Babe was such an amazing read! I loved all the characters, the backstories, and the pace of the book! Couldn’t have asked for a better contemporary RH read!

This is a well written contemporary reverse harem romance. I am not a fan of enemies to lovers as a rule but I enjoyed how this romance started. The boys were expecting a fun summer of parties sex and indulging in their mad habits. Hollyn’s internship falls through at the last moment, she has to take a job that she doesn’t want so she can save money for college or else she will not be able to go.
The job is nothing like she expected at all, and for the boys their summer turns out vastly different from what they expected. I love how naturally it all happens and the interactions between Hollyn and the boys. I also enjoyed how they dealt with the various issues. The story flows beautifully and kept me interested and eager throughout. Characterisation was really good and I really enjoyed reading it

That’s been a surprisingly sweet stand-alone Rh love story, with complex, very likable characters and no OTT drama. I loved the way the relationships developed, and the way each of them, including Hollyn, changed to a better version of themselves during that summer they were thrown together. It’s one of the romances that improves your day and that you finish smiling 🙂

Finallyy!! So I read a lot of books, I have an addiction and I’m okay with it. But this one? As much as I LOVE High school and young college age books, it’s not very common to find a RH where the characters are all 20+ and this one is!! It doesn’t tell you ages but they’re all legal to drink 🤷🏻♀️
And also - not completely set in a school/college environment. Nope this is a sexy summer romance x4!!
AND it’s a stand alone so I don’t have to cry in a corner to find out what happens next.
This book is a definite recommendation for those who are looking for older main characters ✔️If you’re looking for a steamy summer romance with the added bonus of multiple love interests ✔️ rather read a stand alone than a series ✔️ the writing is great. The storyline is different. And I couldn’t put it down 🦋

From the moment I started to read there was a whirlwind of emotions going on and I found I couldn't put it down. The characters just seemed to flow with every turn of the page and you instantly fell in love with the story and had you drawn to want more. Loved the different side of the story between her and her 4 men as it give you an insight as to what there thinking and I found the whole thing cleverly written and also funny and hot at the same time , I'm just sad it's just a standalone as I would have liked more.

This book was fun, it had sea, 4 hot and rich guys falling for one woman, small town vibes, bitchy cousin and was perfect for the summer time. I had serval problems with this book: The relationship between Hollyn (the main character) and each of the guys didn't make sense, there wasn't reason for how she made them all behave and trust her that fast. Also, the ending was refuted and I find it hard to believe it would have happened in real life. The idea of polyamory is not for everyone, but overall, it was a fun reading experience 🌅 💓

4 boys that constantly are into trouble, and think partying is the end all be all hit the end of their rope, and end up in Tidewater. What could happen with Hollyn to babysit them?
This book has a lot of steam, is Reverse Harem, angsty, and has some bullying. The guys are hot, trying to find their own way, and often cave to the pressures of their families. This summer proves what they are made of, and that they can care about someone other than themselves.
I loved this standalone !

This one has been sitting on my Kindle for months and it finally hit me to read it. Hollyn, Wade, Raines, Archer, + Hayes were…interesting, to say the least. Hollyn hated the SUPs and the guys were the epitome of SUPs. The enemies-to-lovers vibe lasted maybe 25% of the book before the guys flipped the switch and Hollyn fell for them.
I agree with some other reviewers when they said this RH was off-balance. One of the guys she doesn’t even have full sexy times with. One of the guys she has ONE private moment and then he’s mentioned in passing. The two guys that are flushed out the most were the womanizers, so that makes sense, but this could’ve been a solid 5 stars for me had we had equal page time for ALL the guys.
With that being said, I really did enjoy this one. Watching the guys slowly come into being men, watching Hollyn push forward and never giving up…it was fulfilling in the best ways. I loved the camaraderie between the guys, especially how they supported each other with overcoming their vices. I loved how they were all honest and open about Hollyn and how they were feeling.
The sexy times weren’t anything special, but they did offer more emotional ties and observations with minor details of gentle touches and reverence. I think that’s my favorite aspect of the book…how the guys viewed Hollyn as this feisty, compassionate, strong af chick who genuinely cared for them all.
Overall, this book was great for a standalone, contemporary RH, but I felt a little off-balance myself with the relationship developments. Regardless, this one will be on my reread pile in the future, because hey, maybe I missed some things.

I love these two together!! Babe was such a good read I could not put my kindle down. If you are looking for a good summer read, or summer vibe since it is pretty much fall now, this read is definitely for you.
I really enjoy reading about Hollyn who I connected with pretty quickly. After all she has to work for four guys who are not very nice. You almost get a Cinderella vibe here. She works hard and they try to break her down. But who will be doing the breaking down in the story? She takes four guys who are battling their own demons, who are not very nice and slowly but surely touches each one in a special way. If you look hard enough they may even show some affection and love toward her. But you know she is strong and there every step of the way for them. I just loved this.
I so enjoy these types of stories where the guys are so hard to reach, but for their one match. They are jerks to everyone else but their baby. This has that, and I enjoyed it so much. Would definitely recommend this read, and these authors.

Wow! This book is just amazing. I completely fell in love with the characters and story right away. Hollyn is an amazing character she’s strong willed and do what is necessary to reach her goals. She meets some amazing guys who are very different and she takes on the daunting task of keeping them out of trouble. This book is full of crazy antics from both the guys and Hollyn. You get a look into the life of the rich and the poor and it’s interesting seeing how they come together on the island. I can’t say enough about this book! You will just ha e to just read it and find out how amazing it is!

Loved this one! It was a great summer read, even at the beginning of fall. I loved that it was told in multiple POVs, and that we got to see how each of the guys changed and accepted their feelings. It did feel like it was a fast-burn romance.
All the characters had solid personalities, and Hollyn did as well. I did feel like we spent more time with two of the guys more than the other two, but it was still solid. I liked that what I thought would be the climax was just like a prelude to what was to come, and even so it wasn’t completely intense. I wish Savannah had gotten more shit though, she was the worst!
Loved the epilogue and wish there could be more from the years to come!

This book had me on the edge the entire time. Full of drama, a little mystery, and a whole lotta romance I was sucked right in. I loved the way the story builds around both Hollyn's world, and the guys world in the beginning and how the seemingly effortless writing flows these two worlds together. It is a great take on a tale of a girl from the wrong side of the tracks, or in this case Island, and the men she falls in love with. My only complaint is that I was not ready for it to end. Here is to hoping we get to see a glimpse into the HEA down the line.

Sizzling hot summer read! You have got to give this one a read!
This was the first book by Angel Lawson and third book of Melissa Adams that I have read. The writing styles of these two authors work seamlessly together! I fell in love with the characters! And was really rooting for Raines! All the guys had there wonderful qualities and I loved watching them evolve and grow as the story progressed. Each of them had their own path and relationship with Hollyn, and it was great to watch it unfold. I didn't want this one to end.. It is one of my favorite books so far this year! I really enjoyed it! I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone! It is REALLY GOOD!!

This book is absolutely amazing. Raines, Archer, Wade, and Hayes are the typical rich boys. They do what they want, when they want, and even who they want no matter the consequences. Hollyn is a local girl who works and fights for everything she has and wants in life, her new job is to basically babysit 4 rich frat boys. I love how even though the guys are hot, Hollyn doesn't just fall at their feet and do what they say just because they say it. Definitely recommend this book because it's amazing.

Two of my favorite authors got together and wrote a book! I went in with high expectations because of this, and they were blown out of the park. I couldn't put this book down from page one. When I got to the end, I was sad to flip the last page. This is an amazing standalone. It has some of the funniest scenes I have ever read. I really hope the authors return to Tidewater, but there are some characters I want to see get their HEA.

This is an amazing story of summer romance, heartbreak, struggles, and true love. I loved the characters so much, it was so easy to fall in love with them all. The storyline is fantastic and definitely kept me glued to the pages. I would absolutely recommend this book and definitely consider it a must read!

Melissa and Angel are an amazing writing duo! I was blown away by how quickly I became invested in this book. This girl and her men are such well rounded characters, there was depth to each of them and to see them all change eaxhother throughout the book was beautiful. My only critique, is that I need more!! Normally I love a standalone but these characters deserve another book!

Utterly brilliant!
I loved this book, for me there were several standout moments that made me swoon. I won't go into detail as I don't want to give anything away. It does say enemies to lovers but it's quite light on how horrible the guys are. It's more a fmc who's much more spiteful. I loved it, the story flowed smoothly.

Absolutely loved this story! It’s fun and sweet and super sexy. I also love that it was a standalone because every once in a while you need a standalone to take a break from all the series that stress you out. The only thing I was disappointed in is that we didn’t get more of Raines! He is my favorite!

I loved it! Hollyn is strong. She's used to working hard for what she wants . SuP's are rich and arrogant from her point of view. When she takes a job babysitting 4 college guys for the summer her life changes big time. The guys are hot. They are so attentive to Hollyn and really go for what they want.

This book was amazing! so much sizzle and chemistry! I loved how strong Hollyn was and how she didn't take any crap from the guys. Loved this story. It ended way too soon! Well done!

Holy hotness!
This book has it all if you are looking for the ultimate summer read. Hot alpha holes turned mushy around their woman and the douche ex that just won't give up. The whole golddigger accusation and all the angsty doubt - yes, give me all the feels. I loved this and hope it will not be the only book set in this Backwater scene.
