he made Angel his. Her momma, daddy, ex and other family members really ruined her ability to trust. I was glad when she finally allowed him in enough to share her story and allow him to love on her💕.
Israel brother Ivan kept me laughing. That fool had no filter and he treated the sugar honey ice tea out of Tasha's a**. She really thought she was about to f**k her way into Israel's heart through his brother😳😂😂😂.

Pretty good so far
Angel hasn’t known heaven, at least on earth. She sure knows hell though. Being a child of an affair when her mother was trying to come up, mother abandoned her, father barely had time for her and did the bare minimum, her grandmother who was her only loving family member died, aunt and cousin treats her like she the gum on the bottom of the shoe, ex-man committed the ultimate sin - hell. She has no one left to count on, but she pushes through with her business.
Israel is a gun toting, fang wearing thug turned legit business man who is about his money, family and his businesses. He has women on speed dial and clamoring to get in his rotation. But he don’t love them tho and pays them no never mind until it’s time for sex.
One encounter at Angels cafe is all it took for Israel to be hooked on Angel. She can’t shake him lose and she finds that she may not want to.
They are fast tracking their relationship with him going full speed ahead and her trying and failing to put on the breaks. Not to mention the drama with her family, his business and other factors.
Good read so far.

When, The Ish Is Going To Hit The Fan!!
When a family member dies and you're the only one who has stepped up paid the bills, sold the house so you can open your little cafe as they call it. Jealousy and envy are real. Tasha/ Monet, whatever she calls herself is bitter, desperate, delusional. Cc as Ivan calls her is trying to get him to wife her. Izzy has bde energy and sexy. Angel is blind to the concept that Izzy wants to give her his last and the mama to his kids. Angel told Izzy about her husband and her son Izzy is her sounding board. Those men are business men and hood a** men. Now her dad shows up when her cafe is set on fire and who did it? It has to be her mammy. Right? Where has he been? Her mammy is full of ish, she's not dying and maybe she will getting a divorce she wants money and her sister too. How is Izzy going to tell Angel he killed her cousin? Izzy is protecting his woman. Aj needs to call Andrea and invite her to the sneaker ball. Mrs. Richardson can't have cancer. Angel's family is the worst.

I loved Israel thug side and business side. When he explained things people felt the weight of his words without him needing to raise his voice. He was so direct with Angel no bs. Just said what he meant no sugar coating or beating around the bush. Angel closed of her feelings and saw people for what the were because of her life experiences. I loved Angels prayers. They had me rolling🤣I had to highlight that ish!!
The intimate scenes lacked passion and fire so I was pretty disappointed. It was like stick and move and next thing I know it’s ‘I love you’ huh what! I had to have missed something! The entire time it was Israel speaking future love and Angel denying love. So I was really confused.
Monay/CeeCee/Tasha is the come up bih, looking to trap a ninja bih. Angel’s Mother is a opportunists looking to take advantage of the daughter she didn’t raise.
Ivan is even more blunt than Israel…f around and get your feelings hurt talking with that man.
Overall I’m curious to see where this leads.

Poor Angel! Her family is trash, and dealing with the aftermath of what her husband did was heartbreaking! Stella's Cafe is her saving grace, her baby! In walks Israel Richards, who is mesmerized by Angel's beauty; and is a bit intimidated to talk to her. However, he makes a point to ensure her safety, by seeing her home every night. This man is a boss, with a weakness for Angel! He is patient, and slowly breaks down her defenses. Then here comes the ish! That damn Monet is going to get what is asking for messing around with the Richards' men! Dorothy is a poor excuse for a mother, if she can even be called that! She needs to take her greedy ass back where she came from! That ending tho! Really?? Talk about six degrees of separation! Whew! Can't wait for the conclusion! 👍👍👍

Toy, good read. Why can't people just be true about their intentions? Angel was a sound woman that has overcome some tragic things most people would never get over it. Realizing everyone that claimed to like her didn't. The snakes around her she knew and finally was beginning to speak on how folk treated her.
Israel, was a man that said what he meant and meant what he said. He had no idea
How his world was gonna change. He has snakes in his camp, snakes around angel, situations happening that will open up more doors and before all is said and done whoever is trying to get Angel and Israel to fail. Will have a fight they never see coming.🤗🤗🤗🤗

When you get a story that is not only well rounded and the characters are fleshed out you know that maybe you've stumbled onto a really good story. This was not only good ,but it makes you want to continue to look into the.lives of the characters you are reading about and their lives.The writer gives us a grown leading man who's not afraid to express his feelings but what he wants in life.The writing is good and entertaining and the author doesn't spare you from life and things happening. This was just really good,with enough of something for.everyone.

This is my first read from this author and I’m impressed it’s as really good. Israel is bae 😍 I love him and the way he pursues Angel is ENERGYYYYY. Angel was a little skeptical of getting involved with a man like Izz but she just started going with the flow and I love it for them.
Tasha/ Monet is your typical wanna be the bosses wife type of chick she’s so jealous of Angel and it’s really sad. The family isolates Angel because they want what she has or think she has. I hope she rebuilds and really boss u n all their asses. Looking forward to book 2.

I need part 2 today!!
Israel is giving off major BDE in this story and thank God Angel isn't letting him get away. This story proves that family will hurt you more than a stranger would. Between Tasha, her momma, and Dorothy, I don't who is worse. I'm excited to see what part 2 brings for the couple because drama is slowly starting to sink in thanks to Angel's no good family members!!

Why?
I am an avid reader and these past months I have gotten into urban fiction. Unlike any other genre, there is always a cliffhanger with multiple books to follow. This concept is so aggravating. This story is heartwarming and will have you rooting for Angel and that she gets more than she could imagine but I wish there was a hint to when the next book will be released. 4 stare for the story, -1 for the aggravation of a cliffhanger.

Fast paced. There's nothing wrong with a man knowing what he want! Izzy is a strong wealthy man along with being a man of conviction that wear quite a few hats. While Angel is a strong woman that has weathered many storms, despite her family jealousy of the things she has accomplished! I can't wait for part 2, I know Ms. Stella left more than Angel thinks. I'm hoping that Ivan and AJ find love as well.

Luckily for Angel, she man a man who’s ready to conquer anyone who tries to hurt her ( her mother Dorothy, her aunt Pam and the cousin from hell - Tasha/Monet.

I had empathy for what Angel went thru and she’s blocking her blessings for HEA if she continues to have this evil person win!
Here comes Izz a man who knows his heart and as a soon as he met Angel he knew she’s his future. I just love how protective he is of her and when they finally get to together they were so good! Angel got a soft heart ❤️ and nothing is wrong with that, but sometimes folks will take advantage of her kindness for weakness, but a man like Izz in her corner, he will have her back, front, side etc.
Of course there’s some trifling family members and they are aggravating the hades out of Angel! Blood don’t make you family and her mom and couz got hidden agendas. Even the father I’m side eyeing because he does not appear to be “innocent”!
Now the situation with Ivan and “the girl in the closet” will be interesting and I’m hoping that “girl” get what she deserved with her conniving and trifling self! Please do not let Ivan end up with her because that will not be a good look, but who I’m lol 😂 I’m just a reader who wants better for Ivan shrugs.

This book was well written
I loved everything about this book. I had to many emotions when she told the story of how her son died. It really put me on an emotional roller coaster. I enjoyed reading how Izzy is loving on her and protecting her from anything and that includes her trifling family. Can not wait to read the next one

Israel knows what he needs in his life & it's Angel. Tasha is messy & a hater but she has pushed the wrong button with the Richards brothers. Dorothy & her sister are disgusting people who are only out for themselves. Idk what Angel's donor wants but he can ki k rocks too.

Good start, hoping for more connection in book 2
I liked the first part off Israel and Angel’s story. A few things were off, like the whole billionaire gangsta role Israel was on.. that wasn’t necessary in my opinion at all. Also, all of Angel’s folk’s popping out of the woodwork, like for what?! Why?!

First of all Angel has a horrible family. I believe her mother Dorothy, her Aunt Pam and cousin Tasha/Monet had something to do with that fire!! Ivan is nutty for still entertaining Tasha/Monet. Israel is a real one. I'm glad Angel get him in her corner. Her Father is up to something?

Angel is too sweet and innocent and Israel ain’t the one to be messed with on no day of the week. It was love at first sight for him and Angel is the only woman that he’s ever seen as his forever. Her family is plotting against her but she has a man that will go to war about her. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Short read
It was a nice short read, and it didn't take long for them to become lovers! There was a ton of spelling errors and it bothered me to my core because some parts were hard to understand. Some parts were also unclarified and it made me read it over and over again, it was a good book and hopefully the second makes more sense!

Mr. Richard’s is a breath of fresh air honey! I love the way he is so into Angel. When he said her soul called out to him arghhhh, baby I flat lined. So glad that they are open and honest with each other, no assumptions just real live adulting. Thank you for your hard work.

Izz saw Angel at her cafe and immediately knew he had to have her. From the following her home every night to the just coming in for tea and the paper. Angel’s bitch ass momma and cousin deserved to be stomped tf out. Like both y’all some money hungry hoes. Looking forward to seeing Izz’s brother play in the cousin’s face. Sad that her cafe burned down. Looking forward to seeing who did it.
