Catalina has one goal and that's to stay fed during her time at school so she robs graves to earn some money. But she does get bullied. She tries to keep to herself and on purge night when she's robbing she is chased by 3 men in mask the thrill of the chase she enjoys the moment. Until the next morning when she finds out the guys who she had sex with are the 3 bullys who made her life hell. Now she tries to keep her distances since she knows they know what she does.
Few of the guys Nyx and Dorian want to keep going but Cole really has it out for her. And Cata doesn't know why until later on when he finally tells everyone why he dislikes her.
But there's more drama seems someone from Coles crew wants the grave robber caught. Now the guys gotta keep safe there girl.

This is a quick, suuuper dirty read- perfect for Halloween! Three guys in masks rail the heroine and she finds out who they are... eventually. ;) I enjoyed reading it but the FMC was a little unlikeable. I don't have much else to say... it was hot.

I wanted to like this SO BAD. It was like The Purge with Scream For Us but the plot was so terrible and I love a gang romance book but this one was not it. Also they had the dumbest reason for bullying her. ALSO do not get me started on the lack of commas 😂😤

this book had potential but there was just too many typos all throughout the book. i love halloween, masked men and hot smut which is exactly what was included in this book that I liked, but other than that this book just lacked a lot and the typos threw me off from liking this book more.

I'm a little torn for this rating and review.
On one hand I really like the overall storyline. Why Choose, masked men, halloween, I little playing in the bedroom, some troubles pasts and three morally grey gang member/enforcer MMCs. I like all of that.
What I also really really liked, was how sweet these three guys (especially Nyx and Dorian) were towards her. It was wonderful.
What I didn't like, however, was how fast the story progressed. And I get it, the book is only 116 pages and of course there would be a fast pace. However, there are also two more books in this story, so we could have had a little more slow burn in here, not instantaneous wholesomeness and sweetness. Like the guys could have been a little rough for a little while longer, before finally falling first. 😉
The other thing I didn't like so much, was honestly the writing. It felt like this needed a little more editing, because while reading I found that some senctences were weirdly incomplete. Sometimes words were missing or the sentence went into another direction halfway through which left me a little confused. It felt a little all over and I feel like one more round of editing could've helped this a lot.
Now, will I read book 2? Yes, I will, because I want to know what will happen next and I mean the books are really short and quick and there was a cliffhanger that definitely hooked me. Sooooo we will see, whether the things I didn't like so much will improve. 😊

This was very good. Not as spicy as I thought it was going to be, but still spicy. That cliffhanger though! I’m so glad I can go right into the second book because I need to know what happens.

From what I gathered: Imagine the Purge, but with non-consensual “s3x”, instead of Murder, grave robbing, and terrible grammar.

This book was all over the place, and I honestly couldn't wrap my head around this whole bullying thing. She's a loner, keeping to herself, and they start picking on her because one of them assumed ?
You've got to be joking. It just doesn't make sense. Unless Cole had been stalking her and got jealous. Isn't that what girls are taught? "If he picks on you he likes you." Fuck that. I took off one star for this alone.
FMC Catalina loves Halloween and everything scary, so she's not scared although apparently her weird little town has decided that this night is basically lawless. When she's caught by three strangers she believes she has no choice but to let them do whatever they want with her. It all sounds horrible at first, but they do ask for her consent and provide her with a safe word and everything. Every one of them has a different nickname for her, which is kind of sweet.
But the next morning she learns who they are and she hates herself for having surrendered to them, because they're her bullies. Back at school, they're suddenly nice to her? It just doesn't make sense. Nyx and Dorian had previously been bullying her simply because Cole wanted them to? Although Nyx seems to have had a crush on her for a while already?
The writing isn't great and honestly the book could use some editing. Spelling errors are one thing, but if I have to read a sentence 4x because it doesn't make any sense due to the lack of a comma, that sucks. Multiple POV is great, but sometimes they address the reader? This had me utterly confused in the early chapters.
It ends on a cliffhanger, but if I pick up more of this series it isn't because the story was interesting, but simply because I'm curious if the author's writing improved at all.

Holy hotness, tension and snarky comebacks. This is exactly what I needed to get me out of my book hangover. *side note: this does end in a cliffhanger, but the sequel is out*
Catalina is a young woman who keeps her head down, focused on her studies and has a side job of recovering dead bodies for a professor. You know, the usual stuff for any scholarship student. She’s smart, talented, sassy and isn’t afraid to say what she wants.
Cole, Dorian and Nyx - the brute, the smooth talker and the protector. All 3 want Catalina, yet have bullied her for months. All that is about to change though…for Halloween night, nothing is off limits.
I got a kick out of this so much - it’s fast paced and sinfully hot. Catalina’s heartbreaking upbringing made her character more real and me just love her more. I went from having reservations about her trip of guys, but as their true colors started to show…those reservations turned to love. I didn’t find this too dark, it’s more of a lighter gray for me but that didn’t take away from my enjoyment at all. I can’t wait to see where this talented author takes this hot little duet.

Ohmygod, I know I probably shouldn't start with this. But the Cliffhanger..... Come on....
Roll on the next book in this series.
This was quite an unusual read for me, but fast paced and utterly brilliant.
It was very sexual and violent. (18+)
It was about a girl who had a very strange job, who on Halloween Night met 3 Strangers in the Night. They turned out to be part of a gang. Which she wasn't too enthused about. Anyway, she was a loner and an easy target.
I would highly recommend this, please 18+ only, due to Adult scenes.

This book left me salivating for more of Cole, Nyx and Dorian!!! All three of these guys are mouthwatering.
This is an short read but perfect for this Halloween Holiday Season!!! I love any book centered around my favorite holiday but one that has mystery, angst and hella good spice!
I identify with Catalina so much as a loner and someone who like to do things on her own and accomplish what she needs to. When these three guys. Finally try to make their place known in her life that’s when all hell breaks loose!!!
I cannot wait for book 2!!! The cliffie on this one left my mind reeling and my heart racing

This book is delicious. The minute I picked it up I couldn’t put it down. The shit that Catalina(which I’m so in love with her name, I always wanted to name my daughter that) goes through is heartbreaking. Dorian, Nyx and Cole 🥵🥵💜🖤 I can’t pick one but Cole and his fucking piercings and his Alpha assholeness 🥵🥵 Nyx is the sweetest and Dorian is a teddy bear.

This is a Halloween themed story. It takes places on Halloween night. Halloween night in the city of Eastwood is purge night. All crimes are forgiven for one night. Catalina is the FMC and is bullied by Dorian, Nyx, and Cole. She is their Wednesday wearing all black. These guys are all enforcers in the Soul Stealers Gang. Cole is the leader and cruelest. Dorian is the muscle. Nyx is the calm one. Catalina makes money buy selling cadavers to her professor. On Halloween night Catalina is found digging up a grave by three men wearing masks. They take her home to their victorian mansion. The night takes a unexpected and hot turn. The next morning Catalina finds out the identity of the men. Dorian, Nyx, and Cole also find out their boss isn't who they thought he was. Their boss is also hunting for a grave digger. I think there is more going on than we find out in this book. I'm looking forward to the next book.

I loved this story and would have rated it higher but the sentence structure, punctuation and grammer is so bad it's unreal. I am undecided if I can tolerate reading any more in this series. Sux because the story is really good bit its too much. 3 stars for the storyline.

Sat down and didn’t get back up until i finished this and holy hell was i hooked! The spice is on point the guys sounds absolutely delicious lol, i was totally into this and cant wait for the next one! Must read and awesome for a quick halloween read ;)

October 29, 2023DNF’ed at about 33%. This book had a lot of grammatical errors and spelling errors. The spice was somewhat decent, but just heavy handed. The plot had good potential but was over run and had some holes. I couldn’t even finish it just for the sake of seasonal spice.

Strangers of the night is a dark Halloween based reverse harem. It centers around main character Catalina and her bullies. This book is definitely unique and unlike other Halloween based books I've read. This story has an amazing plot and isn't filled with just spice, it is a mix of spice and a story line that hooks you in. I devoured this book in one sitting! It however does end on a cliff hanger but there is a warning before the story starts!

The writing isn’t great, but I like the cliffhanger. It’s keeping me entertained but nothing is amazing. I’ll probably read the second one since they’re so short!
