Mr Thinkalot, the science professor, returns for his second space journey. He is still always thinking, his head full of ideas and problems.

After returning home from his very successful, fantastic space journey and adventures on the planet Eden, Mr Thinkalot's life starts to get back to normal.

However, what he doesn't know is that Bert, the computer in his Super Space Helmet, has had an urgent request for help from Wave to help save his own planet Gallons. Wave's homeworld is now also in dreadful danger; the ice caps are melting, sea levels are rising and land is being swallowed up.

Eventually, Mr Thinkalot hears the message and he and Bert waste no time travelling to Eden to find out what is causing the problem and to help the inhabitants of Gallons save their planet.

The fate of two worlds is now weighing heavily on Mr Thinkalot's shoulders. Can he save these planets from extinction-level events?

On their second adventure, Mr Thinkalot and Bert meet new species and make new friends but will Eden and Gallons be saved from the impending doom?

He returns to earth a changed man, with another important message for humanity. They will listen.

Follow Mr Thinkalot on his second space journey - one that is even more spectacular than his first.

About the author

My name is Ian Mayes and I live in the UK.

I am an author and illustrator and I am on the verge of publishing a new book that’s titled A day in the life of Russell Sprout.

It will help teach basic food nutrition, as nutrition has always been something I have studied and been interested in. I have qualifications in the subjects and I wanted to create a book that was fun, educational with added humour for good measure.

Mr Thinkalot’s Fantastic Space Journey was the first book I wrote and illustrated. Although at the time, I had not been drawing for over 15 years due to my health problems. I was happy that I managed to illustrate and write the book. It was very challenging at the time, as I did not own a computer, software or drawing tablet but I did my actual best at the time.

This year I was able to revisit the book, it has been really fun going back to the beginning and remastering the whole book. Seeing the book come to life again has really made me happy. I wanted to keep the cover similar to the original, but I have improved on it.

Okay now I thoroughly enjoyed book 1 as it was really good, as it was all new and Following Mr Thinkalot I felt like I was with him for the full space journey. Space exploring for the first time, introduced to the characters and planets it was all very exciting. So it was a must to get 2

Then book 2 came along and we all sat down and I started to read, it felt familiar at the beginning but that’s not a bad thing and you will understand if you finish the book, because in this book Mr Thinkalot achieves so much more, he ventures further into space and is definitely now a hero, possibly a superhero? He definitely earns the right to be called a hero. Not only is this exciting, fun and funny again, there’s just so much more and very educational. The children thought it was Spectacular, so I will recommend the series to my friends and family.

I was so very excited for this sequel as I enjoyed the first book so much, and let me tell you it did not disappoint. Again the story is very educational and done in away that it is a fast action adventure/science fiction book, while you learn while on the adventure with Mr Thinkalot, with even more planets and more characters to fall in love with. This book is also really funny and informative, I really like how the author has put real world issues into a story this way. It’s a very positive book, both books have hidden messages too. They have just been a joy to read, I love them but my children love them too. We are excited and hoping for Mr Thinkalot 3 to come out as soon as possible. I fully recommend.
