Astrid Montoya is the new operative to the Boswell Group. When she arrived she wasn’t sure if she would be staying, the job being too good to be true. After hearing about her responsibilities and learning where she would be living, she changed her mind and took the job offer.
On the worst day of John Stuart’s life, he met the woman of his dreams under less than ideal circumstances. Once everything was straightened out, and he convinced her he wasn’t an ax murderer, they got to know each other. After pulling a jealous stunt that hurt Astrid, John had to grovel to win back her trust. Was it enough for her to forgive him, or had he lost his chance to be with her?
....John fails completely and is an ass of epic proportions! Fortunately Astrid does not let him off the hook easily and he may pay with his pride! We get more of the puzzle pieces to the investigation, but they open up more questions than they answer... I read this on Kindle Unlimited.
This is a continuation of the Boswell Group series. You don't absolutely have to read them in order but it does help to u understand the dynamics if you do. This one, about how Astrid joins the group and what happens, is an excellent showing of how relationships ought to work. How men and women should respect one another. I thought this story ended rather abruptly with no clear ending. There are also many incorrect word choices that should have been caught by a proofreader. The overall story is excellent.
I am enjoying this series more than any I've read. I hope you have many more in store for us fans. Each book has been part of a bigger story, the characters are all different with that something in common plus its about strong independent women from the military ,who are kickass but still sexy women. And the sexy men who love them. They ride motorcycles. A little something for everyone. Love it.
This series is great and am hoping there will be more books to come . The interaction between all of the characters is fantastic and has me laughing out loud quite frequently. Please please tell me there will be more as I feel it’s quite a cliff hanger right now .
I love this series and it’s author. The author has taken a very unique approach I in stories about women from the military in black ops. It is so interesting and unusual from the status quo. I recommend this series and the author!
I truly enjoyed reading this book it was intriguing, mysterious, sexy, loving, and full of action! I would definitely recommend this book to read! 🤗🤗👏👏
Loved the way Astrid was able to accomplish things with her technology background. John was having such a bad day, he needed someone to help him turn things around. They both worked well together.
Astrid is the fourth book by Deanna L. Rowley in her Boswell Group series, under the banner of Elle James’ Brotherhood Protectors World. There are still more “gals” to join the group as they become available after exiting the Marines. Extra information came to light about their mission from an unusual source. Construction continued at the compound which is finally reaching completion. One of the fun times in this book was when the guys were being instructed in hand-to-hand combat. Deanna has written likeable characters and the story lines are interesting. Reminds me of M.L. Buchman’s early military series. I loved that series and now have the same feeling when I finish a book. It ended, but more are coming!
Wish this had been longer. Didn't get to the important stuff to track the bad guys. I loved the story, but it's going to be a while before the next book come out. They have a lot of information, but I hope it's not going to drag out till all the girls show up. It would have been a 5 star read, but there were errors and I was left hanging at the end.
