They finally found their way to each other, but outside forces threaten to tear them apart. Best friends since childhood, Rachel and Anthony finally found their way to one another despite life-threatening odds, but their love comes with challenges, as outside forces are determined to destroy their relationship and their lives. While packing to move in with Anthony, Rachel finds that Ian Knight has hidden a small camera among her things. Her ex is clearly not ready to let her go, and the camera is just the beginning of what the cartel leader has planned, including kidnapping, manipulation and murder.
For as long as she can remember, Nikki Rose has enjoyed writing stories. For years, writing was just a hobby for this South Carolina native. It was a way to let out all the stories floating around in her head. After one of those stories took on a mind of its own, outgrowing even the parameters of a single book, Rose knew she had to pursue her dream.
Married to her high school sweetheart and best friend, Rose feels she is truly living out a romance story of her very own. As a stay at home mom of two, she is blessed with the time needed to work on her writing career full-time while her kids are at school or in the wee hours while normal people sleep. She considers herself a music-obsessed chocoholic and hopeless romantic who enjoys weaving romance stories with a healthy dose of mystery and suspense.
Wow! What a great continuation to a story we thought was finished, but really hoped was not. Nikki made our dreams come true writing one more book to tie it all up for us in a pretty little bow.
Rachel and Anthony are finally trying to move on with life. After everything that happened with Ian, Rachel is definitely ready. But life has other plans as they find that Ian is not done causing mayhem. Will they be able to finally take down Ian and his crew?
This book continues the story in a smooth transition with you not missing a thing. Just like the first book, there is kidnapping, murder and mayhem. This book is as dangerous as the last and has many twists and unexpected events.
These characters are strong and well developed. The story line is strong and intriguing. Starting from the very first page, readers are thrown into a steady paced special ops style story. There is hot romance and sexy men to keep you entertained thoroughly. As with all Nikki Roses books the story is a bit dark and very dangerous. It tells a story so well you feel as if you are there. She hits on sensitive subjects and writes from the heart.
Overall this book is a perfect ending to an ugly start. The characters are perfectly written for this story. It is the perfect blend of romance, danger, lies and deceit. I really enjoyed and was so glad Nikki gave us a perfect book to tie our story up.
If you like deep meaningful reads, that are a tad on the dark side, then check out this amazing author. Take a walk on the wild side pick up “When Knight Falls” today.
When Knight Falls is the sequel to “When Dae Breaks” and I absolutely loved it.
Rachael and Anthony’s journey continues, but not without incident. Rachael is preparing to move in with Anthony when she finds a small camara in her apartment. She knows without a shadow of a doubt Ian isn't done with her yet.
Rachael continues to live in fear and Anthony doesn't quite know what to do. This story continues the roller coaster of emotions that we had in the first book. Nikki Rose wrote a dark story, with a twist of emotions and suspense. It is so good.
I definitely enjoyed the second book for Rachael and Anthony. The way the story developed it had me hooked to the pages. There is a lot of passion between the two, but when we think we have these couple's HEA, there are a few twists thrown their way. The drama, the angst, the mystery! I really enjoyed When Knight Falls and loved the characters more.
This is the sequel to “When Dae Breaks” and Rachel and Anthony’s journey continues. Rachel is preparing to move in with Anthony when she finds a small camara in her apartment, and she know that her ex Ian has not finished terrorising her. While Rachel lives in fear, Anthony feels helpless, they are challenged by outside forces, and their reality becomes a nightmare when they know that Ian and the cartel are nowhere finished with them. This is a well written flawless story which this talented author had done an outstanding job in penning. This story is dark and intriguing, and with danger, twists, suspense, mayhem, murder, kidnapping, and love. I highly recommend this author’s work for all.
First you need to read When Dae Breaks, and when you think you have all the characters, plots, and subplots figured out and organized, you can start this book and realize that you know nothing. This is an amazing book as the first one was too. Rachel and Anthony are finally together, but Ian (Knight) isn’t finished with them, especially Rachel. The story is incredible, with well defined and memorable characters melded into impeccable world building! Don’t miss this read!
If you have read When Dae Breaks then I Would highly recommend this book because it has the same characters from from that book. The plot is a continuation of the characters. There’s plenty of steam suspense drama and twists that had me turning the pages. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
Rachel and Anthony's story continues. Rachel is still dealing with the fallout from her being kidnapped. But she and Anthony have gotten closer, and their love for each other is allowed to blossom and grow. When she begins to come out of her shell, their lives can be so much more than either of them ever dreamed. But there is still the shadow of Ian and his criminal family, hovering over them. I really enjoyed this book. It was a page turner.
Great writing!! Loved this book. When Dae Breaks was a great book & Rose has just outdid herself with this sequel. I could not put it down. A real page turner!
Ian is never too far from Rachel. It’s confirmed when she finds a hidden camera in her apartment. Just when she thinks she can finally move on with Anthony she’s brought back to her past. Rachel continues to live in fear and Anthony feels helpless knowing the monster is still out there. Their nightmare becomes a reality when Rachel is once again face to face with Ian. Will Anthony be able to rescue her, or will she have to relive her nightmare all over again?
Another fantastic book from this author filled with drama & suspense! I stayed up all night reading this page-turner to find out how they were going to handle Ian. Looking forward to see what will be written next!
This book was everything I anticipated and much more! Nikki Rose finished this duet with a BANG! This book continues where the previous book left off, which included Rachel Dae, Ian Knight, and Anthony Parker. This book has all of the ingredients for a masterpiece. The book was a dark romance, super hot and steamy, had action and adventure, and mystery and suspense. Kudos to Nikki on a well-written amazing duet! This duet is a must read and I highly recommend!
Wowsa this book freaking rocked!!! You will absolutely be sitting on the edge of your seat throughout this book and a few times you might want to toss your kindle because you get mad but if we have learned anything from Rachel and Anthony is that their relationship is never going to go as planned. This book had several twist and turns in it and of course Ian is still after Rachel but can Anthony save her in time? Nikki is one heck of an author because she gets you so hooked and you connect with the characters emotions and its like being there on the sidelines. Absolutely fantastic book.
Holy what a ride this read takes us on. Anthony and Rachel, not even sure these two will know how to lead a normal uneventful life. I loved this read, everything I wanted in a book. Romance, action, an alpha male and a perfect heroine. This book had me turning pages almost faster then i could read. Another 5 plus star read from this author
Wow what turmoil that Rachel and Anthony have to endure in this story. You get to see the love that they have for one another and what all they will go through for the other. This was a great book and series. I truly enjoyed it.
